Spice: The thirtieth anniversary collection has had some really sound choices for characters, with only a few minor duds. What Star Wars fan in their right mind wouldn't like to see one of the most notorious Bounty Hunters redone? The choice of 4-Lom is pretty solid because it's safe to say we've seen so many of Boba Fett in recent years. We haven't seen 4-LOM since the Power of the Force line and I'm not sure if the figure they offered back then was as slick as this. The package art is appealing enough but what would this new version have to offer?

The figure without a doubt pretty dull on the eyes as far as a paint job goes, but I truly appreciate the weathering scheme that is present throughout the entire body of the figure. Judging from the cardback photo you might think they could have put it on just a bit heavier. I would have liked to have seen a minor glazing done over the eyes as it seems like the dirt stops at the neck. It was also a real delight in seeing how nicely the blaster rifle fit in his hands. You could really fit the hand quite nicely along the barrel of the gun. It is just too often these things go out of the factory unable to hold the accessories.

Spare no expense on the guy who you saw for 8 seconds! Click thumbnail for large image
They must have had a great week at Hasbro because they spared no expense on articulation. This is one of the best figures I've seen this year in that respect. From head to toe you can move 4-LOM pretty much any way you'd like as I couldn't believe they didn't cheap out anywhere on this mold. Seeing as we only saw him for a few seconds in what was a frozen stance! This is what I call putting the action back in the action figure and they really should be applauded for that.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Spice - This one was a slam-dunk. There isn't anything I would complain about as I found even the ball and socket head works quite well. The team at Hasbro should watch it, I can't see having to re-tool this figure for anything ever again! This one could be an instant Saga Legend.

+   They went all out on the paint detail again!
+     I really liked the way the weapon fit in the hands, perfect engineering on the hands!
+    Now can we get Zuckuss and any of the others but Bossk and Fett?
