Sandwatch Guides: Republic Swamp Speeder
NEW? Is this from Hasbro?!We update our Sandwatch Guides the Republic Swamp Speeder as we finally get another new vehicle in this assortment! It's good to say they knocked this one out of the park as you can fit both animated and any of your other Clone Troopers too. How great is this one? I nearly had to dispatch some of our Southern S.C.A.L.P. Brigade to check on Sithmaster-C's vitals after he found this in stores a couple of weeks ago! For more check out the latest photos and summary. Thanks again to Boba Binks for keeping it hovered above the dirtiest scum in the swamp!

Hasbro Q & A: Falling Back in Line!
Latest Q&A from HasbroWe are happy to report we've received our latest round of questions from Hasbro after a slight delay. We did get some good news from the remnants we discovered in a crashed escape pod. All kidding aside, we are delighted to pick up with this feature and thank Hasbro for doing this for what is closing in on five years! Without further ado... What is the deal with the different "Mail-in redemption forms"? In particular, why there one for Sgt Bric with Battle Mat? Also in the name of going green, we ask if Hasbro has considered the possibility of offering figures in heat sealed polybags instead of all the plastic and cardboard that they are released in now? We encourage you to log-in to the forums and check out what they had to say. Do you have a question for the Hasbro Q & A Team? Log-in and leave your question in the forums.

Sandwatch Sneak Peek: More shots of AT-RT with ARF Trooper Boil!
Use your third leg!Our S.C.A.L.P. Intelligence has delivered even more photos of the new AT-RT with ARF Trooper Boil. Sandtrooper Phenix Reports: Hasbro is 10 of 10!
GOOD job Hasbro!"After years of getting damaged exclusive mail away figures, I really wanted my Fett figures to be as mint as they could be so I sent along a letter with my POP's for 10 fett figs asking to please ship them in the case they come in and wow, they hooked it up! I even called them and the lady on the phone said they couldn't send them in the original shipping box so it was a huge suprise to get this in today... WOOT! I also asked how many came in a case which is another reason I saved up for 10 of them as my best guess was that there'd have been 10 or 12 per case, but they woudn't tell me but as you can see on the box there are 20 per case. Thanks Hasbro, YOU Rock!"

Sandtrooper Young George Lucas Reports: Own the Real Deal!
Goin Old School!"Hey, folks. Young Gorge Lucas reporting in from the Kansas City area. I saw in the news today that Christie's Auction House in London is auctioning off a Darth Vader costume next month. It is a suit used for the filming of...drumroll please...."The Empire Strikes Back"! The article said it is expected to go for between $250,000 and $365,000 and goes up for auction November 25. I can't imagine owning something like that, but I'd sure like to. It also said it's for sale from "a private American collector" -- is it the one Steve Sansweet has, or had?"

Sandtrooper Young George Lucas Reports:
Goin Old School!"Hey, folks. Young George Lucas reporting from the Kansas City area. It may have been a dark time for the rebellion, but for STAR WARS collectors, the 30th anniversary year of "Empire" has been pretty good so far. Yesterday I went to Target and they had the new "vintage" Snowspeeder---what a great toy in awesome '80's retro packaging! I had to get that--- but passed on the TIE fighter. At TRU I found the AT-AT in both regular packaging and the incredible vintage Kenner box! Wow! Also, TR'U had lots of the "Vintage Collection" waves, and I found the Sandtrooper on the new revised card. Plus, this week had the release of the massive "Making of The Empire Strikes Back"! I must say that with all this cool stuff, the thing I'm most looking forward to is eFX's upcoming "A New Hope" Darth Vader helmet. I would gladly sell a kidney for that thing! Have a quality day."

Sandwatch Guides: Gentle Giant PGM Blue Snaggletooth Statue
Suck a few more back!We update our Sandwatch Guides with one of the most nostalgic collectibles we have seen from Gentle Giant in recent years. It is no secret that the Blue Snaggletooth holds a special place in the hearts of collectors, they no doubt delivered on a large scale when it comes to paying "true homage" to the Mos Eisley Icon. With a drink in one hand and a blaster pistol in the other and an edition size of 400 pieces make this a very attractive piece to add to your collection. For more check out the latest photos and summary. Thanks again to Boba Binks for pounding down another one! United We Find.

Sandwatch Live: Not your Average Review!
Today we are taking a break from our regularly scheduled action figure reviews or event coverage, and I regret there will be no "special guests" or disguises either. A YouTube private message encouraged me to share a special part of my Star Wars collection with our readers, since I am indeed not sixty! Since 2002 I've gotten many signatures on my infamous "dirty shirt" along with tens of carded action figures that have once again given me the reminder it's once again time to dust. It has been an incredible journey and these are just a few of the items I've managed to have signed along the way!

Sandwatch Guides: 2010 Vintage Wave II
The second wave of 2010 Vintage has been showing up at every major retail chain and many online retailers the past few weeks. Even though we've seen many of these figures time and time again, there have been some significant changes made, perhaps not enough to warrant the price tag that is closer to ten dollars each. It is very cool they gave us another crack at the Sandtrooper that was featured with the 2009 Legacy Collection Deweback, even though it's the lone representive from A New Hope! Thanks again to Boba Binks for wiping them out, ALL of them. Click below to see the entire wave.

Sandtrooper Spotlight: Staying Real with It!
Great work Rodan! We have a Sandtrooper Spotlight today of a sweet custom paintjob of Luke Skywalker's Snowspeeder. It wasn't like the look was that bad straight out of the factory but Rodan did a great job of making the vehicle look much more realistic. I shudder to think of what he could do to an AT-AT!
