ROTS Keeps Rising
Spider Who?The long holiday weekend added $70 million to the outstanding total of over $271 million in just a few days shy of 2 weeks since it's debut. The runners up were "Madigascar", and "The Longest Yard" with a respectable $60 million each. Overall, ticket sales have actually dropped for ROTS by 42%, but a 20th Century Fox executive says "It's a relatively small decline considering that blockbuster debuts often are followed by audience erosion of 50% to 60%. When you get that many people in on the first weekend, you almost have to fall that much." I can say that I have seen this movie 3 times and plan another viewing in the near future. It's great to actually look for all of the easter eggs. Check out the many areas at from all of the ROTS coverage, to a Lucasfilm Q+A, to a write up from Celebration III. Now is the best time to be a fan of Star Wars. It's great seeing this movie come full circle with the original trilogy.

Sandtrooper Dead Hero Reports: Sending Scalpers Into a Tailspin!
Who's Dead?“Troops, I went out and did the Knight Rider run yesterday, traversing north to Racine, WI and back down to Waukegan, IL. Target, K-Mart, and Toys R Us in Racine all came up empty, as well as Super Wal-Mart in Sturtevant. If I was in a bad mood by then, I was at least feeling crabby by the time I returned to home base, finding nada at Zion K-Mart, but the Wave 3 Deluxe Spider Droid and Crab Droid at Waukegan Target. Hoping to find more deluxe today on the lunch runs south of Chicago. Thanks to Sandtroopette Donna and Trooper Tucson for the recent communications and mailings regarding the BK Vaders. I've filed all the requests and still have more to go around, so let me know! As much as some folks may not want to eat at BK, people are winning the bigger prizes in the Star Wars promo (I handed out a cell phone Friday night). So if a Troop wins the Lincoln Navigator, he or she could equip it with anti-scalper armaments and a custom front end push/pursuit beam to execute a push into the corner of a scalper's car to force it into a spin, thus disorienting fleeing scalpers and disabling their vehicles! Whatever your method of scalper reprisal, begin today!”

Sandtrooper Aantmanntooine Reports: Deep S.C.A.L.P. Recon
“I took a trip from Virginia to New York City last week, so I have some wide spread reports. Swung by a Winchester, VA Wal-Mart on my way up and they had about a dozen #41 SA Clones, as it looks like they have started to ship this guy heavily. Saturday, I roamed around the Big Apple a bit, only to stumble across a Dooku Saber Anakin (all his fingers, red saber) at KB’s. They also had plenty of Mustafar playsets and the VOTC 12-inch Chewbacca as well as the ROTS 12-inch Chewbacca. At the Times Square TRU, it was an absolute madhouse with so many families looking through the pegs of ROTS figs I couldn’t take a look. However, in another section of the store, I found that they had a “few” Holographic Yoda in stock for $9.99.”

Sandtrooper Sithryan Reports:
Sandtrooper Sithryan Reports:"Greetings Troops! Located the Tarkin wave at Wal-Mart, and some scalper scum folded the tops of the cards over. This was obviously intentional. Hey scalper scum! If you can't buy it, leave it alone! We deserve to be able to buy toys that aren't damaged intentionally! Anyway, managed to get a Tarkin and an Ask Aak that were hiding on the bottom shelf. ALSO- I need a Lava Vader. Can anyone help me? I have an Ephant Mon to trade, or I'd pay a fair price. Let me know! I wasn't able to get one. Our Targets sold out the first 30 seconds!"

One of SoCal's Finest!“Just thought I would let everyone know that I have 3 extra "vanilla" flavored Wookiee Warriors, 2 Destroyer Droids and an AT-TE Gunner for anyone who needs these. All in C-9.5+ condition. I also have a Vader on operating table in pretty good condition about a C-9+. If anyone is interested, drop me a line and maybe we can work out a sale or trade. Sandtrooper Pat Reports:
“Recently at Wal-Mart in Merrillville, IN, I found two Episode I figures, Darth Maul and Naboo Royal Guard. They were no longer in the system, but the manager looked it up and sold it to me for $6.74, saying that Star Wars items never go on clearance (Anyone recall the OTC Lobots for $2?). I bought the Darth maul just for a fun piece. The package is in probably a C-8 condition, a little faded, but okay otherwise. I intend to open it up for my shelf collection unless anyone needs this figure. I'll hold off on opening it until next weekend in case anyone wants it. Just goes to show, keep searching the usual places and you might find unusual things!”

Sandtrooper Mike Hodge Reports:
Sandtrooper Mike Hodge Reports:"Hi guys! Big Mike Hodge here with a report from Cincinnati. Nothing new at Wal-Mart or Toys 'R Us but Target did get in the new wave 3 deluxe figures. I picked up the all white Clone Trooper 3-packs and a Stass Allie pack. If you find them make sure you check the paint job on Stass Allie, because two of the three they had at Western Hills had crazy eyes and sloppy paint on their heads. Another guy and myself were there before a local traders world scalper came back. We had all the new stuff in our hands so he couldn't get anything. Keep up the fight and don't let the scalpers win. That's all for now. Big Mike Hodge out."

From the depths of Dixie to my Northern Spots, You know it's all good when Scalpers Drop!“DarthPharaoh checking in. Just completed my 3rd trade thanks to this site. Kudos to Jedimaster-C in Bama! This site has the greatest collectors anywhere. Just had to say that. When I first found this little niche of cyberspace I had my doubts (thought, ebay in disguise), but you all are the best and I’m proud to be a Sandtrooper! On the collecting side, I’ve been able to army build SA Clones thanks to Target. They seem to be the only ones stocking more than 1 at a time around here. Otherwise not much to report, Toys R Us here doesn’t seem to realize there’s figures above # 32 and Wal-Mart is hit or miss. But I head to Vegas tomorrow and if my leaving Atlanta luck holds up I should come back broke thanks to the tables, but with some of the June 1st items in my bags. United We Find and, as regulars know by now...death to all scalpers!”

“Hey Troops, Well, I visited 4 Meijer, 4 Kohl, 2 Target, 2 Wal-Mart and 1 Toys R Us today. Still couldn’t find #11 Vader or #23 Guard Red or Blue. Went from Howell MI to the upper part of Livonia. Pretty much all the stores were well stocked, mostly with all the same figs #1-10, #24-34. No luck finding anything over #44 but that maybe just because they are not out yet here. Kohls in Brighton had a ton of #41 and a couple Dookus, which seem to be in short supply around here. Wal-Mart in Howell had 3 or 4 #38 AT-TE clones, Target in Brighton had 1. A lot of deluxe figs at Target.”

New Wave of Figures Are Out!
Sandtrooper Boba Binks Reports:Hey troops. This morning I was out and made a stop into Wal-Mart (Greenwood, IN.) As I looked over the many brown Wookiees, Destroyer Droids, Clone Troopers, Neimodian Warriors, and more I found hidden among them #45 Tarkin, #46 AskAak, and #47 Meena Tills. I picked up one of each. It looked as Wal-Mart only stocked two cases with the new figures since there were two of each. Also, the Hasbro Rep was there and I talked to her as usual. If you want a Darth Tater you better pick it up real soon. He is going to be replaced with Spud Trooper this fall.

Sandtrooper Tom Reports:
“Hey Troopers, I keep reading about the deluxe wave being found with the Vulture Droid listed as Brown, and I was under the impression that the only variants were the striped blue and then a green one. Is there supposedly a third variant now meaning this brown one? Let me know if you have any verification on this.”

I have not heard of a brown variant, although I know there was a brown packed in with the Queen's Starship from EI. Wouldn't surprise me if this was another case of the old switcheroo.

Who's Dead?“Troops, I grabbed my deadly Sandtroopers shovel to crush stone and scalpers' skulls as I entered the Quarry Shopping Center in LaGrange, IL (Hodgkins/Countryside). I didn't need it however, because I was able to use my bare hands to easily dig a gaping hole into the wall of figures greeting me, bristling with army builders and other newer figures at the plaza's Wal-Mart. No. 41 Clone Troopers, AT-TE Gunners, Clone Commanders, blue Royal Guards, brown Vulture droid, and the corrected Anakin with Dooku saber (reported by both Pat and Tim and Amy) were all there. No sign of the speeder bike with Jedi yet. I want to thank the Troops who have requested a BK Vader, and let you all know that if you need one to just let me know. Thanks also to Jimmy Barrera who works down the hall from me in the Fuel Injectors dept., who brought me the red Royal Guard I was looking for to complete my collection. Truly, United We Find!”

