INTRODUCTION
Last year for the first time in almost two decades, a Star Wars cartoon was aired on television. Cartoon Networks would be the playing ground for producer and director
Genndy Tartakovsky, where he could let his imagination run wild. Well, not exactly wild since of course he would have to have the stamp of approval from George Lucas himself, and we all know how hard that could possibly be. Tartakovsky is well known for his original cartoon, Samurai Jack, which also airs on Cartoon Network.

The first commercial that aired on TV for this new animation brought a lot of commotion to the Star Wars community, and seeing this for the first time brought back memories of when Star Wars itself first came out.

The commercial showed several short clips of what would be aired for the first season, which consisted of twenty three-minute clips.  Here is what was said during that commercial...

These are the stories you've never heard, told in a way you've never seen.  "Star Wars Clone Wars" coming this November to Cartoon Network.

Seeing Yoda standing peacefully there in front of a Clone Trooper, drawing his lightsaber out from underneath his robe using the force, got me all pumped up and yearning to watch these cartoons.  Unfortunately they weren't going to be out until November.
