Spice: I understand many times people tend to agree with my review of the greatest toy line ever to grace plastic. It's understood sometimes I fly off the handle about a rehash or twenty every year. Then every once in a while the people at Hasbro put out an amazing release like Yoda & Kybuck and you realize what got you back into collecting action figures the many years ago. First inspection of the superb cardback artwork isn't as breath taking as picking the figure up in your hand as it weighs quite a bit. As the latest pack-in to come with Jedi Master Yoda is completely off the chain.

Before I go off on how great the Kybuck is, let's talk a little bit about the Yoda figure. It seems he is much like a fine wine, the more they put him out the greater job they do with the details in the facial features. I can't say enough how cool the features and accessories are for this little guy. The handle / saber option is very cool. They even put access points into the back of the robe for the weapon, and even holes for his ears which I thought really helped the robe fit better. I also really enjoyed how the feet seemed to stay attached vs. some of the more inferior Revenge of the Sith molds did.

WHOAAA HASBRO, you must be losing a million shipping these beasts! Click thumbnail for large image
If that wasn't enough the big H really put this one over the top with the Kybuck. Just when we thought using horse-like creatures would be limited to the Ewok movies! Most collectors will be left scratching their heads wondering why this figure wasn't a deluxe with a higher price tag. The Kybuck is highly detailed, you can move the arms, legs, tail and head but the best part is it will stand up on two legs, even with Yoda on board. I thought for sure this would be a rough balancing act, but with very little trouble you can get a wide variety of poses.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Spice - There is just no denying the value of this figure. Hasbro did a wonderful job bringing the Clone Wars entities to life without the corny cartoon-like look the previous animated figures had. There is no doubt if they put this much effort into every release collectors would be much, much happier.

+   Super job on the figure, even better with the pack-in concept.
-   The paint job in the Kybuck eyes looks just a tad bit My Little Pony!
+   Super value opposed to sticking us for seven dollars for a quarter inch Yoda figure.
+    Keep bringing the Clone Wars to life, different is GOOD!
