Fellow staff member Sandtrooper Dan (aka Amanaman Dan) was the talk of the town when he showed up at Celebration III with his Outlander Club diorama back in late April. Thousands of Star Wars fans crowded around his diorama, and all were stunned at how realistic and authentic it looked! If you didn't get to see it in person now is your chance to see it! We've put together a page for you that shows over 90 images of his diorama, and Dan even wrote up a great article about his experience building this absolutely incredible diorama! Fellow staff member starfox attended the Austin Collector's Expo in Texas today, and has returned with lots of pictures and a great story to go with them. The show had several dealers who were selling Star Wars collectibles at unrealistic prices, but Dave was lucky enough to score a nice Gentle Giant Greedo bust for only five dollars! Talk about the steal of a lifetime! Check out his full coverage of the show 
LucasArts has recently released the first video trailer for the upcoming game "Empire at War." If you think you've played some great Star Wars video games in the past, just wait until you take command of your empire in this game! The graphics look absolutely intense, and you can lead your forces into battle on the ground and up in space. One of the best features of this game is the ability to use the Death Star to obliterate the Rebellion (if you decide to play as the Empire). This game will be available sometime in February next year, but you can pre-order this now at 
Hey Troopers, I wanted to let you know that we have received more customs images from Commander JediSearch (sixteen images to be exact!), and his page has now been updated with those images. His three new customs involve a Clone Pilot and two different Clone Troopers. The Clone Pilot has been assigned the name of Lt. Sea Serpen, one Clone Trooper has been named Commander JediSearch (go figure!), and the other has been named Corporal SureShot. You can check out his updated customs page

She said it looked like Target had reset their shelves for the new season. It seems she is always able to find me new stuff when I can't. Thanks Barb. The final book of the Dark Nest trilogy, "The Swarm War," shows just how powerful Luke Skywalker really is, and that he is truly the most power Jedi Master in the galaxy. Hasbro, the toy manufacturer behind Star Wars collectibles, has reported Monday that its second-quarter profit jumped 56%, and international business numbers rose 61% to $4.5 million. Things seem to be looking pretty good for the second-largest toymaker. Read the full story 
"DarthPharaoh reporting in. Finally, some signs of life and some good news. First, TRU had the Wave 1 Mpire figures and the newest Unleashed figures, which I don`t collect but they did look pretty cool. KB Toys had the 500th Vader in and Wave 1 of Mpire figures as well but that`s where my news got good. The manager was just finishing putting up the Mpire figures and I asked him about why their stock was so limited on the basic figures (almost nothing left for nearly a month). He told me KB had under-ordered based on the disappointing sales from Episodes I and II, but that on the 29th they were supposed to be totally restocking all the basic figures and that included ALL the new waves through #56. So I know where I`ll be that morning since I`d already requested it off for my B-day weekend. Anyone in NE Atlanta area may want to be near their local KB that morning as well. United we find and death to all scalpers!!!"
I have been on foot patrol lately and the pickings are very slim. I hit up Kmart in Zion, IL and found the Evolutions Anakin Pack. This is a very cool concept and I couldn't wait to start picking these up when we first saw them back at CIII in April. Other than that the new figure front has been quiet, too quiet. Everywhere you go there is less and less from the earlier waves, I finally got myself caught up and am looking forward to finishing off the list of things I didn't pick up April 2nd. I have also been very busy assembling my Sandtrooper Armor kit and trying to acquire all the remaining pieces with Wizard World only a few weeks away. I'm looking forward to a great weekend of good times and unity. Stay tuned to ST this week for news concerning Wizard World Chicago and Sandblast 2005, which is about to jump off and re-set the bar and give a new meaning to the word giveaway!
