Who can forget the explosive scene in the Clone Wars animated series when a customized Republic Gunship swoops into action on a desperate rescue mission armed with an impressive arsenal of weapons and painted to resemble a snarling beast? The Gunship swooped over a vast army of battle droids to confront the deadly General Grievous head-on. Heavy laser cannons blazed in rapid fire, driving General Grievous off and clearing the path for the ARC Troopers to gather the wounded Jedi. Although the troopers were unable to eliminate the swift-moving General Grievous, they successfully escaped with the remaining Jedi and simultaneously set off a series of explosive charges that rocked the droid army.

Now you too can relive the Clone Wars Cartoon Adventures with the Exclusive Toys-R-Us Republic Gunship. This is the fourth Gunship release since its introduction in the Star Wars Universe with Episode II – Attack of the Clones. This specially painted Republic Gunship should have made its way into the Clone Wars line of toys instead of the repainted Republic Gunship that was offered. But the long wait is over and now fans can have this Gunship in their collection.

This Republic Gunship offers all the same features as the previously released Republic Gunship(s) since it utilizes the same molds just repainted differently. You get the opening canopy that holds two Clone Pilots (not included), two top mounted firing rocket launchers, a rappelling line, a drop floor to deploy your troops (figures not included), two side doors that open at the push of a button, and two front nose cannons that fire. And on top of that, the box with its new deco for this release shows the Toys 'R Us “The Hunt For Grievous” Battle Pack figures including two SAGA Clone Pilots, which are not part of this exclusive figure set and a large Ultimate Galactic Hunt 2006 foil sticker on the front.

Overall fans of the Star Wars Clone Wars cartoon as seen on Cartoon Network will have pleased with this rendition of the Republic Gunship. Now the question is do you have two Clone Trooper Pilots to pilot this Republic Gunship?
