DARTH MAUL... INTERNATIONAL STYLE
Darth Maul, the Sith Apprentice, who the Galaxy and Star Wars fans around the world came to know when he attacked Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Naboo with such ferocity and skill. His ability to use the Double Bladed Lightsaber was so amazing that he was able to kill a well-trained Jedi Master with relative ease.

This version of the Darth Maul statue is known as the “International” version, which was given by Gentle Giant. The difference between this piece and the “United States” version is in this piece he is missing his Sith Robe and his head appears to be at a slightly different angle. The edition size on this piece is also different from the US version with this one coming in at 2k pieces compared to the 3k pieces for the US version.

The detail on this Darth Maul statue is amazing and the best of any 1/6th scale piece I’ve seen of this character. I love how this piece almost virtually comes from the “Duel of Fates” sequence from The Phantom Menace right before he battles Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. This piece makes for an outstanding addition to your Star Wars collection and especially if you’re a Darth Maul fan like me. I would highly recommend getting this piece and if you have the available funds grab the US version as well to have even more Maul in your collection.