The first 2 MN troopers to shoot me an e-mail can have one each. My only request is you come and pick it up as shipping these would cost a bundle and they are fairly large. (Which is why, sadly, I can't really offer them to other Troopers, unless you want a long drive) Looking forward to hearing from you!”

Sandtrooper Eric Reports:
“I read an article on CNN's money website that says that there is a watchdog group out there that are trying to get Burger King to pull the Star Wars promotion (including mainly the toys) due to the fact that the movie has a PG-13 rating. They are apparently mad that George Lucas and BK are targeting the 4-9 age group with a PG-13 movie. So the potential exists that the toys may be harder to get. Just a note to those trying to collect them. Like me!”

Yoda's Lightsaber Available this Summer!
Yoda's LightsaberFrom Master Replicas: "Size matters not... unless we’re talking about edition size that is. That’s right on May 26, exactly one week after the release of Star Wars: Episode III, we will stop taking orders on Yoda’s Revenge of the Sith Limited Edition Lightsaber. Then in approximately two weeks we will be announcing the final edition size for the LE. On that date, the edition size will be frozen in carbonite, locked away forever. And if you thought the diminutive Jedi Master’s saber saw some action in Attack of the Clones, well, after Revenge of the Sith, you’ll definitely want to add his weapon to your collection. So before Master Yoda disappears into the misty world of Dagobah, be sure to get YOUR Yoda Limited Edition Lightsaber NOW. Once it’s gone, it will be lost forever to the murky swamps of the secondary market at prices so high, you could almost buy your own ship for them."

Head on over to the Master Replicas website to order yourself one of these!

Sandtrooper Pat Reports:
“In response to a post I read earlier from Tim & Amy, according to Hasbro, the mistake is with packaging Anakin with the extra hand and Vader saber. The Dooku "Variant" is the corrected version and that is the one you will see packaged from now on. The other one with the Vader saber that almost everyone has is technically the variant, though not hard to find, so if you don't have the Dooku variant yet, be patient. It should start showing up in large numbers any day now, as it has in my neck of the woods in Northwest Indiana. I have seen it al all stores.”

“Hi there! First, I would like to thank you guys for the nice t-shirt...I got one while walking the streets of Indy during Celebration 3, and I have been checking your site every since. Anyway, I wanted to know if you had any idea if I could find the set in the box they were selling at the Celebration 3 store and where...I checked the site and they had no information there, so I thought I would ask. I noticed K&C Collectibles still had the Celebration 1 badges, so I thought perhaps some site might have the C3 set...any info is helpful...thanks for the great site, and may the force be with you!”

Sandtrooper Jorge Reports:
“Hey Troops! I hope you get this on time. I just purchased (2:30 PM ET) a Convention 3 talking Vader at You have to be a member, but there is a 3-month trial membership with the Early bird kits from Wal-Mart. I enjoyed the ROTS movie, it was a nostalgic feeling ending with "the beginning", like going back to 1977... MTFBWY!”

Sandtrooper Dom Reports:
Anyone have a 12-inch Plo Koon?“Troops, East Central Wisconsin reporting in: First of all ROTS gets better every time I see it. Favorite moment: when the Emperor's "little green friend" (and I ain't talkin' 'bout Kermit) dispatches two royal guards with barely a flick of the hand. Guess it is easy being green. Anyway, picked up two AT-TE gunners as well as 12" Shaak-Ti and 12" Bariss Offee at Wal-Mart. They also had both flavors of Wookiee Warriors and all figs through #44, which I already had. At Target recently, picked up Vulture droid vehicle (brown). Just need Stass Allie on bike to get caught up. And Hey, where was Mon Momtha and Shaak-Ti? Time to carry out order 67 (kill all scalpers).”

ROTS Ruling the Galaxy!
Yoda about to kick some butt!It shouldn't be a surprise to most people, but Revenge of the Sith broke many new records over the weekend. It broke the single-day record by selling $50 million on Thursday, and it sold approximately $158 million during the first four days (Thursday through Sunday). That is an incredibly huge amount of money! Check out the different stories written about the successful opening weekend of ROTS below, and don't forget to share your opinions of the movie here.

    Sandtrooper dustrho Reports:
Hey Troopers! It's dustrho here reporting in from the Chicagoland area, and it's been quite a great weekend here. The first thing that made it great is that I saw Revenge of the Sith for the second time yesterday, and the other great thing was that I found a lot of cool Star Wars toys. I picked up several Clone Commanders, Neimoidian Soldiers, Wookiee Warriors, Clone Troopers (#41), AT-TE Gunners, and even the new deluxe Stass Allie with Swoop Bike. There were many other items that were swarming the shelves at Target and Wal-Mart, such as Darth Vader on Operating Table, Vulture Droids, ARC-170 Starfighrers, AT-RTs, Droid Tri-Fighters, and tons of new figures. If you guys and gals haven't made a trip out to your local stores recently, you might want to take another look. There usually isn't this much stuff on the shelves and pegs by the time I get to the stores, but it was truly a great feeling seeing so many cool Star Wars toys ready to take home with me. Until next time, United We Find!

Sandtrooper & Troopette Tim and Amy Report: Extensive S.C.A.L.P. Recon!
You can keep Rob and Amber we got Tim & Amy“Good to be back in the Loop - we have checked out many Wal-Mart and Targets from St. Louis to Pryor, OK (no kidding). We managed to pick up #41 and 42 in Pittsburgh, KS (only ones they had of 41-44) and we found #43 in Miami, OK. Still lacking 44, but we have faith we'll find it soon. Saw ROTS at midnight in Pittsburgh, KS, and even there all 3 screens were sold out (a town with a pop. of about 20,000 plus surrounding rural areas) - awesome. We wanted to see it again on vacation, but with only 2 local theatres, everything was sold out. I have a question about the Anakin with Dooku Saber: Has it ever been determined which figure (hand with red saber or Dooku saber) is the variant? We have one of each, but we find the hand figures everywhere and have only seen the Dooku saber version once (when we bought it). Sorry if this is old news, we just didn't remember seeing it anywhere. We are also still in need of a blue saber Palpatine if anyone has one to trade.

Also found all 4 of the wave 2 deluxe figures - we passed on the Vulture Droid, but picked up Yoda on the bug, Vader on the table, and the Clone Trooper. Got them all at a Wal-Mart in Joplin, MO. We saw Yoda at 2 stores we visited, the Trooper and Vulture Droid in several stores, and the only Vader was the one we bought. Also picked up another Target Clone in Joplin, MO (they had about 9-10). I like the Galactic Heroes line and it seems Wal-Mart stores all over have stumbled across some old cases - we picked up 2 packs of 4-LOM/Bossk and Jawa/Tusken Raider (St. James, MO), and Han/Leia and Luke/R2D2 (Joplin, MO). We also found the new releases of Kit Fisto/Mace Windu, Chewbacca/Clone Trooper, and Super Battle Droid/R2D2 at the Lebanon, MO store. In Pryor, OK we found the Playskool X-wing on clearance for $12.50 (instead of $20). We also found a second Playskool Swamp-Stompin' Yoda in Lebanon, MO and an extra Darth Tater in Pryor, OK. Miami, OK was good for a couple of older figs too - Cantina Encounter Dannik Jerriko and OTC Leia (we passed on a couple of other Cantina Encounter figs), as well as an extra AT-TE Gunner and Red Royal Guard. My favorite find of the trip though was in St. James, MO, where we picked up an Obi-Wan Unleashed figure from 2004 (same wave as Slave Leia and Jedi Luke). Thanks for bearing with our long update - it’s been a great vacation, but its good to be back!”

What is the future of Star Wars and Hasbro?
Hello Troops! I thought that I would pass on some interesting news that I found out about, of the future of Star Wars and Hasbro. I am not saying this is all going to happen since none of it is actually confirmed by Hasbro. It is all second hand information that was passed on to me. So take this information, as you will. Just remember anything can change or happen from now until any of this actually hits store shelves. While we usually do not deal in rumor, I felt it necessary to share this with everyone, but please remember this may or may not happen.

First off we all recall Wal-Mart has the early bird kits with the first 4 figures. Well Hasbro is going to be doing all of the first 12 figures. Hence the Vintage Figure display that is available through the Star Wars Fan Club and other.

