The Lucasfilm Licensing Archives Revealed
There's NINE of these vintage shuttles here! Wow!!!This morning I was checking my email when I noticed I had received my Star Wars Delta Source newsletter (Hyperspace members only). Normally when I see this I don't typcially get excited about what the content entails, but that all changed this morning when I noticed a smaller article in this HTML newsletter was titled "The Lucasfilm Licensing Archives Revealed." That sparked my interest a bit, and I decided to immediately check it out for myself.

This is a shot looking down an aisle in the storage unit.I logged into Hyperspace and was taken to the article's web page, and the article was a good read. Better yet though was the images that were photographed by Lucasfilm, and I couldn't believe what I was looking at. There were boxes and boxes of vintage 12-back figures, POTF figures, vintage vehicles, vintage toy weapons, arcade machines, Stormtrooper gear, and so much more. It was like heaven to any Star Wars collector, to just see all that in one location. It was truly amazing!

So, you will have to check out the images and read the article here. It's definitely something you don't want to pass up.

Sandtrooper Darth Fish Reports:
“Just got my ROTS collectors plate in the mail today and I've got to say I'm quite disappointed! I got the one with the Lightsaber dividing the picture that was selling on StarWarsShop.com. The coloring is pretty bad. Has like a brownish tint to it, not bluish on one side and reddish on the other. Not nearly as vibrant as the picture shows. Did anyone else get this plate and have the same problem. If so please notify me so I know if I should return it for a refund or just exchange it. Thanks, until next time Troopers!”

What Happened to the Other Jedi?
Quinlan Vos standing in the perch of a Turbo Tank, just seconds before getting blasted away by another Turbo Tank after Order 66 was ordered. If you're a Hyperspace member, you'll have a good read today after reading the latest Episode III Set Diary. The diary goes into detail about several Jedi that were originally scripted to be in Revenge of the Sith, but for whatever reasons they were not included in the final cuts of the film. Some of the Jedi mentioned are Barriss Offee, Luminara Unduli, and Quinlan Vos. Yes, Quinlan Vos was supposed to have had a brief spot in the film, but unfortunately his scene was was never filmed. Read the full diary entry here.

Sandtroopers Tim and Amy in St. Louis Reports:
Sandtroopers Tim and Amy in St. Louis Reports:"Maybe we are behind the times a bit, but we found the Target Yoda collector's cup this past weekend at the Kirkwood Target. We passed on the Han Solo, but wished we hadn't later because the cups STILL aren't in the system! I thought the supervisor said it was $9.99, but we ended up only geting charged $5.24 for it. I'll admit I feel a little guilty about it, but I can't believe they haven't updated their systems in over a month to include these items."

One of SoCal's Finest!“Found the Wookiee Flyer at my local Toys R Us in Murrieta, Ca this past week. Not much else, however I do have an extra complete set of the Bacara wave, all in excellent C-9.5+ condition. Looking to trade for the Zett Jukassa wave if anyone finds an extra set, a blue or green Trooper 3-pack, or I will sell them at cost plus shipping. I would rather not return them if someone out there needs them. Drop me a line with offers.”

Sandtrooper Hothchad Reports:
Cold as Ice“HothChad from Central Minnesota. After being pretty slow around here for a few weeks, some new stuff is starting to show up. Today and yesterday I did find the Wookiee Flyer and figures #48-50. Found these at two different Targets. Wal-Mart hasn’t had anything new for quite awhile. Have yet to see any figures #45-47 anywhere. Hopefully they are not passing over that wave. Have seen the 3 packs of clone troopers in the all white and the brown version. Until next time HothChad out.”

