can only be the Star Wars universe where species that could be called such a
crazy name as Swokes Swokes could exist. The Tattooine marketplace was
filled with a wide variety of interesting characters, however who could ever
forget one of the many who attempted to put Jar Jar in his place. It's too bad
Gragra couldn't have put her axe to better use and spared us from being annoyed
for the rest of the film. I'm very happy Hasbro decided to go back and hit a few
of the Episode I figures who were haphazardly left behind. Gragra is no doubt
another breath of fresh air in an area where rehashing is so much of a common
practice. However the fancy wrapper with a glimpse of Anakin Skywalker can only
make you thankful we didn't get a rehash of "the chosen one"! |

really don't have much to go on besides a couple of minutes of screen time but
I really think they nailed the overall facial sculpt. While she may not be the
prettiest girl you could take out to the Mos Eisley Cantina for a drink, the
paint scheme does blend in quite well with the dress! You can really appreciate
the extra articulation that was added to the shoulders. This really helps you
create many different poses with the meat cleaver. There is even a great amount
of detail in the paint on the arm bands, and even wrinkles added to the apron.
You might have somewhat of a time getting the snack to hang correctly but when
you finally do it's not only really cool but somewhat rewarding to look at! Did you think they
could do so well with a street vendor? |

best part would have to be the jaw articulation that will allow you to have Jar
Jar get the scolding he so greatly deserved. This is the sort of thing that
really makes me happy to be a Star Wars collector. Going the extra mile to make
an average character flat out great. She stands up relatively well without the
stand and other than making the end of the rope a little more friendly with the
left hand, I do not see anywhere that they really dropped the ball. This seems
to be somewhat of a rough find at this current time on the American retail
front, another clear indication collectors would much rather have anything new
vs. the GB virus. |
FINAL
THOUGHTS:
 |
Spice -
It wasn't too hard to
put a thumb up to this one. Although Episode I was probably my least
favorite film, I will welcome any type of newer figures that I do not
currently own in my collection. I hope the people at Hasbro continue
to dazzle us with untapped characters. |

Super
paint job and heavy detail! |

I would have like to have
seen a little slobber added on the jaw line like Jabba. |
