Force of the Bay: Calm before the Mega-Blast!
It’s time once again to break out the big guns and gather some old friends and have a good old party. You may have to cover your eyes when you see what this Commander has assembled for the Sandtastic Celebration this year. We’re going on a mission, for the fourth blast, which begins next month. I promise to make things interesting and while there will not be some of the things from years past, or things I simply could not acquire, the weapons we do have will rock the Star Wars collecting world. We’re on a roll, and this summer the battle continues to help aid collectors in finding whatever they need. Take them down two at a time, and watch out for
the Blackholes that are in it for the money, and not the glory. It’s our time this July, the birth of Sandtroopers.com, and your ultimate weapon in fighting back. Sure it's hot but when you see how cool this giveaway is you will feel like you are in Alaska. You might want to dress warm! Remember Sandtroopers.com neither endorses nor authenticates any of the items featured here. Good luck to you Troopers in your searches and in the sixth birthday and fourth annual Sandblast Giveaway!

Sandtrooper Barve Reporting In:
"Sandtrooper Barve here and so is the Tatooine wave! The wave I've been waiting for is in Missouri at last! My mom managed to snag the only Garindan there and in a close call she nearly returned the Han Solo I've been wanting for awhile. Finally a somewhat decent Han. Well Columbia's Wal-Mart is already being pegwarmed by the Bespin Darth Vaders, but I do encourage you to pick at least one up cause this is one of THE best Vaders to date. Everywhere else should have at least one of the wave in their Columbia store. Also if Columbia finally got them then check Jefferson City and Momberly and you'll be sure to score something. Well that's it from the middle of the U.S.! United we find!"

Sandtrooper Starfox Reports:
Real Men wear Pink!“Happy summer to all the Troopers and hope all are preparing for a great 4th of July! Some good news in Central Texas today, to start of with, both the Killeen and Harker Heights Wal-Marts have tons of the Tatooine wave hitting with plenty of all figures on the pegs. The Unleashed have come and gone in the blink of an eye, except for Chewie, he is warming the pegs big time. Target is the one to look for, summer toy clearances are hitting now! Our store has the Grievous marked down to $11, VSTC are $10 and the Senate Skirmish battlepacks are $17. It's the start of something good; hopefully they will mark them down one more time before they are gone. Currently Kmart and KB Toys totally suck. Toys R Us still has plenty of Clone Gunships, but the Hunt for Grievous battlepacks came and gone in less than 3 hours. That's all from Central Texas, everyone have a safe and happy 4th! Starfox signing out...”

"The Bigger They Are..."
A Jedi lifting an AT-AT? Yeah, right!Over at the Official Site in their Hyperspace section known as "Secrets of Star Wars 07" is one incredible picture that will make your jaw drop to the floor. I won't give too much of it away but it is something that even Yoda would probably have a hard time doing. You have to be a Hyperspace member in order to view this section, and if you are you don't want to miss out on this. Check out this stunning image here.

New Titanium Vehicles from Hasbro
New Titanium Vechiles from HasbroHey troopers, we have some exciting news for you! We have just received a transmission showing four new Titanium Vehicles that will be coming out soon, which include a B-Wing Fighter, TIE Interceptor, Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter and Leia's Speeder Bike. They all look great but the one that stands out the most to me has to be the TIE Interceptor. The Imperial vehicles have always been the coolest looking ships that have ever been done, and it's going to make a great addition to my already growing collection of these fine collectibles. Check out all the images of these here.

Sandtrooper JediMCor Reports:
“The Tatooine Wave is just showing up in the Corning New York area, so I picked up a set for my boys. Also the Unleashed, Transformers, Galactic Heroes, Titanium Series, and other miscellaneous items have showed up between TRU, KB Toys, Wal-Mart, and Kmart. Heroes and Villains seem to be in low quantity in the area, also the Battle Packs. 4 more weeks before the New Target opens up in Horsehead New York, which will be a 20-minute drive for me now, instead of 1 1/2 hours. By the way, is there a Fellow Sandtrooper that can find and pick up for me the Hunt for Grievous Battlepack at cost plus shipping. I have the New TRU Clone War Gunship for my boys, but I can't find the battle pack to complete the gunship set. My boys and myself would appreciate it. All fellow Sandtroopers have a great 4th of July Holiday. May the Force be with you all!”