Sandtrooper Darth Fish Reports:
“Darth Fish reporting in from the Elgin, IL area. TRU in Schaumburg had full pegs, but nothing new in the basic figures. Had plenty of unleashed and deluxe (no clone 3-packs). At TRU by Spring Hill mall had the same, but also had the arc fighter. Picked up another Tank gunner and two Deluxe Darth Vaders on operating table at the local Target stores. They had the Mustafaar playsets and deluxe figures. No 3-packs only single deluxe clones. The only sighting I have seen of new wave basic figures was at S.H. TRU. They had 2 different figures with beat up boxes. (Ask Aak and Meena Tills. An employee there said they are expecting a new shipment any day now. Meijer's in Elgin had BARC Speeders w/Wookiee figure and At-Rt w/ clone trooper figure. Nothing in the way of basic figures though. Wal-Mart on Randall Rd. only had some Unleashed figures, but in poor condition. No new figures! Why this area hasn't seen the new wave I'll never know. Target seems to be getting new stuff except basic figures! Still looking for a carded Unleashed Darth Maul and Lava Vader. Keep up the hunt! Darth Fish out!”

Sandtrooper dustrho Reporting In:
Sandtrooper dustrho reporting here from the Chicagoland area. While running a few errands today with my family I ran into some new Force Battler figures at Wal-Mart, which included the new Clone Trooper, Mace Windu and Chewbacca figures. I did purchase the original wave of these back on April 2nd (Midnight Madness), but I decided to pass on these because I'm just not really into these anymore. As far as figures were concerned the only ones that were there were the Clone Pilots, Neimoidian Warriors and Chancellor Palpatines... nothing else! There were two Mustafar playsets there, but since they weren't on clearance yet I decided to pass on them again.

Also, while waiting in the car with my baby boy, my wife ran inside Target to get a couple of things and came back out with a #48 R2-D2 for me. This does look like the same one from the original Saga days, but I'll have to compare the two to check it out in better detail. United We Find!

Sandtrooper Dom Reports: Who's Your Daddy?
Anyone have a 12-inch Plo Koon?“Troops, on my hunt in east central Whiskey I found the Wookiee Flyer (the helicopter in the Kashyyyk scenes in ROTS). It was at Target and rang up for a reasonable $14.99. It comes with a Wookiee in a seated position. Doesn't look like he's articulated. There's room for another Wookiee in the rear-facing seat (Dackbacca?). And I hate to be picky, but a note to Tim and Amy from St. Louis: the line is not "Luke, I am your father." It's "No, I am your father." Not quite as memorable and maybe that's why it didn't make it into the top 100 movie quotes of all time. Just thought I'd pass that on. Good luck with the hunt.”

Sandtrooper Scalperhuner1 Reports:
“Greetings fellow Troopers. Scalperhunter1 here. Today it was Toys R us, Wal-Mart and Target. I did pick up the Barriss Offee 12-inch at Target. Nothing but less space on the shelf at Wal-Mart. T.R.U. had even less on the shelf than my last visit. I asked them about their new exclusive figure and as usual no one knew anything about it. The other items I purchased were The Mace Windu and Luke Skywalker Playschool figures. I don't know if anyone else collects these but I think they are cool. Good hunting. Together we find!”

Sandtrooper Robert Reports:
"Robert from Palm Bay, Florida. This is my first report on your site but I've been coming to the site for a few years and have to say it's one of my favorites. Just wanted to pass along that I was in our local Wal-Mart food stores and they had a few ROTS figures and actually had a Red Royal Guard. I passed on it. If you have these new Wal-Mart food marts in your area be sure to Take a look. You never know what you will find. The figures by the way were higher than the regular Wal-Mart prices, and I believe they were $5.88. Still no sign of the Tarkin wave but have score with #48-#50. Out for now."

Sandtroopers Tim and Amy in St. Louis Reports:
You can keep Rob and Amber we got Tim & Amy“There is not much happening here in St. Louis. We finally found the deluxe clone 2-pack this past week at the Kirkwood Target (the white "clean" version). And even though their pegs were full, they had no new waves - we still haven't even seen the Bacara wave anywhere! We found out yesterday how to order some of the Darth Mickey Star Wars Weekend exclusive plush online! Tim's brother works at DisneyWorld and he gave us the scoop - I can forward the website on to anyone who is interested. They retail for $12.99 (not $45 like on ebay!), and the orders won't ship until September. On a non-collecting related note, how ridiculous was it that "Luke, I am your father." didn't make it into the top 100 movie quotes of all time? We were shocked. That's about it for now - MTFBWY.”

