DARTH VADER FROZEN IN TIME
For the Holidays of 2005 through early 2006 Hasbro released a limited Star Wars cold-cast Darth Vader Statue made of plastic resin, which stands 17-inches high and is displayed on a Mustafar-style base.

This commemorative Darth Vader statue marks the defining moment in Vader's transformation from the once noble Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker, to the evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Vader's past, present and future are all captured and finely detailed as he stands atop a broken platform, just above the lava flow that left him scarred and confined to his life-saving black armor. Armed with his lightsaber, Vader is ready to rule over his new Empire with unrelenting malice! The galaxy will never be the same.

Many Star Wars fans and collectors remember Kenner's short-lived Cinemacast statue line from the early 1990s, which debuted with the highly-coveted Darth Vader edition in 1994. Many Star Wars fans will recognize the short-lived Cinemacast Darth Vader statue when viewing an interview with George Lucas. The statue is usually just behind him on a shelf. Hasbro recently stoked the flames on this smoldering series by releasing an all new Mustafar-inspired edition of Darth Vader, now re-christened Cinemascape Darth Vader. Whereas the original 1994 edition pitted Vader on a base inspired by the Cloud City interior, the 2005 Cinemascape Vader has been totally re-sculpted and cast for Revenge of the Sith, complete with a lava base covered by weathered floor grates. The look and feel of this Darth Vader is very reminiscent of the Unleashed series of Star Wars characters.