Star Wars: Death Star Assault
Star Wars: Death Star AssaultIf you have to get your Star Wars video game fix while you're at work, on a train or bus, or even in your car (not that we advise you of doing that), you now have the opportunity of play the new Star Wars: Death Star Assault video game on your THQ Wireless cell phone. Levi Buchanan, who reviewed this game for IGN.com, stated that this is a great game with great graphics and is a lot of fun to play (especially for it being on a cell phone). You get to pilot an X-Wing fighter and the Millennium Falcon, and you have to face TIE fighters, Star Destroyers and of course the Death Star. So if you have a cell phone with THQ Wireless service, you might want to get this game because it does sound like Force is with it. Read more about this here.

Vehicles & Screenshots of LEGO Star Wars II
Vehicles & Screenshots of LEGO Star Wars IIThe folks at gameinfowire.com have some great looking screenshots on their site. They also mention that there are many different vehicles that you will be able to ride in, such as the Millennium Falcon, X-wings, AT-STs, speeder bikes and more. David Perkinson (producer at LucasArts) said, "Now you have a free range of movement in all directions, which enables you to fully explore a level and even come back to it later in Free Play mode with any of the vehicles you may have unlocked." I cannot wait to play this game!

Dewback Patrol: Geneva's Swedish Days Parade
Dewback Patrol: Geneva's Swedish Days ParadeHey troopers! It was a very busy weekend for me as I suited up in my sandtrooper armor for not only the Chicago Hunger Walk, but yesterday I had the pleasure of marching in Geneva's Swedish Days parade. I've seen that parade so many times, but this time was different since I marched in it with other members from the Midwest Garrison. It was hot and humid, but that didn't stop me from having a great time. Check out all 41 photos and the full report here.

Sandwatch Update: New Images of Gentle Giant Busts
Sandwatch Update: New Images of Gentle Giant BustsOur Gentle Giant Busts visual guide that's handled by Boba Binks has been updated tonight with three new images. The three new busts that have been added to the page include the following: Entertainment Earth Exclusive Darth Vader / Anakin Reveal, Blackhole Stormtrooper and Holiday 2005 Salacious Crumb. What's unique about the Salacious Crumb bust is that only 200 units were made, and they were made for Gentle Giant's staff in 2005. I'm not sure how Boba Binks got a hold of one of these, but however he did it that is truly one great bust to have in your collection.

Collections Update: New Pictures from Starfox
Collections Update: New Pics from StarfoxThe Collections section has five new photos that have been added to starfox's collection page. One of the cooler things he has displayed has to be the Ralph McQuarrie prints he has hanging on his walls, and also the Clone Wars gunship loaded with clone troopers. I also noticed the Unleashed Shock Trooper he has sitting on that shelf, which is one of the few Unleashed figures that I still don't have in my collection. Nonetheless, thanks for the new pics Dave and your new collection room looks great!

Dewback Patrol: Catch me Ridin' Dirty
Hey Terrorists, we got two words for ya, SUCK IT!Within hours of the alleged terror threat on the Sears Tower in Chicago, IL, Sandtroopers.com responded by sending their top hierarchy to take part in the 21st Annual Hunger Walk. It was a pleasure to join the Midwest Garrison and backing up the likes of Superman, Cap'N Crunch and bumping into a childhood hero was simply priceless. We will not live in fear of any terror threat. We will live our lives without fear every day and enjoy liberty that our Armed Forces pay for with their lives. While there could be no greater reward than giving back to people who have greater need, seeing the tallest building in the world, standing proud was a sight in itself. For the entire report and photos click here to catch me riding dirty!

San Diego Comic-Con Exlusives
San Diego Comic-Con ExlusivesThe Official Site has just unveiled what should be quite a valuable tool for those attending the San Diego Comic-Con between July 20-23. The tool I am referring to is a detailed list of all the Star Wars exlusives that will be available during the convention. The only thing that it is lacking are prices, only because it would be nice to have the cash readily available to purchase all of these great items. One of the most exciting items that will be available has to be the Star Wars Chaykin Poster Mini Sculpture, which looks incredibly detailed and brings you back to 1976. Check out the full listing of exclusives here.