UPDATE: "Just as we were grumping about not finding anything, we found a bunch today! Before I start on that though - no offense taken Dom. I (Amy) usually do most of the typing, and I am not NEARLY the Star Wars expert as Tim (probably because I'm so much younger ). He immediately pointed out my mistake as well. Perhaps you are right - but they did put in "Play it, Sam. Play 'As Time Goes By'" from Casablanca, even though everyone thinks its "Play it again Sam." (including me!). Sorry, I digress, but I still think it was an injustice.

Today, we ventured out to Target in Fenton and we found the Bacara wave - they had probably at least 5 of each (Bacara, R2D2, and Mustafar Anakin). We also snagged another clone deluxe 3 pack - they had several of those too. Lots of other of waves 2 and 3 deluxe figures - even a Vader on the table. They also had the newest Playskool Jedi Force figures - we passed on them for now, but we're already contemplating another trip out there. They had Vader, Mace Windu, Yoda, and the new Luke. They also had 2 of the newer MicroMachines playsets that look like ships - we really like those, but $19.99 seems a little steep."

Area Report from Massachusetts
Area Report from MassachusettsWhat's going on Troops? It's been sometime since I last checked in. I hope all is well. In the metro west area of Massachusetts (Franklin, Milford, Oxford, Worcester, etc.) it has been pretty slow. Some toys have started to show up in the last few weeks, but as soon as they are put out they disappear. Last week I was able to find all 3 figures in the Crispy Anakin wave at the Westborough Wal-Mart. The Tarkin wave has only showed up once, and Tarkin is the last figure I need to be caught up with. Still haven't seen the 500th Vader or any of the new Unleashed yet. That's all for now. Take care everyone.

24/7 S.C.A.L.P. Trooper“Here's a store report for 6/24/05. I went to see Batman Begins which by the way is a great flick. After the film, I decided to check out the stores for any new SW items.

Wal-Mart (Gurnee, IL) “has the new Mace Windu, Chewbacca, & Clone Trooper Force Battlers. However, no new basic figures. They also have Darth Tater in stock.

The rest of the stores were also lacking of newer figures. That's all for now. The scalpers are pretty think up here, if the Bacara wave is showing I'm not finding it.”

Sandtrooper Tampa Sal Reports: 1st Time Trooper on the Line!
“I've never written before (primarily because I never seem to find anything worth reporting in my area) but this morning I found what I guesstimate to be) at least 8 cases of the Bacara wave at the Wal-Mart on Dale Mabry highway and 1-275 in Tampa, FL. I picked up a #50 Anakin and a Bacara, and there were at least 10-15 of each when I left. Worth checking out! United We Find!”

The Pride of Boise!“Hey Troops! Sithryan reporting in! Found Bacara, R2 electronic, and Toasted Anakin at Wal-Mart today, but not in the quantities as mentioned in previous posts from other parts of the country. There were about 3 Bacaras, 6 R2's and 4 Anakins left. Also, they had 6 clone army packs. Had to pass due to financial constraints, or I'd have picked up extras for the troops. Sandtrooper Aantmanntooine Reports:
“SW Virginia – After a couple of dry weeks, Target snuck out a case or two of new deluxe and I was able to pick up Red, Blue, and Green highlighted Clone Trooper 3-Packs. Green is by far the best paint job, as it resembles the blue highlighted troopers that sat outside the Jedi Temple. For those keeping score: red highlights are on the left trooper, blue highlights on the right trooper, and the green highlights are on the middle guy. Target also put out one case of character cups on Monday. I don’t see them over-ordering these guys like last year’s cups, so you may never see these guys make it to clearance. $12.99 is steep, however.”

