Endor wave is hitting retail in mass quantities right now and chances are Moff
Jerjerrod is going to be among the crowd. The package design was once again a great look. As if you had forgotten who he was by chance, the background would cause you to recollect.
While you can clearly see the pieces of Admiral Veers
employed, this figure is a perfect form of acceptable rehashing. Collectors can't seem to get enough of the Empire, and as revealed at Comic-Con, there are big plans to bring all of Vader's hierarchy. In the mean time we get a character that has yet to be made. |

first thing I noticed was how fierce the facial expression was. If only he could
have looked half as confident when Lord Vader's shuttle arrived on the Death
Star! You can almost appreciate the Dwayne "Rock" Johnson eyebrow he
has going on. However I almost wish they would have went with a more surprised
look. "The Emperor is coming here?" or sort of an I just crapped my
trousers look would have been much more appropriate for the character. The
rolling elbows and wrists really work well for Officer poses. It's very easy to
have them standing attention, which for a man in his position a must. I also
appreciate the fact they did create the difference between the rank badges.
Admiral Veers had 8 vs. the six shown here. So they are thinking about detail! |

much as some collectors would like to see characters such as Commander Appo and
the like sooner, I think some of the Trilogy purists will love Jerjerrod finally
getting the credit he deserves. It makes me wonder how they have gone this long
without doing more of these. Without a doubt I'd rather have something like this
with some reused parts vs. another Chewbacca or core character I already own
plenty of. From head to toe they did make a few changes. The legs really stand
out due to the fact they didn't articulate the boots as they did with Veers. I'm
thinking it really didn't make that much of a difference but it was probably a
cost saving move. Another one could be the fact he has a blaster included but
not a holster as did Veers. |
FINAL
THOUGHTS:
 |
Spice -
I will again say I
would much rather something slightly altered, yet new to add to my
collection vs. characters that are released again and again. It definitely
adds to the variety and adds some much needed flavor to the wave. I
can say it's not the worst offering from the wave and it does have a
place in your collections. |

If you are going to reuse
