INTRODUCTION:
Wampa ice creatures are carnivorous predatory mammals indigenous to the Outer Rim Territories ice planet Hoth. The bipedal beasts stand over two meters in height with shaggy white fur constantly stained by the blood and guts of slaughtered prey.
Wampas are armed with jagged yellow teeth and deadly claws. Primarily solitary hunters, Wampas occasionally hunted in packs, preferring to ambush their prey from the camouflage of
Hoth's snow banks and blizzards. Stunned victims were carried back to the
creatures' lairs, typically large ice caves, where the Wampas ate at their leisure.
The planet's omnivorous Tauntauns formed the bulk of the Wampas' prey, although they would attack anything they encountered. As Luke Skywalker found out on patrol when a Wampa attached him and his Tauntaun. Brought back to the
Wampa's cave Luke was hung upside down as he would become a meal for the Wampa who had already started eating his Tauntaun.
Luke escaped the Wampa's ice cave but not before cutting off it's arm as it dove to attack Luke.
The Wampa Ice Creature is a new sculpt from the vintage version. By rotating his body and letting go the Wampa has swinging attack.
Luke is unique with this set since you can turn him upside down and the scarf on his head can be rotated to hang as well. Luke’s face is scarred from the
Wampa's attack.
