could never have been a better time to be collecting Star Wars figures. If you
didn't pull the plug after the OTC debacle, you'd be glad to see Hasbro
Threepeat in 2005 and deliver Sly Moore for the third installment in the
Post-OTC line. The most attractive lady I've ever seen? No, but I would much
rather see Sly Moore than Princess Leia. I really think they sold the Episode I
movie short by rushing back to Original Trilogy figures in the Power of the Jedi
line. I really do like the packaging backgrounds they are using on the cards.
This makes keeping figures on card that much more appealing. |

really don't know how they come about creating the various aliens and species in
the Star Wars Universe, but they must have needed ugly women. I haven't seen a
bald lady this ugly since Sinead O' Conner in the early 90's. Sly Moore's head
resembles an Easter Egg, the pencil neck. I don't know there is something about
her cloak that reminds me of the horrible outfit Kurt Warner's wife had on a few
years back in the Super Bowl. The ball and socket really help you accentuate the
odd head movements. While I know I'd never go lady chasing on Umbara, I just
wish we could get a little more back story on the various characters and events
that shape the Star Wars Universe. |

the legs do not move I do appreciate the articulation in the arms and elbows.
Being able to turn the wrists and move the arms in various positions are a big
plus. Seeing as this character had no dialogue, appearance and movement or lack
of in some cases, is everything. She isn't the prettiest thing to look at but
will help add to your next Episode I diorama you wanted to create. I really
wish they would have continued with the Episode I figure line, there are still
many characters worth creating. |

THOUGHTS:

Spice -
I'm really glad 2005
is moving in such a positive direction. Sly Moore along with Yarua
will help add a little flavor to your Episode I Coruscant scenes. For
all of you carded collectors, you'll be happy your not buying another
R2-D2. I think all of us would much rather have something we never
seen before. Sly Moore makes the grade, I'd highly recommend adding
her to your collections. Bottom line, nothing compares 2 nu! |
