SANDTROOPER STATUES BY ATTAKUS
Over the past decade there have been many great Star Wars collectibles featuring the Desert Stormtrooper or Sandtrooper. The team at Attakus America took their turn last year and released two different limited edition versions of your favorite Droid-chasers. The details on these pieces are incredible. Standing just over sixteen inches tall, they managed to hit every single detail that makes a Sandtrooper that much different than the Imperial Stormtrooper.

The diamond knee plate, raw abdomen plate, desert backpack is the most noticeable aspects. However, the subtle details of green lenses aren’t really present or seem to be missing, and you can see black lines in the teardrops. These are some of the cannon standards groups like the 501st Legion use, but rankings and other information can differ depending on where you get your information. The use of the cloth strap for the “Lewis” blaster rifle was a great touch, as the skinnier MG-34 featured on the Sergeant features no strap. The Sandtrooper is limited to 1500 and the Sergeant is limited with a smaller allotment of 750 worldwide. The cold-cast porcelain brings out the absolute best in every Attakus piece, perfect for any collector. However, we couldn’t help but be a little bit biased on these two.
