INTRODUCTION
Born a slave on Tatooine, Anakin Skywalker came to the attention of stranded Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn,
R2-D2, and Padme Amidala. Later freed and brought to train with the Jedi, Anakin learned of a prophecy which claimed a
"CHOSEN ONE" would rise and bring balance to the Force - a prophecy remained unfulfilled for decades.
After becoming Obi-Wan Kenobi's apprentice and training for years in the ways of the Force, Anakin once again encountered Padme Amidala and, despite the teachings of the Jedi, secretly pursued and married the Senator. Further events would push the young Jedi even closer to the Dark Side, culmination in a showdown between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine with each trying to persuade Anakin Skywalker to join them. His decision to rebel against the Jedi in hopes of saving
Padme's life would haunt him for years as he witnessed his own transformation into the Sith Lord known as Darth Vader, however with his final breath Anakin fulfilled the prophecy and brought the Sith line to the end.
This nineteen-inch Ultimate Quarter Scale of Anakin Skywalker as seen in
"Revenge Of The Sith" includes his signature lightsaber and an alternate hand. Fully-layered cloth costume and display stand (required to make Anakin stand) along with electronic phrases from the movie make this Anakin Skywalker ready for the Dark Side.
Anakin's lightsaber is really done well with the removable blade. Again the lightsaber is sculpted nicely but sadly cannot hang on
Anakin's belt. As for other accessories, the alternate hand, there are none. I would have like to see Anakin come with a Jedi Robe.
Beside a few minor issues like every Quarter Scale Doll from Diamond (top heavy torso and weak joints) these are not to bad. I would say these are a great addition to any Star Wars collection and only a quarter of the cost of some Premium Format items that are out on the market.
