Spice: It just seems like it simply can not happen enough. I have been baffled for months about the abrupt discontinuation of the Revenge of the Sith line when characters that were so very much desired by the Troopers were ignored. Thank the maker someone heard our cries and much like the A-Team if you can find him, you are in business. You might want to be careful you don't overlook him for a Utapau Clone Trooper, on first look they are very similar. With the wave hitting nation wide, Scorch and Cody will go fist-to-fist for the number one most wanted figure. I don't think I was as happy with Bly, Gree or Bacara who lacked the removable helmet feature, of course you have to crack the bubble to get that effect!

Can you smell what the Big H is cookin'? Click thumbnail for large image
J: I could give a downright sermon on how General Kenobi's one-time right-hand man, if done right, would amount to extra Hasbro shareholder profits at the end of the movie year.  A day late, but not a dollar short, the big H delivers with the most detailed, best painted, and well-proportioned clone (save the somewhat shrunken head) released to-date.  Small details and features like the scuffed boots, tampo-painted helmet, and razor thin backpack add up to give you what may very well be the best value for your seven dollars today.

I wish I woulda got the order before I gave his saber back! Click thumbnail for large image
Spice: There is no doubt in my mind they altered him just enough so you can see some vague differences between Cody and other Temuera Morrison head sculpts. I have to agree the minor head shrink was done out of sheer necessity, if it were any larger it would have altered the entire proportion of the figure. I have to simply admire all the detail that they poured in. From the rank badge to the removable backpack to what could have possibly stood out most in my mind was the bronze accents that are on the right bicep and on his back. The color scheme is simply beyond just about anything I can remember Hasbro kicking out. We wanted it, they delivered.

J: You get a memorable character and a well constructed figure with Commander Cody.  The articulation is more than adequate, with extras like wrist, the universal neck that we've had for about two years now, and the torso tilt abdomen.  Why couldn't the Episode II Jango's have a facial likeness this close Spice?  The detail applied to this figure's mold is impressive, with the helmet and antennas standing out.  The only area I can see lacking is accessories.  An interchangeable hand with Darth Sidious' hologram upon commencement of Order 66 is a no-brainer, and I guess if you want Obi-Wan's saber hilt, you can use the one included with the Obi-Wan in this very wave.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Spice - Perhaps if they did miss it was on the miniature Holographic Sidious hand-held projection or the ankle articulation, but there is no way in hell I could turn a thumb down to something this good. I guess they couldn't think of everything, and I have nothing against packing a lot of firepower. There is simply not enough you can say about Commander Cody, we deserve it every figure and every wave but until then we must take the victories when they do come. Until next time Troops!

J -  We have to agree on this one Spice.  Again, much like the Mustafar Anakin from last year, we see a featured character produced with much detail, functional accessories, and an overall impact that will hit you at that point of purchase.  You know Hasbro is a little late in rolling this one out when hear middle of the road fans asking "haven't they already done Cody?"  They've made him indeed, and sacrificed little in making a Revenge of the Sith figure collectors needed to lead their Clone battalions.

+    A great thing to have gone back to RotS for.
-    A mini-Sidious is greatly needed, just a little more would have been great.
+     Hasbro couldn't have packed more sheer detail into a 3-3/4" figure.
-    Backpack and head detach easily!
+     We asked, they delivered!