I'm really impressed with the amount of detail in the Titanium Figures that have been produced so far, especially the IG-88 figure. That is one that I'll definitely have to add to my collection! I also like the 501st clone trooper, but it doesn't stand out as much as IG-88 does in these pictures. Check out the images for yourself here.

Jar Jar Binks... Most Annoying of All Time!
Jar Jar Binks... Most Annoying of All Time! It's official! Jar Jar Binks has been labeled as the most annoying film character of all time. Not that the news should be surprising to anyone but it's now factual as a poll was run by Lovefilm.com (a British online rental firm) asking fans who they hated the most. I only know one person that is a fan of Jar Jar Binks, and I'm sure he's just rolling his eyes when he reads this news post. There's no better picture out there that best shows what should happen to Jar Jar than this picture.

Designer Diary #1 for Star Wars: Empire at War
Designer Diary #1 for Star Wars: Empire at WarFans across the galaxy raced to stores earlier this year to purchase the highly anticipated PC video game titled "Star Wars: Empire at War." Some were thrilled with the game while others were not. Whatever the case may be, it's still another Star Wars game that should be worth giving at least a try. GameSpot.com recently added a new article to their site titled "Diary #1 - Underworld Faction," which goes into detail about the different groups who add some corruption to the game. If you hate the Rebels and don't want to join the Empire, then playing the role for the Underworld would be right up your alley. Read the whole diary entry for yourself here, and when you're done be sure to talk about it in our forums.

That’s why I’m not shocked that we as a community are going to try and aid this auction by posting it and letting the Web know that another member needs help. Carol Gilbert (aka Jedi Mom) needs your help in the most urgent of ways. She has fallen on some hard times with some serious medical bills and is having to part with her Star Wars Collection. That’s why we are asking you to do what you can do and help this member and fan of Star Wars out when she needs it most. If you want to help Carol out please check out the auction the crew at Yodasnews has put together for her. For any that wish and can help, please do. United We Find!

Figure Contest - Custom Pilots
Figure Contest - Custom PilotsHey troopers! The May 2006 customs contest for the custom pilot is now complete. Unfortunately only TWO troopers who have great customizing skills entered the contest, but the two that did enter the contest did a great job! Hasbro should take some lessons from these guys, as they all turned out quite well. Only one trooper can be classified as the winner, and the winner will be chosen by all of you. This poll will be running for 14 days from today's date (6/19). The one with the most votes will be the winner. Be sure to cast your vote in our forums now!

Around the Net: Jedi Survivor
One Jedi we won't hunt! Our S.C.A.L.P. Troopers have confirmed a report of a Jedi Survivor, literally... Even though Kit Fisto lost in the lightsaber battle to the Emperor, he is still a survivor, but just behind the scenes. Zack Jensen is actually the art director for the CBS reality show Survivor. Please click here to see how things are put together in this detailed interview. It was good to catch up on Master Kit Fisto as we haven't heard from him since last year at CIII! Thanks to Jimsjedi for the tip! Discuss this with other Troopers in our Forums.

Sandtrooper Barve Reports:
“Hey Troopers, Hope all is well on your end of the galaxy! Well over here in Columbia Missouri we're still waiting for the first appearance of the Mos Eisley wave. Until then we'll keep making our patrols. Today was eventful. Checked out Suncoast and along with King Kong, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, and Lord of the Rings I argued with my family over which Star Wars poster to get (vintage style or re-release. We went with re-release unfortunately) to decorate our upstairs hallway movie theatre style.” For more check out the

Sandwatch Update: Grievous - Evil has a New Name
At the brink of death and only with the help of Dooku's Dark Side powers a mysterious Kaleesh warlord was kept alive. What was left of him was fused with robotic parts turning him into a Cyborg.

He was trained in lightsaber combat by Darth Tyranus, becoming neither Force sensitive nor Sith. Considering himself not a droid, this alien reacted with demented fury to such inference as many of his victims attested. His menacing presence was felt strong in the Outer and Mid Rims bringing new levels of butchery to the wars, leaving trails of blood everywhere he ventured. His name was Grievous ... General Grievous!

Read the review and take a look at the detailed pictures of Sideshow Collectibles rendition of one of the most evil characters from that galaxy far, far way. Enjoy!

