Star Wars #11 –
Anakin Skywalker and Assassin Droid
The battle is going badly for the Republic on the planet Jabiim. The Separatist
Forces are launching their final strike and the Republic Forces are in retreat.
Only a handful of Padawans, who’s Masters have been killed in battle stand
between the Republic Forces and the approaching Separatists with their Pollux A-Series
Assassin Droids. The Padawans decide to fight the Separatists giving the Republic
Forces time to escape. Anakin Skywalker chooses to join the Padawans in their brave
futile last stand but destiny has other plans for the young Skywalker.
Star Wars #12 –
Baron Soontir Fel and Derek “Hobbie” Klivian
Rogue Squadron is sent to Brentaal IV, as important trading planet held by the
Imperial Forces. This elite squadron’s mission is to take control of the
planet, but to do that they will have to defeat Baron Soontir Fel’s formidable
181st Imperial TIE Squadron – no easy task even for “Derek “Hobbie”
Klivian and the other ace pilots who make up Rogue Squadron. Unknown to them, they are
being used by bickering Imperial Forces in a devious plot to consolidate their power.
Star Wars #13
– Koffi Arana and Bultar Swan
The Jedi are on the run or in hiding after ORDER 66 wiped out most of
the venerable Jedi Order. Bultar Swan has a plan to crush the new Empire:
to destroy Darth Vader and thus weaken the Emperor and his fledgling rule
upon the galaxy. She brings together a small handful of Jedi on the planet
Kessel and leaks a false rumor that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi will be there
knowing that Darth Vader will take the bait… The Jedi are waiting
for him. When Darth Vader arrives the Jedi fight Darth Vader and wound his
mechanical body. Koffi Arana seeking a chance to end it is slain by Vader using
his own severed arm still clutching a blade.
