Our Sandtrooper team of Jimsjedi and our S.C.A.L.P. Weapons Supplier have produced yet another weapon for our Sandtrooper arsenal. Since it has been thirty years you can imagine quite a few people who worked on the films have passed on. We decided to compile a list of those who have become one with the force on a tribute page we have titled Roll Call. We hope some of you Troopers can sound off in the thread we created so you can share some of your experiences you had with the fallen. |

Our Sandwatch menu is updated tonight with a little blast from the past from Episode III Revenge of the Sith. One of the more popular small vehicles had to be the Wookiee Flyer that was seen in the battle scene on Kashyyk. However this tiny chopper wasn't long for life on the shelf as it's one of the more scarce pieces from the Episode III line. Thanks again to Boba Binks for providing this in-depth look. Did you know THQ Wireless has released over 700 Star Wars games! This is what pocketgamer.co.uk is stating. The hunt is on if this is true. Up next for THQ Wireless is the Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back mobile game. Just by looking at the screen shots this is better than the Super Nintendo version. Obviously most phone today can push better graphics than the Super NES. Let's hope the game play is better too, rather than a game that is hashed together just to sell to fans. Go over to pocketgamer.co.uk to read more details. You can also download two other games in release directly from THQ Wireless, SW: Lego & SW: Lego II. |

There is a rumor going around that BioWare's next MMO might be a Star Wars game. Nothing substantial, but the RPG is centered around Knights of the Old Republic. KOTOR was developed by BioWare in 2003. Electronic Arts recently bought BioWare and developed the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. This mix of KOTOR and MMO might be the one that helps Star Wars branded video games. Aside from the Lego series, KOTOR series, Rouge Squadron series, and Republic Commando, Star Wars games have been known to be bombs for non-Star Wars video gaming fans. See Star Wars: Super Bombad Racing & Star Wars: Master of Teras Kasi for reference. Galaxies did not bring in the video gaming community like the other four. Check out more of the rumors here at primotechnology.com. Stop by the forums and give your opinion. |

The latest mini-bust to hit the street from Gentle Giant is the Jawa 2-pack. You can guess it's a good thing they packed these little guys two deep, because I couldn't see paying over sixty dollars with shipping for one tiny Jawa! Troopers can look to score these at about any of our great sponsors but don't hesitate to pull the trigger. With an edition size of 7000 you can guess this one won't be around long. |

Our S.C.A.L.P. Weapons Supplier has been hard at work innovating a new look for the Sandtroopers / theJawa.com community forums. The look is a little bit easier on the eyes, and reminds us all of the sand that connects the two websites. We look forward to the brighter future that is the new community and apoligize for the lack of progress on the Sandcrawler, I can assure you we haven't forgot about it. Check out our new ranks for the S.C.A.L.P. Elite as we have opened up most of the boards for public view so more recruits can look before they enlist. The Official Site updates tonight with news of a sequel to the "Darth Bane: Path of Destruction" novel by Drew Karpyshyn, due out later this year. Here's the synopsis:Now Darth Bane is ready to put his policy into action, and he thinks he has found the key element that will make his triumph complete: a student to train in the ways of the dark side. Though she is young, Zannah possesses an instinctive link to the dark side that rivals his own. With his guidance, she will become essential in his quest to destroy the Jedi and dominate the galaxy. There is one who is determined to stop Darth Bane: Johun Othone, Padawan to Jedi Master Lord Hoth, who died at Bane's hands in the last great Sith War. Though the rest of the Jedi scoff at him, Johun's belief that there are surviving Sith on the loose is unshakeable. As Johun continues his dogged pursuit of the man who killed his master, Zannah, faced unexpectedly with a figure from her past, begins to question her embrace of the dark side. And Darth Bane is led by Force-induced visions to a moon where he will acquire astonishing new knowledge and power -- power that will alter him in ways he could never have imagined. |

In the world of sci-fi geekery, there are few things more recognizable than the skin-tight suits Jeri Ryan wore as Seven of Nine in the series 'Star Trek: Voyager'. One of those other icons is the X-Wing fighter from Star Wars, with its distinctive crossed S-Foils. Many fans have wanted one of their own, coming no closer than some toy or model, but Andy Worner and a team of friends from Polecat Aerospace have come about as close to real-life as you can expect: They built a 21-foot rocket-powered model of the ship. And it really flies. Well, they think it'll really fly, at least. Its maiden voyage is set for next week, October 10. Read more about this here. |
Burglars have stolen a collection of 60 miniature Vintage Star Wars figures worth over £10,000 at a Dorset home. The toys, from the first Star Wars trilogy, were collected over a 20-year period and were still contained in their original packaging. Thieves stole the action figures last month when they ransacked a house in Lower Parkstone, Poole. Det Con Scott Brimicombe, of Poole CID, believed the collection was stolen to order. "I suspect the thieves knew what they were going to steal as the collection of 60 boxed Star Wars figures are very collectible and valuable," he said. Read the full story here. |