In the Line of Fire: Garage Sale Gems
In the Line of Fire: Garage Sale GemsHey troopers, with the warm weather that's upon us it's about that time for garage sale shopping. What better timing than to have this article on our site tonight, because our neighborhood is getting together to have a huge garage sale party. There will be so many families having their own garage sales, and I'm planning on heading out in the morning to hopefully score something good. Of course I'm going to be searching for anything Star Wars related, so I will have to keep my fingers crossed. In my article I give tips on planning and strategizing the attack, how to make an effective approach, and more. When you're done reading that share your tips, thoughts and experiences in our forums.

Timothy Zahn and "Star Wars: Allegiance"
Timothy Zahn and Star Wars: AllegianceIf you're a fan of Timothy Zahn's writing you will surely be excited when you hear that he has a new book coming out titled "Star Wars: Allegiance." The book takes place between Episodes IV and V and involves a team of stormtroopers who decide to do things a little bit differently than the norm. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and even Mara Jade will all have a part in this book. What I like about this is the fact that it's going to be a transitional book, so maybe we'll learn more about how the Rebels re-grouped after destroying the first Death Star, and what would even be cooler is how they ended up choosing and settling down on Hoth. The book is scheduled to be released on January 30, 2007, and it will be initially produced in hardcover format. Read the full article here.

Sandtrooper Joe-Jowa Reports:
“Hey Troopers, Joe-jowa here in Milwaukee with some disturbing news on the TRU/Amazon front. Don't know if anyone else experienced a similar situation, but after several delays in my order for the gunship and hunt for Grievous Battlepack, I called up Amazon, 2 different people told me that because of a lawsuit pending between Toys R Us and themselves, they wouldn't be fulfilling those orders, including my pre-ordered AT-AT! They said that TRU wasn't going to fulfill the orders they had taken, even though I ordered my stuff on April 9th. So we might all have to drive from store to store to find what we need. Or, try TRU customer service, they were able to find stores with the Gunship in stock, but not a single store in Wisconsin showed the Battlepack in stock. Anyhow, happy hunting Troopers. Sandtrooper Starfox Reports:"Hey Troopers, The Hunt for Grievous has made it's way to the TRU in Killeen, TX, but they didn't hang around long as they all sold out in less than a day! TRU also has about 15 of the Clone Wars Cartoon Gunships on the shelves, several VTSC figures, the H & V wave of basic figures and the Titanium Bossk and Sandtrooper (which I bought). The Harker Heights Wal-Mart has the entire Tatooine wave plus H & V wave on the pegs as well as the newer Titanium ships with the EP3 Aluminum Falcon. The Killeen Wal-Mart is choking with Hoth wave pegwarmers and the big Bothan Jedi. Kmart is choking also with the H & V wave, same with KB Toys. That's all from Central Texas for now, starfox signing off."

Episode III Greatest Battle Wave by Hasbro
501st Legion TrooperHasbro announced today a new line of basic action figures which will be called "The Episode III Greatest Battles Collection." The initial wave will include eight figures which are the following: Royal Guard, Padme (on Mustafar), R4-G9, Kit Fisto, 501st Legion Trooper, C-3PO, AT-TE Tank Gunner and Count Dooku. It's a shame that none of these figures are of new characters that haven't been done yet, but it's good to see that the 501st troopers will hit store shelves again since I never found one. Be sure to check out the pictures for yourself here, and be sure to share your opinions of this new wave our forums.

Sandtrooper dustrho Reporting In!
S.C.A.L.P. Weapons SupplierAfter a delicious meal at Red Robin for lunch, I decided to make a quick stop at the Target down on Route 59 in Plainfield, and I'm glad that I did. Hanging on the pegs were two of the Clone Trooper figures from the Heroes & Villains Collection, but after further inspection I thought these were supposed to be new or at least have a new paint job? In the Line of Fire: Wizard World Chicago 2006
In the Line of FireWizard World Chicago will soon be here upon us, and that means it's time we all start putting in our vacation requests at work so that we can all meet up at the show. It's been a long time coming and I'm very much looking forward to this year's Wizard World Chicago event. This year I will be suiting up in my sandtrooper armor for the first time, and will hopefully meet many people who I have become friends with in the forums. Be sure to read my latest article, Wizard World Chicago 2006, as I go into detail as to what may be in store for us, and more importantly if Hasbro will be present or not (their last appearance was in 2003). When you're done reading it be sure to share your thoughts over in our forums.