“Hello Troopers. I was able to find the Clone Trooper 3- pack at my Target in Menifee, CA. It was the one with the brown spotted clone. Except for hunting down the different clone colors 3-packs I’m finished with deluxe for now.”

Sandtrooper Bobafred Reports:
Desert Warfare“Bobafred chiming in from the valley in So Cali With Some Lava Hot. Just wanted to drop some 411 on my latest bounty... I ran into 30 cases of Ani super crisp, Bacara, and R2-D2. It seems like Hasbro has really trying to get this out for every one! Wal-Mart Porter Ranch was the host store with a super bin, and pegs filled to the rim. After a little reconnaissance in the S.F.V., and greater Los Angeles I am very shocked to see all the empty/bone dry shelves of Hasbro Star Wars product. It’s so rough that it is really flying off the shelf in all stores! The hype is at its peak out here in So Cali, that some ones grandma was caught dashing through the aisles. As you all know Bobafred likes to keep the Troops smiling so here we go. I kind of had to hold back on this till I secured my Bounty so here we go. 500 Vader hitting Toys R Us. O.K. I guess you all knew that but did you know you could track it with DCPI 123778! For those troops who cant get out I have two extra sets of Ani, Bacara, R2D2, Emperor Palpatine Blue Saber variant, Red & Royal Guard, Target Exclusive Clone, 500 Vader. In need of Unleashed Anakin first issue, Padme, and Jedi Luke. Clone Wars Red Arc Trooper non-animated, and red clone animated. Saga R2-D2 in flight. Drop me a jingle so we can work it out!”

Sandtrooper ACPin Reports: Same Sith, New Station!
It's been a long time Troopers, I've recently switched webhost providers and the new site is up and running. The old site will die a natural death in a few days but things will get migrated to the new site as time goes by. Here are the latest works:

Mustafar MissionMustafar Mission: Anakin contemplates the impact of his mission amidst the apocalyptic landscape formed by the lava flow from the erupting volcanoes in the fiery world of Mustafar.

Lava DroidLava Droid: Build your own from the simple recipe provided.

Clone AssaultClone Assault: A couple of Jedi with an army of clones on a mission in the outer rim territories launch an assault in the palatial grounds of the separatist leaders.

For those of you who haven't been in awhile or have just heard of ACPin and his amazing Lego products, see more work from ACPin here.

Plo Koon's Ride
Plo Koon's RideThe vehicle that Plo Koon would die in, his blue and gray Jedi Starfighter, was recently announced that it would not be produced for sale in the United States. Target has now taken up the slack, and will be the exclusive retail chain to sell this vehicle. It seems to be the same one we saw in the Saga versions, but maybe Hasbro has added a new feature or two that would make purchasing this ship worth our while. For the moment, it doesn't appear to include a Plo Koon action figure, but it sure would have been nice to see a new Plo Koon for this rehashed ride.

Sandtrooper Kevin Reports:
“Hi Troops! It’s been awhile but Brighton MI is strong in the Force tonight. Meijer still had a couple sets of the Tarkin wave. Target had at least 6 sets of the Bacara wave as of 6:00pm. Looked like they just finished filling the shelves, they were packed full. Here’s something else I found. The #48 R2 I found at Target 2 days ago had a solid bubble with just the button hole, the one I picked up tonight at Target had the cut outs on the outside bubble that look like sound waves. Another variant? Anyways, hurry over there if you’re in the area and pick them up while they are still there! United We Find!”

