Mos Eisley News Brief: The Force No Longer with Us?
The Critics can stick it?There was a recent column in the Eagletribune.com that I think might really hit home with a lot of fans. With a high level of anticipation for The Clone Wars, one might think people would still be talking about it in more of a positive light. Sadly, the film will go down without a doubt as the worst ever. As noisy as the hype was surrounding the film, the silence in the wake of its departure is more than an overcast vs. oversight. With the first episode being shown at Dragon-Con in Atlanta this weekend, we can only hope it the only way to go from here is up? For more check out the review. Don't forget to stop by our community forums to share your thoughts with other Troopers and give us your take! United We Find.

Just one junk Annie? What gives? We have just received a boxed image of a new Battlepack from Hasbro. The Clone Wars gave us many new battles, but now we get to help our action figures live them. With several pieces any collector would want to add to his or her collection, they are really doing some good things for this animated line that many of us were originally pretty sour on. Sandwatch Guides: Droid Factory
What does it take? About sixty dollars! Our guides have been reloaded with the initial Droid Factory wave from Hasbro. The six Wal-Mart exclusive two-packs sold for $9.96 making it somewhat expensive to build C-3PX, the first ever build-a-droid figure. It wouldn't be so hard to swallow if you didn't own nearly every one already in some way, shape or form. For more check out the photos and summary of all six sets that you might be so lucky to find on a clearance rack near you!

Sandwatch Guides: Darth Vader .45 Scale mini-helmet
At Radio Shack!?!Our guides have been reloaded with another of the economy friendly .45 scale mini-helmets from Master Replicas. The Darth Vader helmet was exclusive to Radio Shack stores and that may have been part of the problem as these were found on clearance in late June by one of our forum members. Who would think of Radio Shack to look for Star Wars collectibles? It is hard to imagine these being on clearance as the motion activated piece quotes eight different lines directly from the movie! For more check out the photos and summary that has everything but the sound clips. Thanks again to Boba Binks and Starfox for another great job!

While the movie theater wasn't sold-out, it was by far greater than anything I could have expected. Please try to be spoiler sensitive for those Troopers who have not taken in Clone Wars or take it to the appropriate spoiler thread for blowing the lid off the entire plot!

In classic Hasbro fashion, we’ll be seeing this eye-popping puzzle even though it is readily available at Amazon.com or any other online giant. We can however confirm this will be making a comeback in the new Legacy Collection packaging but what is not known is if they made any changes to the previous puzzle that was released during Revenge of the Sith. Sandtrooper Dennis Reports:
24/7 S.C.A.L.P. Trooper“Hey Troops, here's my store report for August. Wal-Mart in Antioch, IL is stocked with Clone Wars & Saga Legends while the Wal-Mart in Waukegan, IL had Clone Wars & Legacy wave 1. Target in Gurnee, IL has Legacy wave 1 while the Target in Waukegan, IL has Legacy wave 2. Both Targets have the basic figures for $6.99 instead of $7.99. The Gurnee Toys R Us restocked the new Falcons but the bad news is that the figure pegs at the display are now stocked with backpacks instead of new figures. That's all for now. Later.”

New Clone Wars Video on StarWars.com!
New Clone Wars Video on StarWars.com!In less than two weeks, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be on the big screens, and I'm sure most Star Wars fans will be lined up at theaters to see this. The Official Site has just released another video clip from Clone Wars, and instead of it being about the clones, Anakin or Obi-Wan, it's all about Anakin's new padawan... Ahsoka. You'll want to set your navi-computer to this site, and check it out for yourself. August 15th can't get here soon enough.

S.C.A.L.P. Weapons SupplierIf you weren't successful in snagging up one of those free holographic General Grievous figures at your local Toys 'R Us during last week's Midnight Madness, make sure you stop there because they might be in stock. I was lucky enough to score one this morning, since they had run out of them in the first 15 minutes after Midnight Madness started. There were about twenty of them on the pegs, and all were in great condition for all you MOMC collectors. Sadly though, there weren't many new figures on the pegs, but luckily I got everything I wanted last week. I was hoping to pick up their B-Wing Fighter like others in the forum have done, but since they didn't have any I bought Obi-Wan Kenobi's starfighter with the hyperspace ring. Hopefully you'll have the same luck I did, or should I say the Force was strong with me? United We Find!