For the new upcoming stuff a new package design is in the works, that looks much like the vintage stuff. I hear that they are even going to have kids on the box playing with the toys. So a nice retro look for late 2005/2006 is coming. With the new package design I hear each movie will have it's own design. I heard that after #56 of the ROTS line 58 figures are coming. That is like nine or so figures for each movie. We know that a Tonnika Sister will be in the new line.

There are more Clone Wars Cartoon Figures in the works.

There are three new vehicles for 2006 and some old rehashes. Not sure what they will be. Maybe we will finally get the Cloud Car.

K-Mart is going to have an exclusive figure late this year! It is being rumored to be a painted Clone Trooper like the Target one that is out there. I am hearing it is going to be the Blue ones that Anakin (Vader) leads to the Jedi Temple. This would make sense since K-Mart is Blue Light Special.

If I hear more I will be sure to pass on the news. I guess the thing to remember is things can change from now until the new stuff is actually out. So again take this information, as you will.

    Sandtrooper Dom Reports:
“Thursday night after going to see ROTS, I stopped by the Wal-Mart in Lake Elsinore, Ca. Hoping to find new items; I was able to find the new Wookiee Warrior figure. Knowing from reports that I had read that there was a light and dark version, it did not surprise me when I saw a light and a dark version. The catch, however, was that the darker version looked very similar to Chewbacca! I went ahead and purchased both and made an extra stop at the Target in Murrieta, Ca. Once there, I found the real dark version aside from the one I had just bought with what appeared to be Chewbacca. Now I realize that people actually spend time opening figures and replacing them with older ones, and I figured this was no different.

When I got home and carefully looked at the seal, I noticed that the original glue markings on the edges of the bubble of my regular figures and those on this figure were essentially identical. The take marks do not appear to have been tampered with on back, and they appear to be in their original place. I really believe that this was a mistake by Hasbro, and was hoping that somebody may have found something like this. The date stamp on the back is 50731, which matched the other Wookiee Warrior figures on the pegs in that store. I assure you that I do not do this kind of thing, I am nowhere near that talented, nor am I that cheap. I will say this, if someone switched it, they spent an unbelievable amount of time making this look the way it does, and they really are good at doing this. Here are a picture and another of a close-up to see for yourself. What do you think?”

    Sandtrooper Jon Reports:
“Big variation news troopers! I spoke to Julia in customer service at Hasbro America re: the Wookieee variation-no variation Both Wookieee colors are correct per they are both in the movie, along with others, there are no exact production #s for both but the Wookiee is not a variation. Julia said that they were made that way so fans could build a correct Wookiee army if they chose, so looks like Hasbro is looking out for army builders. Just thought I would share this info with you all! Glad to be back online!”

    Sandtrooper Big Mike Hodge Reports:
Legacy Trooper“Hey guys, Big Mike Hodge here in Cincinnati with a store report. Wal-Mart in western hills had the chocolate Wookiee warrior 1 #41 clone trooper and a bunch of the rest of the figures from that wave. Toys R Us had nothing but the exclusive Anakin Starfighter. Target was pretty much the same as Wal-Mart. I did find 3 of the Vulture Droid in the tan color at the Biggs in Harrison so there is a variation on this figure. That’s it for this store report. I will keep checking and if you haven’t seen RotS, what are you waiting for?”

Nothing new nothing exciting anywhere other than 2 Target Clones I picked up the other day for trading purposes. So if anyone needs 1 let me know, I still need plenty of Saga and POTJ figures if you have any of that to trade, otherwise Sith was amazing, Lucas goes out in serious style. I’ll still have to see it a couple more times though to decide where it is in my order of preference, though there’s a good chance it may be my favorite!! I’m out, and remember.... “I have been to many of the Targets in the Northern Subs of Detroit and #41 - #44 are showing up with #41 being the hardest to find (I found 4 figs out of 5 stops) I have found a lot of dark brown #43 Wookiees and only one Lt brown one. But, it sounds like the reverse is true in many places. Is one more rare than the other? I need a Blue Saber #35 Palpatine if someone can sell or trade one let me know what you need. Thanks and MTFBWY.”

Jeff, I've only found the lighter version in my area. It has been a very hot topic in our forum lately.

I made a stop this morning at my local Murrieta Wal-Mart and I was surprised to see the shelves stocked with all new figures. They had all 4 deluxe wave 2 figures as well as plenty of 41-44, including a half dozen or so AT-TE Tank Gunners, which by the way is the first time I have seen this figure. Glad to say that I am all caught up now. Just waiting on the newest Unleashed figures. I also grabbed the Anakin Starfighter from Toys R Us on Tuesday. Sandtrooper Jedi Hawk Reports:
Texas S.C.A.L.P. Border Patrol“Well Troops. It has begun. the last hurrah for our beloved series. I was in my local theater on Wednesday night and enjoyed almost every minute of the new film. I am ready to view it a few more times and really pick out the details soak up the experience. Although none will ever be as good as the first showing. Those are always the best with all the great fans. Enjoy this while it lasts. Now for store reporting:

Target: Best place for any basic figs over #3. Have found #41-44 several times here lately. Nice to see. Only the #43 Vanilla Wookiees so far. No more Target Clones since their first case a few weeks back. Also they have been great w/ the deluxe line. Found wave 3 there just yesterday. This morning...the pegs were filled up w/ new stock of #36-#40. Lots of AT-TE Gunners and the like. Good to take advantage of the $4.99 sale.

TRU: Well not much has changed there since April 2. They do have quite a few of the TRU Exclusive Anakin Starfighters. But they have the same basic figures since day one. Also they have some of the battle arenas. (Only place in my area that has them.) But they have lots and lots of stock; it’s just all not on the cutting edge of "new". But at this point nothing is really "old" product. Only a few days left for the 20% off coupons. Granted my store won't take it, but if yours does.... go get stuff.

Wal-Mart 1 & 2: Good for all basic figures up to #40. Not much on the large-scale vehicles at either. A few ARC-170 and no gunships. But they have a lot of product out also. One WM has nearly a 1000 (no kidding) of the Titanium series. Lots of shelf space for those guys. But they are not as good at putting out "new" items as my Target. They just have too much on the shelves right now. Overload in only the way WM can. So things are pretty stable here. Lots of stuff all over. The plastic Empire is in full force. Good luck to all. Enjoy the movie and our entire grand finale. And as always Hunt'em down, Troops.”

    Sandtrooper Dead Hero Reports:
“Hey Troopers! LaGrange, IL, I had some finds at the Quarry Shopping Center in Hodgkins/Countryside. The newest wave made its second appearance in as many weeks. Target had No. 42 Neimoidian Warrior, No. 44 Destroyer Droid, two No. 41 Clones, and a bunch of No. 43 Wookiee Warriors. They also had most of figures No. 33 through 40. At $4.99 per figure, the selection and the price, like two swords, sharpened each other. Wal-Mart at the other end of the plaza had almost exclusively all newer figures (mostly 33 through 40), with a couple Wookiee Warriors as the only figure present from 41 through 44. This Wal-Mart also had a lone 12-inch Barriss Offee. To all the Troopers who have contacted me requesting a BK Vader: I have yours set aside. I am welcoming any more requests and will gladly ship for cost plus shipping or will trade to those Troops I am able to get one for. I'll Serve You BK Gourmet. New Trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II
LucasArts has recently released a new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II. The biggest new feature of them all is that in this game you can actually fly a great number of vehichles in the air and up in space, which looks to be a lot of fun. Some of the ships that were noticable in the game were the ARC-170 Starfighter, V-Wing Fighter, TIE Interceptor and many more! Also new to the game is the ability to play a number of different Jedi and Sith, two that stuck out were Mace Windu and Darth Maul. Even though the game is expected to be released sometime this November, you can still pre-order your very own copy at Let us hear your thoughts and concerns about this over in our forums!

    Sandtrooper Devils Ewok Reports:
Doesn't play well with others!“I hope my fellow Troops had an AWESOME night like I did. My sidekick Bobby "The Rabid Rancor" Lopez and I went to Burger King before we got in line, I was able to catch up on my SW kids meal toys, and the woman asked if I had found a Vader yet, I told him a friend found me one (Thanks Dead Hero) but Bobby hadn't, so she handed him one and smiled. Bobby almost needed a change of shorts. We got in line around 3pm (#3 and #4 bay-bee!) Met a TON of cool people, a husband and his 9 month pregnant wife who prayed the baby would hold un till 5/20, and the crew behind us had the SW trivial pursuit game (after a while I think they hated me, a half hour of right answers I finally fudged an answer so we could move on to other players) the staff at Arbor Lakes 16 was cool and came and took orders for food so we wouldn't have to leave the line, and they waved the "No outside food" rule (we actually at Famous Daves Devils Spit burgers IN the theater) We were seated around 6pm around 7.

