Though he was a skilled a pilot as any in the Jedi Order, Kit Fisto preferred engaging in planetside combat, and took command of Republic forces in many unorthodox campaigns. As a result of his preference and skill, Kit Fisto did fewer performance enhancing modifications to his Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter than many other Jedi. Instead, he strengthened its airframe, struts and landing gear to help it withstand high-speed reentry and rough landings, reasoning that the faster he could get on the ground, the sooner he'd be able to get into the fight.

Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter is the fourth repainted version of the Jedi Starfighter. The first was the Obi-Wan Kenobi Jedi Starfighter from Episode II (later repacked with Obi-Wan Kenobi Pilot at KB Toys), followed by the Blue Clone Wars version, in which the Revenge of the Sith Plo Koon Jedi Starfighter was released ending up with the fourth version that is Kit Fisto’s. Look to the near future for a fifth repaint of this vehicle as Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter in the 30th Anniversary Line of Star Wars toys.

There is an error on the packaging. The front of the box claims this is "Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfigher” not “Starfighter.”

Out of all the Kit Fisto figures that have been release thus far none of them really fit into the cockpit of this Starfighter. I did get the “Revenge of the Sith” version of the Kit Fisto figure to fit into the cockpit but I had to cross his legs to do so. The cockpit will barely close. I guess if you really wanted to you could pull the legs off of a Kit Fisto figure to make is fit into his Starfighter properly.

Though this ship is just a repaint of an existing ship I think it is a nice addition to the Star Wars vehicles line of toys.
