2 YES 2 completely new figures! Click thumbnail for large image
Spice: This is something they should do instead of rehash figures. Make a character that you do not already own. The worst it can do is add character to the hundreds of figures that adorn your walls or shelves. Yarua is one of the thousands of Episode I characters that was neglected and Hasbro rushed to cram Original Trilogy figures back down our throats. They didn't do this with the OTC Collection but even back to the Episode II Saga Collection. For some reason they don't think collectors are interested in the Prequels.

You almost take this for a vintage Chewbacca mold. Yarua is a little older and wiser judging from the gray hair blended into his coat. I'm still trying to figure out this rectangular goatee. Once again they went to the trouble of putting articulation into the elbows, head, neck and waist but the budget fell short at the knees. Is it too much to ask to go that extra mile and make it perfect? A little into the knees and shoulder joints and we'd have one excellent Wookie. I'm still wondering how they will make these creatures look different. Although Yarua only had one line, I'd rather have this than another Trilogy character I own twelve of already.

Why does it only come with a purse? Click thumbnail for large image
It's not the worst thing, it's not the best thing. I just think it could include a little more than a purse. Any intergalactic politician would have to pack a blaster! You should be careful when removing the Bandolier, most I have seen have been wedged in nicely between the head and shoulder. I could see where it'd be real easy to break it. Other than being able to turn side-to-side and sway his arms back and forth there isn't too much Yarua can do movement wise. If super articulated is the answer, I guess that is the way most collector's would like to have them. Star Wars collectors deserve the highest quality, we re-invented the way action figures are made and sold.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Spice - Yarua or Han Solo? Another walking carpet or Darth Vader with the cloth cape for the fifth time in three years? I'm sure we'll all take the Wookie with the price increase. I have to give it a thumbs up just for the fact I don't already have ten of it. I guess I'm still in shock from the OTC debacle. Until Next time Troops!

+     It's still a whole new character, as bad as most of us think Episode I was
-     They could have put articulation in the knees and shoulders to make it better.
-     Why can't it come with more than a purse?
+     Two new figures in a row, my Dewback just passed out!