Bobby saved our seats and we drove up to the Wal-Mart, much to my army building happiness they had 5 #41 SA Clones and 2 #6 Clones. I GAVE (take that scalper scum!) 2 to Bobby. Upon seeing the #41's one of the above mentioned theater employees saw the Clones and told us it was the last one he needed to finish his collection (for now) I took him out to my car and sold him one at cost, and told him in the future to check out and our Anti-Scalping rules, hope to see him here soon. As we waited people had Lightsaber wars at the front of the theater to the cheers of the audience. In the group were several Master Replica F/X Lightsabers, my wife commented on how nice they looked as she had never seen anything but the plastic Hasbro. I told her they sold them at Borders and Best Buy and they were very cool but expensive. My wife left for popcorn, an hour passed, and she comes back to our seats and hands me. A Master Replicas F/X Darth Vader Lightsaber, she saw how impressed I was with them and went to the Borders down the street and bought me one, thus securing her Best Wife on the Planet status. I'll keep it short on the film, it was so cool, I forgot to breathe several times. Can't wait to see it again, and again, and again, and again.”

Sandtrooper Parkay Reports: Don't Sleep on the K!
It's not buttah!“Hey Troops, I keep hearing about reports of what people find at Walmart, Target and Toys r us, but don't forget to give Kmart a check every now and then. Here in Sumter SC, Kmart had the entire new wave of deluxe figs, 12-inch Grievious's, plenty of deformed figs, lots of Red Guards and althought they didn't have any figs past #36 I did pick up 2 Blue saber Palpatine's. Which I'd be willing to trade one for a #43 Wookie warrior (brown version). Also the prices are a bit higher at Kmart, but basic figures are on sale for 5.44 this week and 10% off all other star wars figures. So it's definitely worth stopping and checking Kmart on those toy runs still.”

    Sandtrooper Hoth Chad Reports:
“Went and saw the 12:01 showing and it was great! Went out looking for anything new today and here is what I found: Wal-Mart: figures 1-44 Target: one Target didn't have any new figures, except they did have 11 of the exclusive clone troopers. The stores must be able to receive more than one case of these, because last week they were out. Stopped by another Target and they had figures 1-44 and also the AT-RT. This is the first I have seen of the in our area. HothChad out.”

    Sandtrooper Dave Reports:
“Dave reporting in from Ames, IA. Target finally put out their deluxe wave 2 and some 41-44 figures. I picked up the only 41 they had. Also saw 24 (yes, 24) Target exclusive clones sitting on the pegs, so I picked up 2. When I got home I noticed the pegs had a different emblem then the other one I had. Anybody have information on these variants? Wal-Mart and K-mart only had numbers 40 and lower, with a slue of Clone Commanders, Medical Droid, etc, but no AT-TE gunners anywhere. The Target and Wal-Mart in Ankney, IA also had the same items (minus the Target exclusive).”

Dave, I do recall seeing an article relating to these variants at a few days ago.

“Stores have gotten everything in through #44 on the Northern Suburbs of Milwaukee. Things are in great shape before the movie, so good in fact that if anyone is interested in a blue saber varient Palpatine, I am willing to send him out for a great deal. Just let me know and we can work something out.”

    Sandtrooper Pat Reports:
“Starting to fill in here in NW Indiana. Target in Merrillvile had just about everything from #1-44, including the "Chocolate" Wookie Warrior, plenty of #41 Clone Trooper, but still no #38 AT-TE tank gunners, though I did score the Anakin with Dooku saber. Meijer in Merrillvile had the same. Toys R Us in Merrilville had the TRU Exclusive Anakin Starfighter, but not much else note worthy there. Wal-Mart in Merrillville had lots of #41-44, including the "Vanilla" wookie warrior. Wal-Mart in Schererville, Target in Highland, and Meijer in Highland were a little lacking as of last night. Getting pumped for the Big Show tonight!”

    Sandtrooper Keith Reports:
“I’ve been reading different posts about Troopers and their finds at local stores so I figured I would drop a line about the incredible luck I had today. First I went to Toys R Us and found 2 Vaders, a Battle Droid and a General Grievous #9. Then went to Target, which didn’t have anything on the shelf so I asked, and employee if they had anything in the back. He returned with two unopened cases. I pulled out two Vader Medical Droid, Polis Massan, and the elusive AT-TE Tank gunner. Feeling the force was with me I went down the street to a Meijers where I hit the mother load! A Neimoidian Warrior, Clone Pilot, Exploding Grievous, Clone Commander and best of all the Red Royal Guard! Pretty good for a days work. There were numerous #43 Wookiee Warriors and Clone Pilots! United We Find! ”

    Roger Ebert Reviews ROTS
Roger EbertRoger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times has written a review of Revenge of the Sith, and he gave it 3.5 out of 4 stars. His review was blunt by saying, "His reaction is that of a nice kid in a teenage comedy [about Padme's pregnancy], trying to seem pleased while wondering how this will affect the other neat stuff he gets to do. To say that George Lucas cannot write a love scene is an understatement; greeting cards have expressed more passion." He does say a lot of good things about the movie though, so read his full review here.

    Sandtrooper Jon Reports:
Description"Boston, MA: I went on a mini toy run today. Both Target and Toys R' Us had many sales including basic figures marked down to $4.99. The Toys R' Us in Somerville had the Holographic Yoda figures out, the VOTC figures marked down to $7.99, plenty of the exclusive Anakin Fighters, but no new basic figures. The Target in Somerville had figures #41-44, the Vader with operating table, no exclusive Target Clone Trooper, and one rude employee who was not friendly when I asked about the Target Clones while he was re-stocking the Star Wars figures. The Target in Everett had three empty pegs where the Target exclusive Clone Troopers should be and nothing else good. I was trying to be good and not blow money, but I broke down to get the Toys R' Us Yoda and some Clone Troopers. The kids were going nuts at Target. It's funny how they find toys appealing for different reasons than the adults do. I pointed out to one young man that figures #41-44 where out, but he was totally uninterested. He stated that the Neimodian Warrior was "freaky" looking, nor was he interested in the Super Articulated Clone Trooper stating that he already had a Clone Trooper. I'm getting totally psyched for the movie now. Ebert and Roeper gave it two thumbs up too and didn't have much bad to day about it either."

    Sandtrooper DJ Dark Side Reports:
“Found Target Ex. Clone Troopers at Lake Zurich Target on Rand. Asked for them via the DCPI, and the associate was nice to bring me out a couple. The thing is, is he brought out the entire box and asked ME where they went. I told him that they were Target exclusives and were only to be given out to the people who asked for them so that the dreaded scalp-heads wouldn't get them all. Anyway, I walked away and I overheard him talking to someone in the back, and I guess they told him to bring them all out and hang them on the pegs-UGH!. I am going to try to get a few more Sunday morning, if they're still there for any troopers that may need some! Willing to trade or sell at retail. Also, I have #'s 37-40 for anyone willing to trade or sell to someone in need, at retail of course! Thanks and great job on the site! Fellow site fan, DJ Dark Side...”

One of SoCal's Finest!“There is not much to report out here in Tatooine-like So Cal as we have seen no Target clones, hardly any 33-40 figures except a few here and there, nothing past 41, no TRU exclusive Anakin Starfighter, nor any of the second or third deluxe wave. Seems like these are more on the east coast, but definitely not out here. Kinda dry out here, just like the weather. Anyways, I wanted to shout out to a few troopers who definitely need to be recognized. First, a big shout out to Sithryan for hooking me up with some items I have been waiting a long time for, as well as some I did not even know existed. Thanks a ton! Second, to new troopers Tim and Amy from St. Louis. They were able to help me with a Target Lava Vader. You guys will fit into this site just fine. Everyone, I can vouch for them! And lastly to Darth Spice for the trade for the Sandtrooper T-shirts. I will wear them with pride, especially at the Comic Con this summer. Seems like I have made at least one trade with somebody on this site. Keep the unselfishness going.”

