INTRODUCTION
The Rebels defend their base on Hoth with every available weapon in the arsenal. They know they can't defeat the Imperial forces attacking them, but they need to delay them long enough to evacuate the base. Rebel troopers blast the enemy from laser towers that ring the base, and fire anti-vehicle cannons and medium repeating blasters at the Snowtroopers and AT-ST Walkers.

Once again Target gets the Hoth Laser Turret that many collectors have wanted more of since its original debut back in 2007 with the Battle of Hoth set. Using the same mold this turret is cleaner and opens up on the side for your Rebels to come out of. One Rebel can even fit in the top of turret and blast the Imperials with the firing laser.

The Anti-Vehicle Cannon or Radar Dish is an all-new piece. The side panels open up and with a push of a button it will fire the anti-vehicle missile. This version does not pop apart for exploding action but that is ok to take aim at those Imperials.

Three figures are included with this set. First off you get K-3P0 that is not just a repack but using the past years "Build-A-Droid" parts to make this doomed droid.

You also get two Hoth Rebel Soldiers. I for one love army builder figures and one of these heroic Hoth Soldiers is the missing clean shaven Hoth Rebel Soldier that was kick out of the line up back in 2009. Now I do not know what Hasbro is thinking when it comes to army builders. It seems for years they have NOT gotten it correct when it comes to providing troopers. Listen up Hasbro! As collectors we love generic army builders. That means clean-shaven everyday John Doe faces, NOT bearded, mustached or some other distinguishing facial features. For army builders we need plain faces so you do not have an army of facial distinguished troopers, they are not clones. Generic is the only way to go for building up the troops. If you want to give an army builder type figure specific features it should be a named character of put it into a battle pack or multi-figure type pack where fans do not have to get so many of once again a distinguished facial character. To sum up, the second Hoth Rebel Soldier in this pack is a slight repaint of the bearded Hoth Rebel Soldier from 2009 and this time with his lower coat (skirt).

Overall I think Target has gotten the best of the 2010 exclusives and this set defends with courage and pride in taking out the enemy that will be seen in the other guide, Attack on Hoth.
