guess I was just simply too nice in the review of Boushh. While there are
characters, even from the Pit of Carkoon scene that have not been made, we get
this. You guessed it, Han Solo with Carbonite is back, and I don't think it's too
cool. First of all, was the Power of the Force version so bad? I realize they did
a bit of retooling to the figure but for a higher price, is this really worth
it? A fancy wrapper and a little more plastic? You've got to be kidding me.
Don't they realize there are so many other logical choices? I won't take the
time to rattle them off, let's take a good look at what we got here. |

simply going to point out what I did like here, or what is new in this release.
For the most part it would have to be the Carbonite Block. Does the figure fit
inside of it? No. Other than the new orange "melting" effect added in
there isn't really that much of a difference vs. the Power of the Force mold. So
for seven dollars you are getting a little bit more orange and blue plastic.
Yes, you also get a newer sculpt with the figure but seriously I just can't seem
to find any purpose to why this figure was put into production. You can find a
red or green card at any trade show for five dollars, but for some reason we
need a new black card with a picture of a skiff on it. |

figure itself leaves something to be desired as well. For whatever reason the
ball and socket head does horribly here. The line between the head and neck
stands out terribly. They did slap a little bit of weathering on the shirt, but
we have the rolling elbows instead of ones that simply bend. I would think if
you remade something, you would improve it. The arms falling off while just
trying to get a different pose is not an improvement. I realize Han didn't sit
down too much in this outfit, but again if you remake it go all out, make the
knees bend! I wouldn't take all of this for a slightly improved facial sculpt. |
FINAL
THOUGHTS:

Spice -
I just don't see the
point to this. There are many other choices that collectors would
rather see, Han Solo is one I'm sure we could all do without for quite
awhile. There just isn't enough here to really have anything positive
to say other than it's a Star Wars figure. |

There isn't anyone
