It might be safe to say out of the
first eight figures in wave one, none of them tower over the Tri-Droid. This
might not be evident the minute you pick up the package, but they did manage to
cram a nifty Tripodal attack Droid under that bubble, since they didn't hinder
us with any accessories or additional weapons. I'm not quite sure what I'd like
packed in but it just seems like they could come up with something since the
stand is pretty much worthless other than a name tag. That's not to say this
isn't a pleasant surprise, and someone has to cover those worthless Battle
Droids! |

of the first things mentioned on the back of the package is the versatility of
this combat dream come true. This is something we just don't see enough of in an
action figure these days, action! You can move or aim the three cannons at
various positions, which would be a major plus for multiple targets. It might
even be possible this is where the Separatists got a great idea to outfit one of
the larger models with super turbo lasers with enough firepower to disintegrate
a planet? At any rate, I really do like the fact the blasters they did include,
much like the rest of the figure are a bit flimsy but seem to get the job done. |

other great thing is the way you can take the legs off and position the Droid to
new heights. The Techno Union did not let us down, and neither did Hasbro. Even
though the legs are a bit flimsy, the articulation on the feet allow you to make
it stand pretty easy. It would be safe to say most army builders will require
at least a half dozen. The option of high or low ground makes for interesting
display, and even greater play value. Therefore we can hope they will see they can
satisfy both collector or a child who might play with it. |

The paintjob and swivel feature really sets this one off quite nice.
This is the type of quality we'd hope to see in every action figure,
but there is no doubt they knocked it out of the park on this one. Now
if they could only get Battle Droids to stand so well! |

The
legs seem flimsy but it does stand in a variety of attack positions. |
