Spice: I nearly lost it when I saw another C-3PO slated for release in the Thirtieth Anniversary Collection. We constantly ask ourselves, why? Do we really need yet another C-3PO in our collections seeing as even with a  new Salacious Crumb pack-in we still probably own most of what is offered here? Who could ever forget that little pain in the rear (or in Threepio's case eye) Salacious Crumb? Although we haven't seen this little runt since the Power of the Jedi collection, perhaps it was time to revisit one of the most hated Star Wars puppets.

You know you always wanted to do the same to C-3PO! Click thumbnail for large image
However after you get the figure opened is when the true fun begins. The action feature with the moving eye is very, very cool. After a comparison to the PotJ Crumb, I notice the newer version not only is made to interact perfectly with this figure, it has articulation all over the place for various positioning. The previous versions were statuesque and offered little or no movement at all. The paint scheme was also appreciated as they remembered to include the green spew that Jabba slapped on our favorite protocol droid.

The only thing I really didn't like was pretty much unavoidable . As seen in the photo here, if you do opt to simply position the figure alone, there's no hiding the action feature hanging out of the back of his head. It's a little annoying but when you put the crumb figure back, it seems to go away! I guess if they are to continue to re-issue the same figures, this could be the best possible way to do so. Give the extra effort and something we've never seen before. It really helps justify the internal struggle of whether you need to buy it or not.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Spice - I put the thumb up because they did put extra effort into the Crumb and the action figure is pretty hilarious in itself.

+   Awesome action feature, very original concept.
-   This could be something they visit when they start running out good things not made.
+    Great to see so much put into a little guy, even a larger pot belly was added!
+    Makes a great addition to any Jabba the Hutt throne room diorama!