Sandtrooper Dead Hero Reports: Hot Lava Flowin' Through the Quarry!
Who's Dead?“Hey Troops! Big scores today at the Quarry shopping center in LaGrange, Illinois (Hodgkins/Countryside) on my lunchtime run. Wal-Mart had at least twenty, yes twenty of each of the new figures No. 48-50, each looking very good and they threw in the Jabba's dungeon sound effect on the R2-D2. Target in the same plaza had the same new wave, albeit in fewer numbers, and had deluxe no-shine table Vaders and both all-white and red-trim Clone three-packs. Thanks to Lord Darth Spice for the theatrical release Father's Day posters and for helping me abscond with a Tarkin on a north Illinois Knight Rider run. To the Troopers who have sent payment or trade booty for BK Darth Vaders: I'm sending parcels this weekend. If you haven't sent payment, I haven't run out, so drop me a line if interested. Looking for an animated blue-trim Clone for trade. Scalpers blow their engines fleeing from my pursuit!”

    Sandtrooper DarthPharaoh Reports:
Sandtrooper DarthPharaoh Reports:"DarthPharaoh checking in NE of Hotlanta. It's been slow here lately but Targets around here are finally getting real amounts of the newest Deluxe figures. Last night I picked up the Crab Droid to go with my Spider Droid and Stass Allie. Still no luck on the Trooper pack but just a matter of timing I guess as three Targets had the other three. Still no sign at all of the Tarkin or Bacara wave, but if form holds true at Target they should start to show up in a week or so. Target has also had the new Blockade Runner and Grievous' Flagship sets and new cups though I don't collect those. Nothing new at all at our local Wal-Marts or TRU who are both getting low on any figures, except for the Neimoidian Warriors who seem to reproduce on the pegs (that must be a sight!). On a different note, is there anyone who is going to Comic-Con that can help me with a Holo Leia? Please let me know, you're my only hope! Death to all scalpers! I'm out."

    Anakin Skywalker Has... Evolved!
He Has... Evolved!Anakin Skywalker was once a young Padawan learner under the close guidance of Obi-Wan Kenobi. He learned much from the great Jedi Master, and upon proving himself he was granted the rewarding title of Jedi Knight. Soon after, he was winning battle after battle for the Jedi Order, and sadly he was never promoted to the high ranking of Jedi Master. By not making that particular rank, it drove Anakin toward the path of the Dark Side of the Force. With the guidance from Chancellor Palpatine, Anakin turned into Darth Vader, and betrayed the Jedi.

Hasbro is proud to announce a new line of Star Wars action figures, with the brand new concept called "Evolutions." In this exciting new 3-pack you will receive Anakin Skywalker from Episode II and III, and also the transformed Anakin Skywalker who is then only known as Darth Vader. Be sure to check out the exciting image of this set and read more about this here.

Sandwatch Action Figure Reviews: Anakin Skywalker
Hey Troops, Sandwatch Action Figure Reviews have been updated with Revenge of the Sith figure #2 Anakin Skywalker with Lightsaber Atack. We have seen many Anakin Figures before, but what could make this different from the rest of the pack. What makes the fall of Darth Vader so interesting? Does the right arm have a Lightsaber jammed up inside of it? Or does the arm fall off everytime you touch it? Could they really do that bad again Troopers? See why Anakin Skywalker with Lightsaber Attack is the chosen one but could have a value cut from Costcutters! You can also find out why Sandwatch Action Figure review is the most brutally honest review online. Feel free to offer your own feedback about the RotS collection. Until then enter if you dare!

Nobody can write 'em like I can, I'll take a sucka bound rehash and put his head in the sand! I'm BAD!! Cool Spice

    Sandtrooper Jesse Reports:
“Hello troopers. Just wanted to let everyone know I was able to find some new figures. I went to the Wal-Mart in Murrieta on Friday and they had one Tarkin left. I left him though because the mold on his chest had 2 really big scratches on it. Hoping they would put out more I went the next day and got lucky with the Bacara wave. I scored an R2-D2 #48 and Comm. Bacara. #50 Anakin was sold out so I went on Sunday again to see if they put him out and they did have more of the Bacara wave but only the R2 was left. It seems Wal-Mart is the place to be since they're restocking every day. That’s it for now.”

