THE REVIEW, PART 1
Anakin Skywalker is one of the most skilled and daring fighter pilots in the Republic. His amazing piloting abilities make him a powerful ally and a formidable enemy Anakin and his former master Obi-Wan Kenobi battle deadly droid fighters while on a dangerous mission to rescue Chancellor Palpatine, who has been kidnapped by Separatist forces.

Anakin's Jedi Starfighter in my opinion is one of the better Star Wars vehicles made to date. It does not utilize the cheap flimsy toxic free plastic as some of the previous vehicles (AT-ST or Jawa Sandcrawler).

The sculpting for this new vehicle in the Star Wars Universe is outstanding. It is somewhat suppose to cross the Original Trilogy with the New Prequel Trilogy in terms that this ship has crossover design features such as straight lines, the Tie Fighter cockpit window, Snowspeeder cannons, and more while still retaining the technology of today with the new Trilogy in retaining that old (Episode II) Jedi Starfighter lines. One feature that I like is that R2-D2 is not only represented as a plug but he is removable so you can insert in a real R2-D2 action figure. The pop open wings are a nice feature, which remind me of the wings on Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator. That with the firing missiles and landing gear really makes this ship a great toy.

The paint detailing of this ship is very good. Not only does it have that new feeling to it, it has the painting style that this ship has seen some use in battle. It has that used in look and feeling that George Lucas wanted with the Original Trilogy.

On the bottom of the Anakin's Jedi Starfighter box it says Assault Vehicles Asst. 85268/85196 Asst. and the Sneak Preview Logo is a sticker. I believe that this vehicle is not only the chosen Sneak Preview vehicle but I believe that this ship will see shelf space in the future just with the Sneak Preview Logo sticker removed.

The only disappointment that I have with this vehicle is that it is classified as a Sneak Preview vehicle. In my opinion I feel that Hasbro should have included an Anakin Skywalker figure with the ship or included an Anakin Skywalker figure in the Sneak Preview Assortment of Figures. Now children and collector's will have to wait several months until they get an Episode III Anakin Skywalker action figure to place into this awesome looking ship from Revenge of the Sith.

THE REVIEW, PART 2
Anakin battles the enemy in his new Green Jedi Starfighter! He uses his amazing piloting skills and mastery of the Force to defeat his opponents in space combat. Re-create his daring missions and exciting adventures - the mission to rescue Chancellor Palpatine, his daring chase after a mysterious pilot who is as skilled as he is, and many other encounters with the Separatist Forces during the Clone Wars! Live the Adventure in a galaxy far, far away...

This re-issue of the Jedi Starfighter which there are two others (Anakin's Yellow Jedi Starfighter and Obi-Wan's Maroon Jedi Starfighter) is painted Green. Why Green!?! You will see why when you watch Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith released on Thursday May, 19, 2005. If you remember in the Clone Ware cartoon the Jedi Starfighters were painted in many different colors. This ship shares all the same features and functions of the other two Jedi Starfighters. Hasbro packaged the Jedi Starfighter with pre-applied stickers, which I love.

I think the name of this product should really be Darth Vader's Interceptor, since he is already titled Darth Vader by the time he flies the Green Jedi Starfighter to Mustafar where he wipes out the Separatist leadership. The color distinction is visually important in film since it distinguishes the Green Jedi Starfighter from Anakin's Yellow Jedi Starfighter. When he flies his newly acquired Green Jedi Starfighter he is on a mission of evil as instructed by his new Sith Master Palpatine.

The window box is such a nice touch. It highlights the details in this outstanding Jedi Starfighter. It is nice that they are making toys from all parts of the movie even if they are only in a small part of the film. The Anakin figure is just a re-pack of the basic Revenge of the Sith Anakin Skywalker action figure #2 only packed with the flight headgear.

Unlike the other two Jedi Starfighter ships that are out there, there is no Jedi Military symbol (eight-spoke symbol, pre-empire snowflake) on the hull of this ship. It certainly wouldn't make sense for Anakin Skywalker now Darth Vader to infiltrate the Separatist stronghold unopposed in a fighter marked with the symbol of the Separatists' enemies than a ship marked for Jedi.
