INTRODUCTION
Skywalker accompanied his friends on the mission to the forest moon
of Endor to knock out the shield generator that protected the Second
Death Star in orbit. Not long after, Skywalker surrendered to Vader
in an attempt to bring the Dark Lord back to the Light Side, but he
ultimately became a prisoner of the Emperor.
The Emperor goaded Skywalker to strike him down to save the Rebels
who were being defeated in the Battle of Endor. Skywalker, in a
moment of weakness, lashed out but Vader stopped his strike and
father and son dueled one another for the last time. Luke Skywalker
attacked Darth Vader with the power of rage, and just managed to
regain control before killing him.
Throwing his lightsaber away, Luke Skywalker declared that he would
never turn to the Dark Side and that he was a Jedi, like his father
before him. Enraged, the Emperor unleashed Force-lightning against
Skywalker in an attempt to kill the young Jedi. Seeing his son
dying, and perhaps remembering the mercy shown him, compassion
finally broke through to Vader. In an act of self-sacrifice, Anakin
Skywalker re-emerged to destroy the Emperor. You to can recreated
Luke’s battle against Darth Vader or the Emperor…
Luke is a new sculpt just for this line. The background image on the
package is long enough to connect to the Darth Vader Base for a
Death Star II Final Duel.
The Electronic F/X line of action figures was short lived. Only five
figures were ever made: R2-D2, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, Jedi
Luke Skywalker, and Emperor Palpatine. Though a short lived line of
action figure this line had potential for further figures and
accessories.