"Ham Yoyo here...oldie but a goodie...some may remember that name. I'm working up a list to post in the classifieds. I want to give first shot a the Troopers and not the bay.... anyway, it will be a butt load of figs and some ships and I'm selling 90% of the figs for only 2-3 bucks and shipping. I just need to get rid of some items for my back operation payments (as some of you may remember) and my wife is getting on my case about space...I'm going to work on it this weekend and hope to have it up soon...side note, I was posting here in the Vaughn days and you guys are doing amazing things with this site.... Impressive, Impressive indeed.... the wally worlds here in Myrtle Beach, SC just got a large amount of the #40 up wave. There are plenty of clones and all types (gunner was least seen). Our target was way short on troopers, I only managed to snag 1, but without opening it, hard to tell how the articulation is alright, long enough.... great people, great site...what else do you need?"

S.C.A.L.P. Ranger“Another Jersey report. The Target in Mt. Laurel NJ had the pegs busting with 41-44 today. And I'm sure they have cases in the back for the upcoming week. Now that I will be working for the bulls eye (again) I can keep the troops informed .Not toy related but with all the posts on web sites I was wondering why no one has mentioned the "cave on Dagobah and how does it tie into EPIII? Addition to Darth Pharoah report about the Hasbro toy website. I ordered the 2nd deluxe Vader when it was "in stock" and got an email saying it would be three days. Then I got an e-mail saying it was on back order. Then and e-mail saying it was unavailable. So I canceled. I have a bad feeling about this website.”

    24/7 S.C.A.L.P. Trooper“Here's a store report for 5/13/05.

Target (Gurnee, IL) “had 1 Palpatine (Light Saber Attack) with red saber. Mas Amedda & Polis Massans are showing up there as well.

Wal-Mart:(Gurnee, IL) “has plenty of Vader Medical Droids, Mas Ameddas & Polis Massans but no AT-TE Tank Gunners.

KB Toys:(Gurnee, IL) “had Clone Commanders, Clone Pilots, & Exploding Grievous but no Palpatines. They also had a couple of AT-TE Tank Gunners.

TRU:(Gurnee, IL) “has the Exclusive Anakin Starfighter. No sign of #41-44.”

I found #41-44 at the Waukegan, Il store this a.m. along with a complete restock of all vehicles. They are in the area!

    Sandtrooper DarthPharaoh Reports:
"DarthPharaoh again, it's been busy here lately in the Atlanta area. First I want to give a big shout out to Paul (wampa1500) for a smooth trade. You are the man! Storewise, TRU has gotten in the new Anakin Starfighter, and I may be partial as green is my favorite color, but I think it's the coolest one. $29.99 seems a bit pricey though. Target seems to be redoubling their efforts around here as well, except for those peskily absent Target Clones. They've got #41-44 now, even both light and dark Wookie Warriors and you'd think Clone Pilots and Commanders were pegwarmers now they had so many. Even a couple AT-TE Gunners just sitting around. On the downside, has disappointed me already. Their first day I ordered a POTC Pablo Jill and the 12" Barriss Offee (that was June 3rd) and my order is now listed as unavailable. Gonna phone 'em up and let 'em have it. To top it, they already processed my payment. They need to get their act together badly!! I'd still like one more Target Clone and I need a Blue Saber Palpy if anyone has an extra of these let me know. We can talk trade or cost plus shipping. Good luck out there and, death to all scalpers!!"

I am not having any luck on selling my Master Replicas lightsabers, and because I need to save as much money as I can I am afraid I will be leaving the internet world until we get back on our feet. I am selling these for much less than you can get them anywhere, even eBay, list on the classified forum. If anyone is interested in them I will be online until Monday, after that I will only be able to check forum when I go to the library. Thanks for the great website and everyone I have met. The Force has left me permanently I think! Take care everyone and good luck."

    Sandtrooper Giancarlo Reports:
“Hey guys this morning Target in Columbus, Ohio was the place to be. They had almost everything ROTS. I saw all 44 figures, including a red senate guard, a few AT-TE gunner and Clone Commanders (a 1st for me). This was also the first time I saw the new wave and they had both the light tan and the brown Wookiee Warriors, by far one of the best figs in the line. They also had 36 Target Clones, darn straight, 36. I got an extra one for trade. If anyone needs it drop me a line. I'm in search of a Lava Vader. They had all the vehicles, all the deluxe and a few of the 12" figs. The only thing I did not see was the Mustafar playset, they even had all 3 battle arena things. They are definitely getting ready for the big day. Good luck troops and United we find!

    Sandtrooper Jeff Reports:
"Just a quick note from the greater Seattle area: check your Targets for the exclusive Clone Trooper. If they don't have them on the pegs, type in the DCPI number (087-06-1489) on the price scanners to see if they have more in back. Such was the case at the Redmond Target, and I walked away with two of them and left ten on the pegs, straight from the case the associate pulled out. Do not ask the associates until you check the price scanner since they will just give you the standard if it's not out there' response."

    Sandtrooper DarthPharaoh Reports:
"Hi all, DarthPharaoh here. Finally saw the Mustafar playset at my local Wal-Mart and picked it up. Pretty cool. I`m also learning now that to get the newest and coolest figures all I have to do is... leave Atlanta. Or in this case have my wife do it. Yes, my wife, she who hates Star Wars toys (at least she enjoys the movies) actually picked me up #'s 42 and 43 from a Target store in Dadeland, FL. She finally put all that work travel to good use!! In other news is taking pre-orders now for all the June 1st stuff. I`m talking about the 500th Vader figure (which I ordered) and Evolution packs (I ordered the Clone to Sandtrooper pack naturally) and Jedi Vs. Sith and Republic Vs. Separatist packs. So if you wanna beat the scalpers to the punch get over to it. They also have some of the harder to find figures for sale at $4.99 including Polis Massan, Chopper Droid and Mas Amedda, so if you need them zip on in and save a buck!! Good luck, and as always death to all scalpers!!!"

Or warm yourself up with two different blankets and sleeping bags. Also available are beach towels. So choose your side and get in on a great sale. Just a side note...the blankets are a real steal at this price.”

While George has been gone for several years, Pat has been an ever-ominous presence here at Sandtroopers. Last year he decided to pursue a life-long dream and give his incredible gift a go full time. Our world famous Sith Lord hasn't put down a pen since. I'd like to thank the Hotinks crew for the incredible design we used for our T-Shirts, and especially the artist Steve Sanchez. With the obligation of doing many shows across the country and always working on something, Pat has been distanced further than ever before from Sandtroopers.

Instead of shelving it or thinking it was worth more than it really was, he opted to sell it to me. For three years I have worked my way up through the ranks, and have been the spark plug for much of the content of the site. Instead of suffering a fate that would benefit no one, we came to agreement and on April 21st 2005 I purchased ST outright from Lord Crypt. This will insure our survival through EIII and beyond, which is so uncertain to everyone. To help us serve you better one of our first tasks is to move this website to a new server, to accommodate the millions who are using the site better. Dustrho has been at work, and soon we will begin our migration. Please be patient with us during this time, it should be completely seamless, but you never know with infernal machines!

I'd like to thank the Site Founders for creating such a wonderful thing to help collectors achieve their collecting goals. I am forever in the debt of Emperor Crypt for giving me a chance and opportunity and for the last year to be in sole control of operations. I'd also like to thank the Troopers who have and will continue to make this community so special, while there are too many to list, you all know who you are. I also could not forget Generals Vaughn Whisker, and Jason D. Meyers for giving me a shot and taking a chance three years ago. You two saw that I could make a difference, and what I couldn't be taught in technical skills, I would make up for with effort and hustle. I'd also like to thank the Staff of the past who did their part in making ST grow, if not for you we wouldn't have what we have now.

Last and certainly not least I'd like to thank my command crew that is currently in place. If not for the team that is around me now I wouldn't have made the financial commitment of ownership. I have a number of projects I've dreamed of launching, and now anything is possible. I am very excited about what we will be doing in the future. I guarantee Sandblast to be one hell of a party this year Troops. We will redouble our efforts and do our best to make this website the most powerful in the galaxy!

If you'd like to bid farewell to Pat please reply to this thread.

    Sandtrooper Milwaukee Mike Reports:
“I want to send out a big thanks to Scalphunter1 (Ron) for hooking me up with a CIII Vader on a trade. This was my first trade with a fellow trooper and it went smoothly. What a great way for fellow collectors to help each other out. United we DO find!

