INTRODUCTION
Swamp speeders are used by clone troopers to travel over soft, marshy terrain found on worlds such as Kashyyyk and Felucia. Propelled by a rear turbofan, the vehicle hovers above the ground, skimming over land that would hamper the movement of wheeled vehicles and walkers. These
two-person repulsorlift speeders have front-mounted twin laser cannons and provide infantry support to the
Republic's clone army.
The Republic Swamp Speeder is an all-new vehicle for the Hasbro toy line. This vehicle was designed for Star Wars: Revenge
of the Sith. What better way to seen this vehicle in all of its glory than in a toy? Though this vehicle is somewhat small it is nice to add to any collection.
Hasbro has incorporated four front rotating and pivoting firing missiles, rolling wheels to travel through the swamps and room to buckle in two clone troopers with foot pegs to spare to have other clone troopers hope on board for a ride.
When you buckle in your two clone troopers, be sure to sit them in there nice and snug before trying to attach the seat restraints. It can be a bit of a hassle to get them in there properly. I feel that the vehicle was designed for Clone Wars animated style figures but as you can see the movie versions will fit in there as well.
I think to make this vehicle worth the price that is it going for it should have included an additional action feature. What would this action feature
be? Well let me tell you what I think would be appropriate. When you roll the Swamp Speeder forward the engine turbine should rotate. Not really an exciting toy or vehicle but at least it is something new.