Sandtrooper Darth Dan Reporting:
"Have had a hard time finding the Tatooine wave. But today I found Hem Dazon and Luke skywalker at Target in Modesto, CA. I wasn't going to buy another Luke but I really liked Obi-Wan's chest that came with it. Still need to find Hammerhead, R5-D4 and Sandtrooper. My Toys R' Us has stacks of the Clone Wars gunships but no Hunt for Grevious battle packs. Can't wait for Mace Windu's Jedi starfighter and especially for the droid tanks that even though thay are in their thrid repaint I still have never gotten. I have a few extra scout trooper proof of purchase tabs from extra VTSC troopers I have opened as army builders if anybody needs them."

Holiday Edition: A Sudden Misfire
Ralph McQuarrie's conceptual art is a legacy well known by Star Wars enthusiast throughout the world. His creations were a driven force defining the Star Wars Universe before the production of the first film began. It was also the artist's idea to create annual Lucasfilm Holiday cards showing Star Wars' familiar faces involved in Christmas activities.

Based on these cards Hasbro began a series of sets properly named "Holiday Edition" and thus bringing McQuarrie's art to life and shaping it within the plasticized world of 3 3/4-inch action figures. Everything was going in the right direction for the festive series. So much thought had been put into the Holiday sets that fans happily awaited for the next one to come along. Unfortunately, positive comments turned into general dislike the minute Holiday Vader made his laughable appearance. See the detailed pictures and read the review of Hasbro's fourth Holiday set right here. Enjoy!

S.C.A.L.P. Elite Forces“Trooper Jon reporting in from Ohio. Well, I have been back in Ohio this week visiting my family. I scored a few figures from the Tatooine wave last Saturday at Wal-Mart, and I was lucky enough to find the entire assortment tonight at another Wal-Mart in the outer-rim territories. These figures are just awesome! Otherwise Toledo has been very dry. Meijer and K-Mart are choking on the Carkoon wave. I think these are the same figures that were on the pegs two months ago when I was last here. The other stores in Toledo have the Heroes and Villains wave warming pegs. Well, I'm back to my East coast patrol tomorrow. Back to Boston. Blah. Talk to you troops later. Trooper Jon out.”

I haven't collected all of the different Jedi Starfighters, only because they're all the same ship but with different paint jobs, but I do think I'm going to have to pick up Mace's Starfighter. Sandtrooper Erik Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Patrol- Southern Illinois!“The Mos Eisley wave has finally hit the Soy Capital of the World! After three weeks of frustration and desperation, I was able to score some of this wave at our Target in Decatur, IL, today. Target also had four Titanium Figure Sandtroopers, but none of the all-metal variant. The Skirmish in the Senate Battlepack continues to be a pegwarmer here, with about 6-7 on the shelves; to keep it company, the Episode III vehicle re-releases are plentiful, as well. Looking over this store and both Wal-Mart stores (which are about a month behind our Target in getting new stuff), the new local pegwarmer is Luthros Dofine (I saw eight or nine of him at the stores today), and most of the Heroes & Villains first wave is hanging around (except for the Destroyer Droid and Mace Windu). Overall, it’s nice to see new figures, but we’ve got to get more new stuff on the shelves. I’m anxiously awaiting all of the new vehicle releases later this year. Take care, and happy hunting Troopers!”

Choose the Next LEGO Ultimate Collectors Set!
FX-6The Official Site has released some exciting news that is guaranteed to make any Star Wars LEGO fan cheer about. They are running a new poll to determine which Ultimate Collectors Set should be made next, and there are four sets you can choose from which include the following: R2-D2, FX-6, Vulter Droid Starfighter and an Electronic AT-AT walker. I had to go with the FX-6 medical droid, only because of the fact that he is one of a few droids that helped create Darth Vader. The other sets look good, but I had to choose the one that looked most original and one that hasn't been done before. The new set is scheduled to be released in 2007. Check out the full story here and be sure to cast your vote in our forums and on their site. Voting will be open from June 6th through June 13th to all registered (free and subscriber) members of starwars.com.

