INTRODUCTION
The second assortment of deluxe figures had a new feature in which no Star Wars action figure had before. This assortment had lights and or sounds built into the figure and an action feature display base.
The R2-D2 figure is unique just for this release. By placing R2-D2 on the base and moving the lever on the backside you can move R2-D2 around since he is equipped with a magnetic middle foot. Also by pressing the button on the front of his chest you can make
R2-D2 light up and make sounds.
On the back of the package is a backdrop that you can cut out and place onto the display base to give it that environment feeling and look. Now it looks like
R2-D2 is on Tatooine before those pesky Jawa scavengers capture him.
Unfortunately after this assortment of Electronic F/X Figures this line never returned.
