Castle: Hasbro finally sees fit to give us some curved bar sections for our cantinas... unfortunately, it's not movie accurate (what is with Hasbro?) - but I guess we can't complain anymore. At least we can make the bar rounded now. Even if our aliens do have to sit instead of standing like they did in the movie. But what's this? The rounded bar piece that I've been waiting for since '98 or so actually comes with a figure? And it's a new figure, not some repainted or barely re-tooled crappy figure that Hasbro gave us 5 years ago? No way.

Well, yes way. M'iiyoom Onith is a H'nemthe (say that 3 times fast) and he's thirsty for some blue milk, or whatever those creatures drink. Does he even have a mouth? It's hard to tell. Anyway, Hasbro actually did an okay job with this guy, at least comparing it to the reference material that I have on him. Maybe not perfect - but again, what is? The sculpting on the head is pretty detailed, and the paint job is decent.

The only thing that kills me (once again) about this figure is some of the articulation: sure, Hasbro gave him the ball jointed knees that he needs to sit at the bar piece that he comes with (at least they were that smart) but the elbows go back to the stupid swivel action. And no ankle articulation? I can't understand why Hasbro doesn't just make ball jointed knees, ankles, elbows, and shoulders standard on all action figures released nowadays? Yeah, I know, it costs too much. But figures like this are clearly aimed at the collector, not the kids (since we are talking about toys that are seen in a bar, and come with a piece of said bar, not to mention drinking glasses).

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Castle - We finally get yet another accessory that the fans have been screaming for years for... a curved bar piece! Does this mean that Hasbro actually listens to us?

+ Another unproduced character that I can scratch off my list - down to only a few hundred.
-   Is it wise to release action figures and accessories that belong in a bar to the youth of today?
+ Another pack-in/accessory that fans have been waiting for and waiting for.
+ A solid sculpting job by someone other than the guy that sculpted Moisture Farmer Luke.
