An integral part of the American
scene for approximately 50 years, PEZ Candy
continues to be enjoyed by generations of Americans. PEZ was first
marketed
as a compressed peppermint candy over 70 years ago in Vienna,
Austria. The
name PEZ was derived from the German word for peppermint...
PfeffErminZ.
Today, over 3 billion PEZ Candies are consumed annually in the
U.S.A. alone.
With great tasting flavors and collectable dispensers, PEZ is more
than just
a candy... it's the pioneer of "interactive candy" that is both
enjoyable to eat and fun to play with. PEZ Dispensers are a hot
collectable for adults and children alike as well as being a staple
and part of American pop culture. New character dispensers are
introduced regularly to capitalize on current trends, such as Star
Wars, which has been added into the PEZ collection in the past few

Not only does PEZ make the standard
4.5-inch dispensers that most of the
world has grown up with but PEZ is now venturing into a new scale of
PEZ
dispensers. PEZ has introduced the 12-inch tall versions of PEZ
dispensers
or more commonly known as Giant PEZ dispensers. This new 12-inch
scale or
Giant PEZ dispensers are identical to their smaller counterparts
with the
added technology of sound or music that plays when a PEZ candy is
dispensed.
Also included with the 12-inch tall /
Giant PEZ dispensers are LIMITED EDITION versions of favorite PEZ
dispensers. For the Star Wars line PEZ has created three distinctive
PEZ dispensers. Identical to their smaller Limited Edition Star Wars
PEZ dispensers these new 12-inch or Giant PEZ Dispensers have sound
and or lights incorporated into them.
