INTRODUCTION
2009 marks the 10th anniversary of Star Wars  Episode I - The Phantom Menace.
What better way for Hasbro to celebrate than to offer the fans’ the hardest "Phantom Menace" toy to get? That is right not since 1999-2000 has the limited release of the Eopie been available to add to collections worldwide. Fans got their first glimpse at this offer at San Diego ComicCon 2009.

Now with this special mail-away offer you can acquire the Eopie (using the same mold as the original release just with a different paint scheme) along with a Qui-Gon Jinn action figure (not the same Qui-Gon Jinn that was offered with the original release).

All you have to do is mail away the enclosed certificate that is on marked packages of 2009 basic Star Wars figures along with X5 proof of purchases and the shipping costs. This offer is valid until 3/31/10 or while supplies last.

Eopies were renowned for their endurance and ability to carry a lot of cargo. They also had a reputation of being stubborn or grumpy creatures. This however, could be attributed to their owners, who often pushed these animals to the limit, packing them with extremely heavy loads. It could also be attributed to the limited diet available to these beasts of burden, which gave them incredibly potent flatulence that Jar Jar Binks got to experience just before the now infamous Pod Race where Anakin Skywalker won his freedom thanks to Qui-Gon Jinn who served the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order his entire life, participating in actions against the Nebula Front and most famously during the Invasion of Naboo. It was Qui-Gon who discovered the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker, on Tatooine during this crisis and was largely responsible for championing his training.