    Sandtrooper Bobafred Reports:
Desert Warfare“Bobafred chiming in from So Cali. Revenge of the Sith one week away and all you Sandtroopers ready to call in for the day. In this final Episode we will see Clone troopers of color and rank, and troopers that will only break your bank. They will be highly trained killing machines, and kill on order. They will offer no immunity, but none can compare to our Sandtroopers community! Our Sandtroopers offer something a bit more special. I would like to give a big shout out to Sandtroopers UpUpDownDown (a.k.a. Allen) out of Southern Cali, in the LBC, and Super Troop Greg Kellner out of the Midwest in the big MO. I had the opportunity of getting to know them, and completing some real awesome trades with both of these Sandtroopers. I would like to shine the lime light on Jedi Mcor for trekking from NY to INDY, and braving the weather, the huge crowds, the 15-hour lines, and depleting his pocket books for a fellow trooper. Jedi Mcor did not hook me up with one, but two C3 Vaders at cost-plus shipping. This is one of the greatest gestures to offer a fellow trooper, and I now have the pleasure of returning the favor at San Diego Comic-con. Talking about the East Coast West Coast hook up. I have had the greatest time communicating back and fourth with Jedi Mcor, and knowing how hard he works on his hunts. I thought I would at least let him look one place for his blue saber Emperor variant which by now is practically hard to find! So Ricky if your reading this post then you know that I know that you know I got your Palpi! You know? Kidfisto in So Cali. Who are you? I know you know your stomping on my territory so make yourself known and drop me a jingle, and quit brushing my shoulders.”

“Hey Troops just another report from central Minnesota. It seems like the Target Clones are everywhere. Today two targets in St. Cloud had about twenty of these figures. The new deluxe figures and figures 41-44 were also just put on the shelves. I also saw quite a few AT-TE gunners today. Thanks again for the great site. Sincerely, Anthony.”

    Sandtrooper Jason Meyers Reports:
“Counting the Clock & Clocking the Count! Target in the Quarry Shopping Center in Hodgkins, IL (LaGrange) got the three Battle Arenas. The $19.99 price tag is justified by the sculpting and pack-ins on these sets. The Chancellor's Office with Sidious vs. Mace was the best of the three, but the sculpt on the Trade Federation Cruiser Dooku is one of the best of Christopher Lee to date. It also looks as though Anakin is about to clock the Count with a left hook. Wal-Mart in the same plaza had gotten figures 41-44 over the weekend but only No. 44 Destroyer Droid was remaining. The same Wal-Mart has almost exhausted its supply of basic figures, and a floor associate explained to me that the individual stores are no longer determining what should be ordered. On a side note, I moonlight managing a Burger King in Zion, Illinois on Friday nights and our store has gotten most of the Episode III promotional items over the past few days including the four different cups with game pieces and apple pies with Star Wars packaging. The toy promotion starts next week and if any Troop finds himself in need of any of the 30 toys or 5 chase toys, contact me and I will try to help. I also want to thank all of those who have kept our community in their thoughts since the tragic events here on Mother's Day. Hello to all the Troopers out there, and keep up the good fight Troops!”

We'd like to express our condolences to the familes of the victims. The community here is still in shock, my son Tyler attends Beulah Park School. I've lived in Zion my whole life and can't remember anything this horrible ever happening. Although we are very relieved this person is behind bars.

“Hi Troopers. I can't take credit for finding this one since I read about it on another website, but the Red Royal Guard has been in stock all afternoon on Toys 'R Us. I picked up two for myself. Sandtrooper Hothchad Reports: From Central Minnesota
“Went on a toy run today and hit some new scores today. Here is the rundown Wal-Mart: Went to 2 of them and nothing new to speak of. Target: Maple Grove found 5 Exclusive Clone Troopers still on the pegs and all 3 battle arenas, figures 35-40. Target in Rogers found battle arenas and figures 35-40. Target in Buffalo found 12 Exclusive Clone Troopers still on the pegs, wave 2 of deluxe figures and figures 35-40. Also found figures 41-44. A very good day for me. If any fellow troopers need an exclusive Trooper let me know I have an extra for trade or sell for cost and shipping, no need to make anything on them, the scalpers are doing enough already.”

    Sandtrooper Aantmantooine Reports:
“There is still hope for all out there to get some Target Clones! After selling out on Sunday, mine got another box in today and put 8 out on the shelf along with the 41-44 figs. If you've been following the heated thread over in the Forum, here's one for the books: The difference between Sandtroopers and the smelly gunk I dig out of my boot tread is that I picked up 1 for the collection, 1 to open, 1 to hopefully trade for POTC figures, leaving the remaining 5 so that others in the area would have the chance to get one if they were fortunate enough to come to Target today. Don't give up on your Targets yet; keep making the rounds and maybe you'll be fortunate enough that a Sandtrooper was there before you.”

S.C.A.L.P. Ranger“Hey Troops, I found the Darth Table today at Target in Burlington, NJ. This one seems to be a variation of a variation. His head is not real shinny or dull, it's a good mix and there is a lot more charred coloring that brings out the detail. They also had one Clone Commander. I left it because I only collect Vader.”

    Sandtrooper Jorge Perez Reports:
"Hello Troopers! Jorge Perez from the Boston area. It has been a long time! OK, got lucky, have found everything until #43, except AT-TE Gunner. Also, I have found the Target Clone Trooper at the Somerville Target, and have one for trade for the Lava Vader or CIII Vader. Also for trade is a Silver TRU Vader and a Wal-Mart Early Bird set I purchased online (will give receipt invoice) or for sale at cost. I prefer a direct trade with any Trooper in the Boston area, but others from other states are welcome to email me to work out a trade. Other figures I'm looking are the Star Tours red R2. Thanks for the wonderful site and MTFBWY!"

    Sandtrooper Anthony Grand Reports:
"I have been reading the site for a few weeks and I really enjoy it. I am from Minnesota, which has its ups and downs for star wars collecting. The downs are it often takes longer for the figures to get here. The ups are that when they do arrive there is usually abundance. I have seen a lot of figures #33-40 with the exception of only a few of figure #38. Also, I was lucky enough to get a couple extra Target exclusives. I am willing to trade. The one figure that I would really like to have is a Yoda Unleashed. I know that it is a long shot but if anyone has any extras I will pay as well. I also need some advice. I would like to get a hold of the Yoda mini bust, but I am not sure if I trust those eBayers so any direction from you Troopers would help. On a last note, my Target just had four Darth Taters today, so if anybody is interested I could try to pick them up. Thanks for the great site and have a good day."

Thanks for the report Anthony! It's great hearing all the wonderful feedback that we've been receiving this past week. That reassures us that we're all doing our jobs right around here. Hope you keep sending us your reports, and don't forget to check out our forums.

"Super sucky news! I just called the Target 800 number as well and the representative confirmed that the exclusive Clone Trooper is discontinued! However, he was willing to check several stores in my area to see if they had any in stock. For those around St. Louis, the rep told me Brentwood, St. Louis (I assume on Hampton), Kirkwood, and Fenton are all out. I didn't ask him to check any more (Chesterfield, St. Peters, etc). Best wishes to all those hunting, and thanks for the overwhelming response to our Lava Vader trade offer - we are anxiously awaiting our CIII Vader! BTW, off the record - I'm emailing from work - our contact address is I just can't stay off the Santrooper site!"

    Sandtroopette Donna SoCal Reports:
Sandtroopette Donna SoCal Reports"Hey Troops, Donna from So Cal reporting in. Went by three Targets on Sunday and no exclusive Clone Troopers to be found. Luckily, from a previous post here, I wrote down the DCPI# and asked an associate earlier last week and she got me one from the backroom. Target did, however, have the new deluxe figs (Vader w/table, etc) and starting to get quite a few of the #33-40 figs except for the AT-TE Gunner. I have not found anything past #40 here. The battle arena sets are showing up at Target, Walmart and TRU. The only other new items I saw at Wal-Mart were the car air freshners, cartoon-like pins, and keychains. K-mart has nothing new. At Kohls I was able to find the variant Anakin #2 with Dooku's lightsaber and the BARC Speeder with the extra bonus Wookie Warrior fig. Lastly, I wanted to shout THANKS to Trooper Parkay for helping me to complete my 40 figs and to Spice for saving me one of those awesome T-shirts since I did not make it to Celebration III. This site rules! Happy Hunting to all!"

