Spice: If I told you how happy I was about Hasbro making the move from Revenge of the Sith figures back to Original Trilogy characters I'd be lying. Hardcore readers of Sandwatch action figure reviews know I'd never do that. When news of this line surfaced all I could say was "How could they"? I'm going to get Leia in Boushh disguise before I see Commander Cody? Who is making these decisions at the big H? I mean seriously Troopers, we as fans have been waiting since 1999 for one of these prequel movies to be incredible. We finally get one that is one of the bigger movies of the year and somehow the dopes at Hasbro manage to stick Han Solo down my throat again a year later. The new packages are very nice, but they didn't get away from using tape which is a very bad thing for us carded collectors. However with Leia Boushh I got way more than I bargained for, improvement on anything they have put out before.

Other than the very noticeable improvement to the head sculpt, they did an incredible job on the body and articulation all over. You can actually remove the detonator and store it on the belt or place it in her hand using the small peg. This is a drastic improvement over the Shadows of the Empire or any other version to date. The color scheme blends quite well and the only other thing I could have asked for is a tad bit more weathering on the costume. Her weapon was also redone and has been made exactly to scale. Another improvement versus the older molds.

This is hands down the greatest version of this action figure ever made. The added articulation in the shoulders and knees help create a variety of all new poses. The thing that stands out in my mind the most is standing next to Chewbacca it looks very, very accurate. The downside to this is the arms seem to fall off very easy, and if this were actually opened by a child I'd wager they'd lose that detonator in record time. The thing is I thought I'd really struggle to find good things to say but I really have a hard time finding bad things.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Spice - While I am cringing at the thought of going back to Trilogy characters I am can be swayed to point my thumb up if they are redone to near perfection as we have seen here. Based on many improvements the first Saga figure gets a thumbs up!

+    The helmet is perfect.
-    The eyes on this one were crooked, hope this isn't a universal problem.
+     The best yet!
-    Still far too soon to be seeing Return of the Jedi!