Sandtrooper Barve Reports:
“Hey Troopers! Sandtrooper Barve here. Back from a long, tiresome, but rewarding trip. I was hired for security detail for a family wedding up in North Dakota and managed to secure a route that would take me through the Mall of America. I hoped I would score some of the Tatooine wave as I've heard rumors of their arrival there. Well didn't make any stops on the way up except to refuel the Dewback. After arriving right when the mall had opened I had a very good chance of catching something, but unfortunately no Tatooine wave. They had plenty Hoth and some HVC that I wouldn't mind having, but with a 9.95 price tag I skipped them.” For the entire report click here.

The Return of the Jedi deco version, which features some alterations to the paint scheme seen in The Empire Strikes Back, measures approximately 8.5" tall, is articulated, and includes a blaster rifle. Sandtrooper Dead Hero Reports:
Who's Dead?“Greetings Troopers! After wondering whether we were missing the Skiff here in northeast Illinois, I ended up heading way South of Heaven Saturday from Winthrop Harbor to work in LaGrange, with my trip on Highway 94 taking me to Docking Bay 94 with new figures Vader (two), R5-D4 (two), and Sandtrooper at Wal-Mart in Countryside, and Titanium Bossk (both trim) at Target. Again today, the same Wal-Mart had Garindan (two) and Hem Dazon, with what appeared to be the same case-pack reported by trooper Vlix (based on seeing Snowtrooper and Fire Pilot). This Wal-Mart has also restocked VSTC. On additional fronts, I found the Titanium Sandtrooper (regular) at Racine, Wisconsin Toys R Us and more Sandtroopers (both trim), again at Countryside Target. The Unleashed have been showing up here for a few weeks now and the Shock Trooper is definitely short-packed. Contact your local Imperial snitch and you may find the figures you are looking for. United We Find!”

Sandtrooper Scalperhunter1 Reports:
The Truth“Greetings from the heartland of Gods country. Cedar Rapids Iowa. The UGH and Saga figures are definitely warming the pegs around here. Wal-Mart continues to stock absolutely nothing. Excluding the Tatooine wave Target has received all of the waves but the hard to find figures are never on the pegs. TRU had at least a dozen Republic Gunships on the shelf. I'm still waiting for the new Unleashed to arrive. I have found 1 Sandtrooper and 1 Clonetrooper with dirty armor. Of coarse I snatched up both. Good hunting to all. If you spot any scalpers call my hotline. The hunter is always looking for his prey. United We Find.”

If you roll with ST, you're guaranteed 7 or 11 EVERYTIME!“Hey Troopers, Darth Vegas checking in with a short report. I too encountered the new Full Sized Unleashed figures and picked up a few of each. They are first rate to be sure. I wish they never stopped that line. Dewback Patrol: Star Wars Weekends Part 2
Jedichirp and his young apprentice.Sandtroopers are made to endure hot and dry desert-like climates, but instead of it being hot and dry this trooper was sent on a mission to the hot and humid climate of Orlando, Florida. While on inactive duty there he managed to do a little reconnaissance work for the site, and came away with this detailed report. You won't want to miss out on who he happened to run into while patrolling down there, because it was Chirp's most prized kill yet!

Sandtrooper dustrho Reporting In!
S.C.A.L.P. Weapons SupplierHey troopers! I made a stop at the local Wal-Mart on Route 59 in Plainfield, and was able to score a couple new things today. Sitting on the lowest shelf was one of the newest Unleashed figures... Chewbacca! The sculpt on this bad boy looks freakin' sweet, which is a major improvement to the already well done original version. The next thing I found was sitting on the shelf just above Chewie, and that happened to be the new Star Wars Transformer Emperor Palpatine (Imperial Shuttle). These Transformers keep getting better and better, and I really had my doubts about these when I first heard of Hasbro was going to make them. So, it was a really good day for me today.

Yesterday my friend, Darth Berger, hooked me up with a couple of things from the Toys 'R Us by Fox Valley Mall in Aurora. He picked me up the newest super-articulated Sandtrooper figure, which of course looks great mainly for the fact that it's a sandtrooper. You can't go wrong with sandtroopers! He also found me the newest Hunt for General Grievous Battle Pack, which I thought was only supposed to be an online exclusive at TRU/Amazon.com's website. It's fine by me because I now have that in my collection!United We Find!