    Sandtrooper San Francisco Tim Reports:
Sandtrooper San Francisco Tim Reports:"Hey Troopers! It was a little slow around the Bay Area with nothing new coming in. However, I took a business trip up to Sacramento and stopped into as many stores as possible. I managed to find all the latest deluxe figures and numbers #33-40. The Clone Commander and AT-TE Gunner were the most difficult to find. I went to my local Target only to discover that they did not have any troopers available, BUT they had stocked a few of #41-44. I missed #44 but was super lucky to get the others since there were other collectors milling about. I have since been back to the local Targets and have noticed they now have the price tags up for the Trooper on the pegs, so it looks like its just a matter of time. I did read earlier that someone was looking for a Polis Massan fig and was curious to know if he found one, if not there are plenty out here in CA and I can pick you up one."

"gonk24 here. I live in the Des Moines, IA, area where we have seven Target stores. I stopped into two today and found no exclusive Clones on the shelves. Upon punching in the DCPI #, I found that both stores still had them in the stockroom. I've already been able to get as many as I've wanted to keep and trade, so I didn't pursue the little dude at either place. Keep looking Troops, they are still out there. The key is to be persistent. If one person can't help you, find another. If all else fails pile drive the Target staff into the floor until someone gives. BTW, I do have two of these magnificent Clones available in the Trades section. Looking for a pristine condition Target exclusive Lava Vader or the Wal-Mart Early Bird Kit. Later Troops!"

"Target got a case of the Battle Arenas today. Only one that was left was Bodyguard vs Obi-Wan, which is different than the ones I saw at Walmart on Saturday (Sideous vs Mace and Dooku vs Anakin). Are they splitting these assortments between the two stores (i.e. quasi-exclusive)? Anyway, they take up way too much space for a guy who has bought 459 figures since 2000 (updated the collection spreadsheet over the weekend, and that includes multipacks)."

New Anakin Jedi Starfighter Found at TRU!
Anakin's StarfighterFellow staff member Boba Binks had this to report: "Hey troopers! Just wanted to let you know that the Toys 'R Us green Anakin Jedi Starfighter is now in stores. Today while on a errand I made a stop into Toys 'R Us and to my surprise sitting on the shelf was two of the exclusive green Anakin Jedi Starfighter. The shelf sticker showed $29.99 but it rang up for $24.99. This version of the Jedi Starfighter is the same mold as the previous Anakin and Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter just repainted green. Sandtrooper Big Mike Hodge Reports:
"Hey guys! Big Mike here in Cincy with a store report. Yesterday the Western Hills Target had no exclusive clones in stock, but that was expected as they had been going to the back and bringing them out for people when they asked. I was lucky last week and was able to pick up two. They did have the higher number figures like the Clone Trooper (#41) and the rest but no AT-TE Gunner. I went back today and a nice employee actually went to the back and brought me out two AT-TE Gunners. I used to really hate this store 'cause the employees were jerks, but the last three weeks this store has really come through. Toys 'R Us in Western Hills should be called we 'have' nothing and the Wal-Mart in Western Hills is a dump. Well, I will talk to everyone later."

    Sandtrooper Chad Ryan Reports:
"I took your advice and called the Target 800 number that was provided in an earlier news article. I gave the woman I spoke to the DCPI number and she told me the figure was discontinued. Luckily I have one but I was hoping to get one more. It looks like these guys are no more."

This is not good news, because there's a lot of people out there who have yet to find these in stores. If this is indeed the case, Hasbro is really going to be missing out on a huge money-maker. Whatever the case may be (if it's really discontinued or not), if there are any Troopers out there who haven't been lucky enough to find this visit to our Classifieds and Trades sections in the forums. There are quite a few Troopers who have these available for other Troopers. United We Find!

"Revenge of the Brick" Ready for Viewing
Darth VaderThe wait is now over! LEGO has finally released the five minute animated LEGO movie called "Revenge of the Brick." Parts of the movie include Yoda tearing about a bunch of Battle Droids on Kashyyyk, Obi-Wan Kenobi using parts from Droid Tri-Fighters to build his own starship (in space!), and what was best (to me at least) was the Turbo Tank eating up dirt as it came to a stop to deploy Clone Troopers and Jedi. You can view the 12mb video clip here.

    Sandtrooper Wampa1500 Reports:
"Whats up fellow troopers!! I'm new to the board but not new to collecting. I actually stopped collecting back in '01 but the new figures re-vitalized my passion for the hobby! I was lucky enough to find #41-44 in abundance today at two Targets. One was in the philly area. at the Target across from Oxford Valley Mall on Route 1. They had a ton of the new wave, I'd say about 12 of each figure. No exclusive clones but I didnt ask.

The next find was at Target in Marlton, NJ (on Route 73). They had the #41-44 wave and a bunch of #36-40 so they are out there, you just have to look. They also had two target clones but I left them. I actually have two extra to trade as I am in need of a large amount of SAGA and POTJ figures since I wasnt collecting when they were out.

Well I hope these reports help a few local collectors out. Thanks!"

UPDATE: The two Clone Troopers are now gone.

I used to collect figures until my sons were born, now I buy for them. I was lucky enough to get some new stuff at Wal-Mart this week, such as Clone Commander (#33), Clone Pilot (#34), Polis Massan (#39), AT-TE Tank Gunner (#38) and Vader's Medical Droid (#37). I asked the guy who worked there what he had, and he let me open ten cases and take my pick! My sons could not be happier. Also, red Royal Guards are all over the place. BTW, scalpers suck!"

Thanks for your first news submission, and I hope to see many more from you in the future! Congrats on the big score!

    Sandtroopers Tim & Amy Reports:
"Hi! We've been enjoying reading the news updates on your site for a few weeks now, but decided I might be able to contribute something now. A couple of things actually:

    1) A Target store in the St. Louis area was keeping the exclusive Clone Trooper figures behind the counter in electronics and was also limiting the piece to one per person. We had called ahead to see if they had any, but when we arrived we were pretty ticked to find the pegs empty. When we asked, the employee took us up to electronics, and they still had 8-10 figures behind the counter there. It might be worth trying if the pegs are empty.

    2) I sent an email to Target a couple of weeks ago regarding the abundance of the exclusive figure on eBay, and their response was to take the DPCI (it is 087-06-1489) to the customer service desk and request they search for it. If the store is out of stock, they suggested calling 800-440-0680 with the DPCI and requesting a search. They did confirm the release date was supposed to be May 8th, but really had no answer for why so many had leaked onto the market.

    3) We have an extra Target Lava Vader that we are looking to trade for a CIII Vader - anyone interested please send us an email.

That's all from St. Louis for now... Tim and Amy"

Thanks for the highly informative news submission, and I hope we receive many more reports like this one from you in the future. That's great information about the exlusive Target Clone Troopers, and I think that's the first time anyone suggested calling Target's 800 number for them to track these down. Most impressive!

    Sandtrooper James Ingram Reports:
"Hi Sandtroopers! I'm not a member but maybe you can help. I live in Port Huron, MI, and my son and I are huge Star Wars fans and collectors. Anyway, we have somebody worse than a scalper hitting all our stores, and this person or scum is buying all the hard to find figures like the AT-TE Gunner we found at our Wal-Mart today. These scalpers buy them and then return them but with old figures in the package, and in this case it was old Luke Skywalkers in Stormtrooper disguise. There were four of them, we were pretty upset, we got an employee who basically knew nothing about Star Wars, and we had to explain that it was stealing and they were wrong to put these figures back on the rack. Long story short we know what you're up to you scalpers! The store knows about this too and I hope like hell you get caught. People like you take the fun out of the hunt, and you're not even a fan just a greedy piece of garbage so my hope is people keep a eye out for you and you get busted. This is the best Star Wars site around so keep it up guys and thanks!"

Thanks for the great compliments about our site, and I hope you stop by our forums to share your knowledge of Star Wars and share your great story over there. It's wonderful to hear that you went to the manager at Wal-Mart to let them know what was going on with the figure switching. Speaking of figure switching, our very own staff member Julian (aka Desert Rat) did a great article last year called "Slices: An in Depth Look into Plastic Crime." Again, thanks for writing in to us, and I hope you become a member of our forums.

    Sandtrooper Jon Reports:
“Fellow troopers I need your help. I recently found out that I am being laid off and because of this I need to sell my Master Replicas lightsabers. These are Signature Series or Limited Edition-they are the full size version, not F/X. I have posted prices on the classified forums-if you buy more than 1 I will pay for your shipping. The Darth Maul battle damaged saber does still have the original packaging. These have been displayed in a smoke free, low light home-very mint pieces, and I hate to get rid of but my family needs the money. Any help is appreciated and if you have any questions please let me know. Also, I am open to offers so if you do not like the price please make me an offer. Thanks a lot troops, my family and I appreciate your help.”

