Castle: Not to be outdone by his cantina drinking partner M'iiyoom Onith, Elis here also comes with a curved section of the cantina bar. Put the two sections together with some of the straight pieces that you undoubtedly have sitting around from all the other cantina action figures you've purchased over the years, and you'll have yourself one hell of a bar scene. Aren't these figures marketed towards kids Hasbro? That's what you've been saying for the longest time now... how can you feel good about exposing the youth of America to a bar scene?

The sculpting on this figure's head is great. Once again, the sculptors seem to have actually looked at some reference material (unlike some other figures released recently, a certain moisture farmer comes to mind immediately) and hit the nail on the head. Maybe not 100% accurate, but I'll give them credit. Sometimes it's hard to get all the details perfect on such a small scale. Sure, some of the untrained customizers out there do it on a daily basis, but they don't get paid for it or anything, so it doesn't count.

This figure seems to suffer from the same lacking articulation as his cantina counterpart - no ball jointed elbows/ankles. And that is (once again) my only real complaint about this guy. Sure he can sit at the bar, but he just looks... unnatural doing it. Although I guess that ball jointed ankles and elbows probably wouldn't help that too much, would they? Anyway, if you can find Elis here I would say buy him. Then again, with Hasbro's spotty distribution, good luck with that.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Castle - We get another curved bar piece to go along with the one from M'iiyoom to make the compete rounded end of the bar. But it's a bit too... tight ... to get Wuher's fat a$% into there, don't you think?

+  Another unproduced Alien (any charcter at this point) is always a positive over a repaint.
-   Spotty articulation takes him down a notch.
+  Way to go Hasbro, making the curved bar pieces is great for my Cantina.
-   Way to go Hasbro, introducing today's youth to the bar scene.
