Spice: The only thing I can really question is why only give us a few Episode I figures now? Is kicking us a few figures acknowledgement that they should have continued further into this line? The OTC package brings to life what was cut short. With Episode I only having 50 basic figures, only a few were made in the lines that followed. I understand we all have quite a few Queen Amidala figures in our collections but a character such as this did have multiple wardrobe changes. I guess what I'm saying it is a good thing they are continuing the trend of all new figures.

They did a wonderful job on not only the facial features but the hairstyle as well. The ball and socket neck is excellent, other than potential head loss I think this could be the best way to make action figures. You do get the one pose wonder here, although she does have a few added points of movement. This helps all you diorama builders out there. She can pass of the Globe of Peace to Boss Nass or hold out her hand to young Anakin Skywalker. You get the point, they stepped it up from Saga Luminara Unduli! Although I don't think you really could make a fully poseable version with a dress of this porportion.

What do you do with a Globe of Peace? Why do I have dots like Bozo on my face? Click thumbnail for large image
I guess it's hard to say if collectors would have been happier with more Episode I figures. I can only speculate that we'd rather had this set follow the first four OTC figures. It took over twenty years to create the Princess Leia in her ANH award presentation dress. I'm glad they are finding ways to have the films have similarities. I understand the medal concept in the Original Star Wars, but I really can't fathom what you would do with a Globe of Peace.  I can't think of anything else that would be nice throw in so you can't really say this figure needed more.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Spice - Maybe it's the lingering effects of the OTC line, but as long as they're new, I'm liking them. It doesn't bother me which movie they are from as long as it's new products and sculpts. I understand they have to make money, they have to understand we are paying the money they make. Thumbs up, how long can this last?

+     I think there is a lot more they could offer us from Episode I
-     I think there is too much white, can you really celebrate wearing all white?
-     They could have given something better from EI, new is still good however!
+     Four new figures in a row, my Dewback just passed out!
