“Well I have been looking for the EVO, Jumptrooper, Black Shadow Guard and Damaged Vader for months and never saw any. Today at lunch I went to Wal-Mart and there on the side of an Incredible Hulk end cap and not even with the Star Wars stuff was 8 pegs of the force unleashed figures. I found the Shadow Guard, EVO, Jumptrooper and Vader and went to the register happy to plunk my $30 bucks down. The lady rang them up and said that’ll be $10.90 they rang up at $2.50 each! I made a beeline back to toys to get more. The tags on the shelf said $6.63 but they rang up at $2.50, I went to the Star Wars section and got a figure there and scanned it and they were full price, so it was weird but I’m very happy.”

You might want to do a little extra recon and hope you reap the benefit of negligent employees on that next toy run. Thanks to forum member Napseeker who tipped us off. Sandwatch Guides: Animated Yoda & Kybuck LIVE!
In early July 2007 Gentle Giant began the shipping of Yoda and his Kybuck, being this the penultimate of the maquettes based on the signature Tartakovsky style of animation for their Clone Wars Line. While it wasn't received with much enthusiasm by some at first, it quickly gained wide public approval thanks to its dynamic design and great detail.

Read the pros and cons of the maquette, get in depth factorial information on the Kybuck and see the detailed images of the Jedi General and its mounted steed, right here. Thanks again to our sponsor Red-5-Collectibles U.S.A. for their help with our animated maquette guide. Enjoy!

    Sandtrooper Jedichirp Reports:
“I had my search lights on today in Indy while out looking for birthday gifts for my son. Toys R Us had the Blue Harvest (Family Guy) Bobble Heads on the shelf as well as the Hoth Patrol and S.T.A.P. Attack Battle Packs. I had to make my way over to the Greenwood Wal-Mart and they had the Comic Book 2 Pack of Crimson Empire figs. The Greenwood Target has one of the Rancors left on the shelf too. I was searching for some new Galactic Hero Figs but didn’t find any on the shelves at any of the stores. But at least this was some new action figure eye candy in the stores! That’s it for now… United We Find!”

    Sandtrooper Dennis Reports:
24/7 S.C.A.L.P. Trooper“Hey Troops, here's my store report for June. TRU (Gurnee, IL) has the exclusive Hoth Patrol & S.T.A.P. battle packs as well as the white TIE fighter with larger wings. Target (Gurnee, IL) has 2 TFU Battle Rancors in stock plus the Battle of Mygeeto battle pack & the latest Mighty Muggs with the Emperor & Luke. Obviously there are no new basic figures to speak of until the 7/26 release of the Clone Wars & Legacy line. There were also had 4 Order-66 packs. 3 Luminaras & 1 Weequay jedi I think. I don't know if they were marked down or not since they were next to the battle packs in the Star Wars aisle. That's all for now. United We Find!”

Area Report: Target didn't get the Order?
If you can't believe Hasbro who can you believe?I guess it would seem Target didn't get the latest "order" regarding the exclusive 2-pack sets. On a recent toy run to my local Bullseye, I was shocked to find the Order 66 2-packs on clearance for $6.98. This just couldn’t be possible seeing as on May 24th the Q & A team passed along a message stating you will not find these sets marked down, you should buy them up on sight is more or less what was implied. Well I guess you can’t believe everything your read, as I found 5 of 6 sets in stock today in Waukegan, IL. So if you Troopers did miss one or two, it’s safe to say don’t believe the hype! Or would it be Hasbro? Let us know if you’ve found any of these, as I'm very interested to know if this is just an isolated incident.

New Capt. Rex Photos: Who's your Grandaddy?
Where'd they dig up this old fossil? Our S.C.A.L.P. Intelligence sources have forwarded a great look at the upcoming Captain Rex figure. Even though he's been delayed until the rest of the fireworks kick off in July, I think the biggest question on our minds might be where did they dig up this old fossil? I really do like the option of the removable helmet but can't help to wonder why they'd have a Trooper seem to be so ancient? Which version do you prefer? Dewback Preview: Wizard World Chicago
The Dewback Patrol is getting set to roll for another red-hot summer! The festivities will commence this month at Wizard World Chicago, as Steve Sansweet will be in the windy city to deliver a presentation from LFL once again. The show is being held a bit early but we're hoping some of you Troopers can still make it out. There are also a couple of Star Wars personalities on the guest list with Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett) and Orli Shoshon (Shaak Ti) that will be on hand to sign autographs. We’re unsure at this time if we’ll have another “ground assault” with a bunker appearance, as we’d like to have the Sandblast as high impact as last year but as it sits right now we are not setting up. Stay tuned to Sandtroopers.com for complete coverage throughout the weekend and if our status changes we’ll post hours of operation for the bunker if our situation changes.
