INTERNET EXCLUSIVE 2006
Trained in the deadly, secret art of echani and fanatically devoted to the Emperor, the Royal Guard from which these two men rose was the most feared group of warriors in the Empire. Treacherous usurper of the Imperial throne, Carnor Jax betrayed his brothers in the Guard and defiled the memory of the Emperor, earning him the undying hatred of Kir Kanos. Kir Kanos, devoted to the codes of the New Order and Emperor Palpatine, embarked on a vendetta that rocked the shattered Empire to its foundations. Though Carnor Jax had trained himself in the dark side of the Force, his power was not enough to stay the burning vengeance of Kir Kanos, at whose hand he met his death.

Kir Kanos
A stalwart adherent to the tenets of the New Order even long after the Empire had collapsed, Kir Kanos' beliefs made him one of the most deadly fugitives in the galaxy. Kanos was a member of the Emperor's Royal Guards, the elite red-robed sentinels that guarded the galaxy's ruler.

Carnor Jax
The treacherous Carnor Jax had betrayed his oaths of the Emperor's Royal Guards and sabotaged Palpatine's clones. As the remaining Royal Guards gathered on Yinchorri to mourn the loss of their Emperor, Carnor Jax unleashed his Stormtrooper forces. All but one Guardsman was murdered: Kir Kanos.

The Carnor Jax and Kir Kanos figures incorporate parts from the Royal Guard figure from 2005 (III-023). Newer sculpted parts include the torso, gauntlets, and individual heads for each character. Otherwise they share the same basic parts for this comic book two-pack.

Comic Book included is a reprint of Crimson Empire #6.