Sandtrooper Kevin Clark Reports:"It's getting "HOT" again in Jersey and not just the figures. Today I saw the Crispy Anakin, Bakara and R2 at Wal-Mart in Marlton and also the Green Clone Three pack. My Target in Cherry Hill has the new ROTS cup sets. I am tring to find out when the toy transition or revision will be set to make way for the Evolution and 500th figures. If I find out I'll pass it along. Just remember the dates are not written in stone. So remember if a reset is July 2nd, don't expect to walk in July 3rd to new figures."

What Happened to Shaak Ti?We've all seen Revenge of the Sith, and many of us have wondered what happened to Shaak Ti. Did she die in battle? Did she survive the Jedi massacre brought on by the clone troopers? Did she end up fighting Count Dooku or the military leader of the Separatist Army, General Grievous? If you're a Hyperspace member you'll be able to learn the true story behind Shaak Ti, and why she wasn't seen in the film. Read what really happened to her here.

    Sandtrooper SoCal Dom Reports:
One of SoCal's Finest!“It has been a few weeks since I have posted anything, so I thought I would let everyone know that things are beginning to hit out here in So Cal. Inland Empire troopers, be on the lookout; I found the Bacara wave today and purchased a second set from the Wal-Mart in Murrieta. I showed up just as they were being placed on the shelves (about 4:30 pm) right after I got off work. That, by the way, is an extremely unusual time to do so. They had 4 cases, each containing 2 each of the 3 new figures. The extra set I have came straight from the case. I would like to trade these 3 for the Tarkin wave if someone has an extra set or can get an extra set. In addition, I also found the clone trooper 3-pack in red-brown color at the Target in Menifee and was also able to pick up an extra one in excellent C-9 to C-9.5 condition. I would like to trade my extra one for one of the other 3-pack color variants that are out there. There was also the Crab Droid, Spider Droid, Stass Allie, an entire village of Neimoidian Warriors (about 30 or so) and what appeared to be the remnants of the Bacara wave, which I left behind. Any troopers want to help? Send me an email with your offers. I also wanted to shout out to a fellow trooper named Kirk Black from Maryland. If nobody has dealt with him before, he is trustworthy and will come through for you. Trooper Sithryan has also helped out in more ways than one. Thanks guys!”

    Sandtrooper rogueclone0915 Reports:
"Things here are pretty bad. There have been no Clone Trooper 3-packs in sight, the stores here are only up to 45 or so on the releases. Now that the "other prequel" is out, shelf space is really limited. Target and Wal-Mart both are cutting back, and figures are really hard to find. I do not hold out hope of ever seeing a Commander Bacara or an Anakin Mustafar, let alone a Tarkin. Any help would be appreciated."

    Happy Fathers Day:
Can we go see Revenge of the Sith again Dad?I’d like to wish each and every Trooper out there a Happy Fathers Day. We hope our enlisted officers take time out and enjoy their families. It’s been quite a year and hopefully we’ll all be rewarded. So whether it’s just another great Fathers Day or it’s your very first one, try to get out and do something special with your loved one. I’d especially like to say thanks for my own children Tyler, Caleb and Kaitlin. While some days are better than others, some days I laugh and some I cry. I don’t think I would even be alive today if I didn’t step up to the plate and be a Father to the three of you. For many of us, our kids helped us make the decison to get away from our self-destructive life styles and forced us to settle down and find hobbies like Star Wars Collecting. Happy Fathers Day Troopers! United We Find...

