Click thumbnail for large image Spice: Perhaps a certain highlight of wave three would have to be the Jawa & LIN Droid. The team at Hasbro hit a grand slam as they did their best to furnish us with a brand new Jawa. The cherry on the sundae for collectors could possibly be the LIN Droid which to this point has only been fabricated by collectors. Upon first inspection you'll see the amount of extras and detail they put into the translucent LIN Droid. It's all here, right down to some pretty impressive cardback art.

Click thumbnail for large image They didn't stop with the extra droid, they went all out on giving us a brand new Jawa. Gone are the light ports that once used to adorn the head of every modern day sculpt. It's pretty amazing to see a couple of dabs of nicely placed paint will do the job just as good. I did enjoy the "glowing" effect but I have to say not having the funny looking square on the top of the dome is certainly some serious upside. I really like the new-look vest that they also took the time to include, as this isn't your average Jawa.

Click thumbnail for large image The extra mile was once again taken as they made sure to include the accessory that was used to put some restraint on a rather jump R2-D2. You would almost thing this wasn't Hasbro behind this one as I was really taken back by the superior effort that has been exhibited here. There are some very flexible tools you can pose with the LIN and the Jawa... well he has the same amount of limited articluation any Jawa made has had up to this point. There wasn't anything that really made me think any changes were made to the over all design.

Spice - Overall who wouldn't want this? It's another character with just enough twist you can honestly call it new. I'm very impressed and hope they could stick with this sort of blue print in the future.
