During the Clone Wars,
the Bith Jazz sensation was at its highest, and Figrin D'an and the
Modal Nodes rode that wave all the way to the top. Popular even with
the clone troopers of the Republic, the Modal Nodes toured
constantly. After the war's end, Imperial policies and mismanagement
cast the Modal Nodes on hard times. It fell to bandleader Figrin
D'an to keep the group together booking gigs at any backwater
cantina that would pay their fee.
Each band member of The Modal Nodes
are a repainted figure from the 1997 POTF2 Cantina Band Member
figure but with new soft-goods vest. This set includes five figures
each with a different instrument.
There are five cantina band member
figures included in this set. Depending on what you think or believe
there are actually seven cantina band members of The Modal Nodes
though most people will say there are only five. The five characters
are:
- Figrin D'an, the leader of the
band plays the Kloo Horn.
- Doikk Na'ts, who plays the Fizz.
- Ickabel G'ont, who plays the
Fanfar.
- Tech Mo'r, who plays the Omni
Box.
- Nalan Cheel, who plays the
Bandfill.
And the two not included are:
- Lirin Car'n, a temporary member
who plays the Kloo Horn.
- Tedn Dahai, who plays the
Rakassah Horn.