S.C.A.L.P. Foreign Legion“Collecting has been going well (mind you a little full tilt lately due to all the new product coming out, ^#&$%^#$ U.S. Exclusives really tick off this Canucklehead but I've kept up to speed thanks to some really good people south of the border). Canada-wise we've seen every basic figure through 44 and deluxe 1-8 except for variants - No blue guards, No dark Wookiee Warriors, No blue Vulture Droids. The only exclusive that we've had the chance to buy at retail was Holo Yoda. We've had the chance to get all the vehicles and the Mustafar set - No TRU variant Ani fighters with figures though. They might still show up. No Evolution sets up here yet, but I haven't read that they're down there either. I was really happy with the movie, I managed to stay about 90% spoiler free and was really surprised with how most of the stuff came about. My first impression was great, and now that I've seen it a few more times I'm still satisfied. Sorry for not writing for such a long time, but I’ve been very busy. Congrats to Darth Spice and his new cyber Galactic Empire! Until next time Troops!”

Target:(Waukegan, IL) “had the Tantive IV & Federation Cruiser Micro Machines playsets. That's all the new stuff I saw this morning. Everything else consists of figures up to #44, & lots of Vader Helmets. No sign of the Tarkin wave or newer 12-inch figures. That's all for now. Later.”

    Sandtrooper Mike Hodge Reports:
Sandtrooper Mike Hodge Reports:"Hey guys, bigmikehodge here in Cincy, Ohio, with a long overdue store report. Went out yesterday and found plenty of the Tarkin wave at two different Wal-Mart stores. Target and Toys 'R Us were both busts. I went out this morning and to my surprise I found 3 of the green Clone Trooper 3 packs at the same Wal-Marts as yesterday. If anyone can help me out with a red Clone Trooper pack I would really be grateful. Thanks a lot."

    Sandtrooper Darth Fish Reports:
"Been pounding the streets hard in the Elgin, IL area and it's been pretty grim! Did find 2 blue Royal Guards (bought them)and found 2 Vaders(#11), but gave them to some kids looking through the bin at TRU in Schaumburg. They actually had the best selection of most stores. Anyone looking for Clone Commanders that's the place to go. Hit Randall Rd. from St. Charles to Crystal Lake and found General Grievous and Boba Fett cups at Super Target. They also had Han Solo and Yoda cups along with the new wave of deluxe figures (except Clone 3-pack). All Meijer's are totally bare. Can't seem to find the new wave of basic figures anywhere either. Hit K-Marts in Downers Grove, Crystal Lake and Bloomingdale. Only decent finds were at Bloomingdale store. SP Anakin fighter, 12" Clone Trooper and Unleashed General Grievace (bought 2 of each). Oh, also found 12" Barris Offee at Crystal Lake TRU and at Super Target in Algonquin. Picked up a 12" General Grievace at Super Target in St.Charles. Where ever I went Clone Pilots and Wookie Warriors (both colors) were plentiful. Now maybe someone out there might be able to help me out! I'm looking for a carded Unleashed Darth Maul, blue saber Palpatine, Target Clone Trooper, TRU Yoda and of course Lava Vader. Well I hope this helps out some fellow Troopers!!! Darth Fish out!"

    Question from Sandtrooper Darth Knotty
"What's up Troops! Gotta quick question that I think I know the answer to already. Are the ROTS figures moving from West to East? Out here in North Carolina, it's been the same old thing for the last few weeks. From the posts that I've read off of Sandtroopers.com, it would appear that those on the west coast seem to be catching all the newest waves before anyone else. Just curious... Darth Knotty."

