is a true lift to come out of the OTC funk to see figure after figure completely
new. Rabe is no exception to the rule. I truly enjoy this style of packaging,
even though it's discontinued as of April 2nd. The loyal Queen Amidala
handmaiden is just another breath of fresh air, while Hasbro is preparing the
ultimate onslaught with the Revenge of the Sith figure line. Packed up with a
blaster and only a base, most certainly a welcome addition to the Episode I
figure collection. Once you look past her outfit giving Joseph and his
Technicolor Dreamcoat a run for his money, you will be able to find a multitude
of purposes for this figure. |

guess the one thing you could say isn't done right is the face. The Queen better
hope she isn't standing in for her, even a Battle Droid would know to aim for
the pretty one. How do you make an action figure pretty? I don't know but I know
this one is most definitely one of the ugliest female figures made. Rabe could
give Aurra Sing a run for her money. She is pale as a ghost and you would think
a eight year-old kid did the make up. While this figure doesn't have much pose abilities,
it seems they did just enough to keep it from being another block of plastic. I
do like the base packed in, even though she doesn't have a hard time standing on
her own. |

great thing is Rabe is most likely will not be a pegwarmer. Due to the fact you
could make some simple paint modifications you could realistically look at
buying more than one. Who would want their Queen Amidala to have a bad hair day?
More than one handmaiden would really help that Queen's Royal Starship set-up
you have. I'm most certain a blaster is better accessory than the "Globe of
Peace", and besides what else could you give her? A hairbrush? How could we
call it an action figure and not a doll? I can honestly say I'm happier with
this than I was the Queen Amidala Ceremony figure even though they may have
copied her outfit from the Fruit Stripe Gum wrapper. |
FINAL
THOUGHTS:
 |
Spice -
Keep it up Hasbro,
and I'll keep my thumb up. New figures is what we all want to see.
While this figure does not have the greatest of quality, it serves the
purpose and is better than killing us with more Trilogy rehashes.
Thumbs Up for Rabe. |

I
think there is a lot more they could offer us from Episode I, keep
them coming! |

The face could have
been better than this. |
| - |
Why name her? Just
give us a basic Handmaiden and put out a 6-pack like G.I. Joe. |

Five
all new figures? With last quarter reported as low profit, don't look
for this again. |
