A hot concept! Click thumbnail for large image
Spice: The hype of wave 2 from the T.A.C. collection centers around the second concept McQuarrie figure.  Although I've yet to unload on the Stormtrooper, I decided to hunt the hunter and focus on what is really hot. If you are one of the lucky who has stumbled across this one per case offering, you'll more than likely be more than enticed to purchase it. We can only rejoice it isn't the infamous Saga version that has been rehashed to death! Who wouldn't want a figure of Boba Fett when he was merely confined to a sketch book?

NOT a stick up unless you pay a scalper! Click thumbnail for large image
I can't ever remember a precedent being set as far as a figure including two different heads, but I think this is something that should be explored in the future. The Mandalorian supercommando suit that McQuarrie put through several different designs is really sculpted splendidly. They really did switch up the final product but I was really interested in not only the chest plate but the rocket pack as well.  The minor things like rank insignia, symbol on the back right shoulder really set the paint job off well. You can see quite a bit of work in the gauntlets and helmets. There is even some pretty intricate detail in the blaster.

More than a Ginsu knife! Click thumbnail for large image
If that were only it! This figure has more features than a Ginsu knife. You also receive an alternate helmet, which I could only guess was scrapped for being too similar to Vader? But wait Troopers, THERE IS MORE! You will also receive a flame to that fits quite nicely and I was further amazed you could actually get him into several poses with it jammed in his wrist. The only thing I really did not like was the abdomen. While the reveal was a nice idea, but mine seems to snap apart really easy. However the overall articulation was nothing short of incredible making this another slam dunk.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Spice - I really do like the Signature Series, it just really sucks that Hasbro seems to enjoy doing things like packing figures like this or the Stormtrooper (initially) one per case. Why would you do that initially? You would think they would have learned something the past ten years!

+   Incredible, dynamic avenue for Star Wars figures to take.
-   If they could put more than 1 per, the visual impact could go down.
+    FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!
+    A must have.
