The Battle at
the Sarlacc Pit
"Victims of the almighty Sarlacc, his Excellency hopes that you will die honorably..." But Luke Skywalker isn't about to let his friends die at the Pit of Carkoon. As the young Jedi stands on the Skiff above the hungry Sarlacc, he springs his daring escape plan. Boba Fett uses the firing grappling hook in his gauntlet to briefly recapture Luke Skywalker, but with a lightsaber's slash, Luke is once again free. One by one, Jabba's guards fall into the pit to be devoured by the Sarlacc. Lando Calrissian barely escapes from being the creature's next meal, and is saved just in time by the one he betrayed at Cloud City, his old friend Han Solo. But Boba Fett doesn't fare as well; Han accidentally activates Boba Fett's rocketpack and sends the Best Bounty Hunter In The Galaxy tumbling into the Sarlacc's gaping mouth!
All the figures included with this Ultimate Battle Pack are poorly repainted repacks. The weapons included are very flimsy and do not hold their shape except for Luke's lightsaber.
Overall for the price I feel you are getting a really nice Ultimate Battle Pack. Not only do you get a hard to find vehicle that the mold has been used sine the 1980's you also get an all brand new Sarlacc pit display environment and five scene specific figures. I can see a future regular Battle Pack
"Sarlacc Pit Battle" that might perhaps include Chewbacca,
R2-D2 with lightsaber, Princess Leia in her slave outfit, and a Skiff Guard maybe Pote Snitkin?

Sarlacc: Victims who fall into the pit are captured by the beast's tentacles, tugged into its mouth and slowly digested for over a thousand years. For years fans have wanted a Sarlacc pit environment. Though under scale the Sarlacc itself is made of heavy rubberized plastic with amazing detail with one long bendable tentacle that will hold its position. The Sarlacc firmly attaches to the underside of a small desert mound of sand that is made out of heavy gauge plastic. In the packaging there is a thin vacuformed desert base that can place over the Sarlacc and sand for more of a play environment.

Skiff: Repulsorlift platforms transport passengers and cargo; Jabba uses them to bring his prisoners to the Sarlacc pit. This is the second release of the Desert Skiff, both which have happen to be a Target store exclusive. The first release was the 2000 Power of the Force Tatooine Skiff with Luke Skywalker.

Han Solo: To save his friend from a grisly death, Han Solo blasts one of the
Sarlacc's tentacles that has wrapped around Lando's leg.

gives Jabba the Hutt one final warning before he launches an
escape using his powerful Jedi abilities.

Lando Calrissian: Lando impersonates a skiff guard as part of Luke's escape plan and almost loses his life to the Sarlacc.

Weequay Skiff Guard: Jabba's skiff guard Weequay is surprised when Luke launches an attack and a fellow guard turns out to be an imposter.