Sandtrooper Jedimaster-C Reports:
Are they still making these?“The Tatooine wave has hit the north Alabama area. I have seen the Sandtrooper but the bubble was crushed. One Wal-Mart had wave 3 of the Star Wars Transformers (Shuttle/Emperors and ARC 170/Clone pilot).I didn't find the Jango Fett Slave I. That’s about it.”

Sandtrooper Tim Reports:
“Today I went to Wal-Mart and they had JUST put out Star Wars figures. There was only 1 Clone Trooper and 1 Commander Commander Bacara...then I noticed a display she was putting on the shelf below the figures it was the new Unleashed assortment there were 12 figures in it 5 Han Solo, 6 Chewbacca and only 1 Shocktrooper. So it looks like yet again they short packed the figure that everyone wants. So be on the lookout.”

Sandtrooper Newfiend Reports:
“Hello Troops, well the Escape from Mos Eisley wave finally hit us up north. Through my local collecting buddies I was able to score most of the wave. Target in Hadley, Massachusetts had the wave for a day and it was gone, I am not sure if they have any more because they are very strict on their policies there regarding collectable items. It’s just a show up and see if you get lucky type of store. Wal-Mart in Northampton, Mass. got the Mos Eisley wave and has a few stragglers left if your looking but for the most part it is packed with Heroes and Villains figures. So if you need any of those that is the place to check. I am still missing the R5-D4 figure so if anyone would like to part with one MOC I am looking to purchase/ trade for it. I am also still looking for the 7” unleashed Han, Chewbacca and Shocktrooper. I haven’t seen any here at all and I don’t know if I will. That’s the news from the great North East. United we Find!”

Sandtrooper Legend Steve Hart Reports:
“Hello Troops, it's been a long time since my last post. I just wanted to drop the word that the Tatooine wave has hit the Indy area in full force. Wal-Mart in Brownsburg and Avon both had multiples of all the figures except for the Sandtroopers. An army builder or scalper beat me to all of the troopers, so I am counting on a fellow trooper to help me out with that one. I picked up an extra Bespin Vader with Red Hologram Darth Vader for anyone willing to trade for the new Sandtroooper. I don't care what hologram is packed in with it. Also, I have a new user name in the forums. Look for me as Frodo. Until next time...”

New Pictures of Hasbro Products for 2006!
Death Star GunnerHey troopers! We have just received a large number of high resolution images that involve Hasbro products which should be coming out in stores soon. Some of the products include the basic action figure line, Titanium Vehicles and even Galactic Heroes. I'd have to say the coolest looking figure would have to be the newly sculpted Death Star Gunner, but what's up with the elbow joints on it? Why can't we have regular ball socket joints instead? Oh well, we can't complain too much since we're finally getting a new sculpt of such a great soldier. Be sure to check out all 26 images here.

Update to Kotobukiya Guide:

A while has passed since our last update to the Kotobukiya Guide and it's time again for another round of fantastically detailed Snap Fast kits, their pictures and review. This time around we take a look at five different figures from Revenge of the Sith as well a character from the Empire Strikes Back equipped with breath heaters and capable of surviving deeply frozen environments.

Also we'll take a look at Koto's second production error on a kit. Although not as significant as the Yoda kit having 5 toes ( from the Mace Windu set ), this second error deals with the upper buttons on a certain Sith Lord's chestplate being in reverse order. Without further ado, follow the link and read on. Feel free to share your comments with us in our forums. Enjoy!

Sandtrooper Aantmanntooine Reports:
“SW Virginia: Tatooine wave hit BIG at Wal-Mart last night in my area. They received 5-7 cases of figs, 5 cases on Tatooine wave, 1 case of Heroes & Villains and a case of VTSC. Careful on the different Tatooine wave figs, since there are two different ones. One includes Snowtrooper, Firespeeder Pilot, Lushros Dofine, and Cody with RED holos and DOES NOT include Hammerhead and R5-D4. The other case does not include the previous wave figs but has two each of R5-D4 and Hammerhead. I’m not saying this is how it is or will be, but we only got one case with those two…so look out. Bespin Vader is wicked sweet.”