S.C.A.L.P. Costal Defender“Hi Troops, Donna from So Cal with a long overdue report. Finally getting back into the swing of things after a 10-day vacation in Orlando, FL, which included the first SW Weekend at the MGM Studios. I would like to thank Dustrho for setting up the link to my report and pictures from that event. As to store reports, here is what I have found in the last two weeks. At Target, scored the Sith Attack and Mustafar Duel Battle Sets, Han Solo and Yoda cup sets, and the third wave of deluxe figs except for the Clonetrooper 3-pack. At TRU, I was able to find one set of the Tarkin wave and the #2 Anakin w/pink saber. At Wal-Mart, I was only able to find #48 R2D2. Next, I would like to shout "Thanks" to two fellow troopers, Robert Amid and Danilo Rose, for our recent trades. Lastly, I have another trade offer. I was able to snag a couple of extra exclusive pins from the SW Weekend. They are the Opening Day Pin and the Logo Pin. I am looking for Clone Wars Kit Fisto, Saesee Tiin, and Clone Troopers (facing right and left), Unleashed Stormtrooper, Post-OTC Sandtrooper, and any of the ROTS Clonetrooper 3-packs. So Tell Me... Who's Your Daddy? If you don't have plans for this Father's Day weekend you might want to visit to your local movie theater to see Revenge of the Sith again. Why? Well, participating movie theaters will be giving away a free "Who's Your Daddy?" movie poster. The post has Darth Vader holding his left hand up as if he were just about to choke you to death, and in the background you see the firey molten planet of Mustafar. Sandtrooper Clonetroopertamer Reports:
"Wanted to say I really liked your site, and I signed up today as a matter of fact. Wanted to let your group know that if they are looking for R4-G9, they can find it online at Toys 'R Us. I sent the one Sandtrooper the message about it, but wanted to let the rest of your forum know. Guess the site is really Amazon.com, but who cares. I believe they also have Tion Medon if anyone is interested. I also wanted some advice on a recent find at a Wal-Mart I came across. They were selling what I assume were Star Wars Trilogy figures of Anakin beside some type of screen. They were only 50 cents and also had Jango Fett, package was shot, but figure was complete. Is it worth it to buy the rest of the Anakin’s, they had about 20. They also had some Cantina Encounter figures and I was wondering about the values of those too. Would appreciate any information Sandtroopers.com could provide. Thanks."

First off I'd like to welcome you to the site. Secondly, thank you for sharing your store report with us, because these reports from our members do help other members fill in the gaps of their collections. Thirdly, I'm not entirely sure what the Star Wars Trilogy figure set is like, but the only thing I can think of are those three separate 3-pack sets when the Star Wars Trilogy came out on DVD. Are the boxes black and a light silver color? You might want to ask that same question over in our forums. Again, welcome to the site!

I Think I'm Going to Get Sick!
Barf Bags Promoting ROTS?!?"You've got to be kidding me, right?" That was the immediate reaction I had when I read this article over at the Official Site this morning. In a nutshell, Virgina Airlines will be offering four differently designed barf bags on their Virgin Atlantic flights. Head of Media of Virgin Atlantic Lysette Gauna says, "The reaction has been really positive. Some crew will make passengers aware of them, others allow them to discover them themselves -- and of course there are also some people who, from the press reports, are aware of them already and eager to get their collection going." I can tell you right now that this is something I will NOT be adding to my collection.

    ROTS Video Game Reviewed... Again
ROTS Video Game Reviewed... AgainThe Revenge of the Sith video game has been reveiewed again, and this time it's by online media source Timesleader.com (northeastern Pennsylvania's home page). Their writer, Mat Giordano, gave the game a pathetic 2 out of 5 star rating, but did a pretty good job at explaining his rating. He was quoted by saying, "With compromised graphics, a loosely-wound storyline which only vaguely follows the plot of the film and less than desirable voice acting, this may be one of Star Wars' biggest merchandising debacles ever." Read his full review here, and don't forget to voice your opinions about the game in our forums.

    Sandtrooper Observation: Bail Carlucci!?!
Who bailed on Us?Has it already been one month since our resident Sith Lord resigned and left the prison and all the inmates to me? To honor our one month Anti-Crypt, Sandtrooper Dan prepared an Observation to commeorate this event! We are looking forward to this summer and the pre-production of Sandblast is under way. For our fifth birthday party we are planning a month long celebration for all the Troopers who are not going to bail. Real Troopers who Stand Proud and are in it for the long haul. We will move along and hopefully things will continue to run smooth. When the stakes are low and the chips are high, always remember to cash in, but until then United We Find.
