Update from Sideshow Collectibles: Look Sir, Droids- NOW on Sale!
The polystone Sandtrooper mini diorama Look Sir, Droids is now on sale. For what seems to be a nice new approach to collecting, small enough not to take up that much space, I must say we're a little biased around here but I doubt they'll be around long! "The diorama captures the critical moment when the sandtroopers realize that they are hunting for two droids that escaped detection aboard the escape pod. Each piece is cast in high quality polystone, hand-finished, and hand-painted to exacting standards."

SDCC Exclusives Kirko Glass ware from Kotobukiya
Glass with class! Our S.C.A.L.P. Intel Sources dropped a line to Sandtroopers about their new Kirko glassware SDCC exclusives: Please let me explain that currently, Kotobukiya is only releasing the glasses at conventions in the USA . Will this change in the future? Maybe, but not immediately (and likely never for Europe ). None of the glasses have a set edition size, so we may make more of the designs in the future. Due to the complexity in making the glasses, it is very time consuming and it makes it difficult for us to make a large volume available. Each glass is a large wiskey style glass. The R2 glasses are 10 oz, and the C-3PO is a more slender piece (reflecting his body type more accurately) and holds 9oz. These are large, high quality, glasses, and not tiny shotglasses. Each glass will retail for $50.00 and can be found exclusively at the Kotobukiya booth (#921). Here are the C-3PO and R4-P17 previews.

No, not the X-Wing version that is warming the pegs from the second wave isn't what fans were craving at all. However they did hear our cries and made a new Biggs Darklighter and the only thing they forgot was peer pressure to join the Rebellion. Was this one high on your target list? Electronic R2-D2: These items are so inventive and cool we just had to list them. Nikko in Japan will be producing some very, very expensive electronics including the 1/2 Scale R2-D2 DVD Projector with many other functions at $4999.99 and the R2-D2 1/5 Scale Wireless Webcam with other functions at $799.99. If you've recently won the lottery, take a look here.

Star Wars Transformers – Death Star: This is the biggest SW-TF figure ever made, the Death Star transforms into a large scale Darth Vader figure. We've just listed a preorder at $53.99 and expect this figure to arrive in September.

Bruce Lee: This figure is extremely detailed and very lifelike. The top of his head is magnetically attached and you can even rotate his eyeballs in the socket to give a variety of different looks. The box is super-deluxe and the figure is as good as it gets. Quality like this comes with a price, and in this case that price is $329.99!

G.I. Joe: The single packed Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow 25th figures are now in stock in limited quantities. The rest of our single pack figure order should be arriving over the next few weeks. More 5-packs arrived and immediately sold out, but backorders are now open and should fill relatively soon - don't miss out on one of the most popular items of the year.

Transformers: Our suppliers in Japan have just confirmed that our full shipments of Music Label Soundwave MP3 Players and Frenzy & Rumble Earphones will be arriving around July 25th! We have a limited number of preorders remaining.