    Sandtrooper Kidfisto Reports:
“Well, my Target exclusive Clone Trooper scout mission this am (5/8) failed here in the San Fernando Valley, CA. I was at a Target at 7:30am, about four more people showed up around 8am. The doors opened, and BAMB.... Nothing! The clerk in the toy dept said they didn't even have any. So, we all left. I went back to the same Target at 10am, just to see if maybe the clerk was wrong. Nothing again! So, off I went o to two more stores in the area, with no luck. One customer service person at one of the Targets said that they had the Clone Troopers for over two weeks, and had just one left this morning. I told him that the managers were not supposed to put them out until today. All he could say was sorry. So, I'm assuming the Targets in my area put them out early and people just gobbled them up. In my search I did find just one of each of the later figures #41-! 44. In a general update, in the seven stores I went to today (3 Target, 2 Wal-Mart, 2 Toys 'R Us stores) there are tons of #35 Palpatine Red Saber, no Blues, tons of #34 Clone Pilots, and many #40 Mas Amedda. The Mas Amedda was at Wal-Mart. If anyone has an extra Target Clone Trooper give me a shout. I have I Holo Yoda to trade, or a Red Royal Guard.”

    Sandtrooper Aantmantooine Reports:
“Scalpers alive and well in Christiansburg, VA : Went to Target right after opening this morning looking for the exclusive trooper and found nothing. I had to go to a picnic all day so I swung back by on my way home. What did I find, you ask? All 4 pegs that were marked for Lava Vader (i.e. where they would put the trooper if they had it), which previously held common figs, completely empty. So, I figured I missed out and was a bit bitter about it until some &$^%#$# came by saying "Oh darn, the rest are gone now." I asked him if he was talking about the trooper and he said, "Yeah, I picked up 4 earlier and when I went home and saw how much they were going for on ebay I came back." I'm just bitter in general. I don't know what is worse, the idiot or the store's policy on handling this exclusive that's likely not worth the inflated price. I guess I can only hope that there will be a steady shipment of these every week from this point and they stack up like the first waves of exclusive character cups and animated figures.”

    Sandtrooper Pat Reports:
I need the Troopers help! Of the 5 Targets in our area (a 50-mile span), not one store got any of the exclusive. According to a customer service agent, these stores never even received them. The nearest store that had any was in Chicago. I'm pretty sure that no scalpers got any because I checked the stores near me several times, and I never got one. Thus, I am in need of 2 of these exclusives, 1 for me, and 1 for my brother. I am willing to pay for these, or if anyone is looking for something in particular, let me know and perhaps if I have it I would trade for it. Thanks in advance.”

    Sandtrooper Hothchad Reports:
"HothChad from Central Minnesota. Went out this morning looking for the Target Clone Trooper and at the second one I found them. The first one did not have any out and the same with the second one. I asked if they had them and they did but they hadn't put them out yet. They should have them, but you might have to ask for them. The AT-TE Tank Gunner has finally shown up at the Targets. Haven't seen anything new at Wal-Mart except for 2 Battle Arenas. Figures #41-44 haven't been seen around here. If any Troopers need any of the Target Clone Troopers let me know and I'll see if I can pick you up one."

    Sandtrooper Ryan the Hutt Reports:
"Hey All, I went to four Targets this morning in Grand Rapids, MI. and I was told by all four of them that they never got the Exclusive Clone Trooper at all. I've been collecting long enough to smell something fishy going on here. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had an extra or two that they could spare. I don't have much to trade right now but I would certainly be willing to pay cash for it plus shipping costs of course. I would ideally like two. One to open and one to keep sealed. So basically one can be absolutely trashed but one I would like to be MOC. thanks in advance for your help guys!"

    Sandtrooper DarthPharaoh Reports:
"DarthPharaoh checking in from north of Atlanta, and to no surprise no Target clones to be found this morning. This was especially surprising for my Target right up the street since the toy manager told me last week they had them but weren`t selling them until today and when I showed up this morning a stocker told me they had sold them all about two weeks ago. Makes one wonder. At any rate, I have been able to pick up all four of the new deluxe figures. I also have an extra of each I`d be willing to trade for one of the Target troopers. If you have an extra let me know which of the new deluxe ones you`d like. I even have both color variants of the Vulture droid. In other areas, all of the #33-40 figures are findable here now. Even the AT-TE Gunner. I have extras of those now too. Still no sign of anymore 12" Grievous though, while the exploding Grievous #36 seems to be the only true pegwarmer of Wave 3. Haven`t seen any of #41-44 yet either, but we seem to have a 2-3 week delay in my neck of the woods so patience, patience, patience. Stay strong and good luck troopers. And as always, death to all scalpers!!"

    Sandtrooper Dennis Reports:
24/7 S.C.A.L.P. Trooper“Here's a store report on some newer figures showing up but in small numbers. Just a few but nice to see something slip through the cracks.

Target (Gurnee, IL) “had 2 Polis Massan & 2 Mas Amedda. There were no Super Articulated Clones, they sold them all a week or so ago according to a clerk. Hardly any of the stores in the area followed the procedure.

Wal-Mart:(Gurnee, IL) “had only 2 Exploding Grievous, 2 Clone pilot, 2 Polis Massan, & 2 Mas Amedda figures.

KB Toys:(Gurnee, IL) “had 2 Mas Ameddas & 2 Clone Pilots.

Kohls:(Gurnee, IL) “had 2 Clone Pilots, 2 Commanders, & 2 Exploding Grievous. They were on an end cap in the toys section not the Star Wars section. That's all for now. Later Troopers.”

    Sandtrooper Aantmanntooine Reports:
“Spacetaz (actually Southwest Virginia) : Target's been the place to get the new stuff (#41-44, minus the #41 if anyone else gets there first), but despite an extreme overstock of initial release, Wal-Mart has been bringing it strong with a consistent inflow of Clone Commanders, Pilots, moo-moo Grievous, and red saber Palpatine. I did see the new Battle Packs for the first time at Wal-Mart. They had Dooku vs. Anakin and Sidious vs. Mace (no Windu, just Mace; sort of like saying Tyson vs. Evander). No sign of Target Clone Trooper here yet, but the dude said they will likely get it during the "reset" they have planned for early this coming week. I've really struggled to find any of the repackaged POTC figures. If anyone can hook a brother up, please see my list under the Trades section of the forums. Toodles.”

    Sandtrooper Parkay Reports:
It's not buttah!“Hey Troops, I went out on a toy run in Columbia, SC in search of the Target Clone Trooper and Operating Table Vader. After 4 Wal-Mart, 3 Target, 1 Toys R Us and 1 Kohls store; I had no luck on either. But on the brighter side, I did score Figs #41-44 at Target and found 2 Anakin with Dooku saber. After checking out the date stamps on the Anakin, the Dooku saber is the newer version, and being that he's in a couple of case assortments with figs 33-36 and 41-44, this is where this one is most likely coming from. But even though he's still coming out in newer cases, he's only one per case in these assortments. Also saw the plenty of 12-inch Shaak Ti, Barriss and Grievious's out there. I'd like to try and find a trade for my second Anakin w/ Dooku saber; I'm still looking for my Operating Table Vader and Target Clone. I'd of course provide the cash difference to keeps things an equal cost trade. Also I'm trying to finish my set of ROTS movie cards. Please see my post in the forums under trading. I know someone there must have an incomplete set still with a large pile of duplicates also. Lets help each other out and complete our card sets.”

    Two New ROTS TV Spots!
GrievousThe Official Site released two new TV spots for Revenge of the Sith yesterday, and let me tell you how cool they look. The first one is "To Protect You" which was good to watch, but the second one "Seduction" was much better since we got a chance to see more action out of General Grievous. If you are trying to avoid spoilers than you probably shouldn't watch these. However, since these will be airing on TV you might as well see them anyway. Enjoy!

Force of the Bay: Back for the Attack
It has been a great post-CIII resting period, truly a wonderful time. After a much needed break it's time to get back to basic training around here and while I've had some time to enjoy the new items I've added to my own collection, it's time to go out looking for something new. While you may feel like you're still in pieces, I decided to go back to the old blue print to make you wonder what is authentic and what is not. It's a lot like "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?" the world may never know. You may not get the answer until the package arrives. The bay is just full of the greatest relics from the eighties. Perhaps too many rounds of that game led to the formation of Green peace! You don't have to throw yourself in front of any bulldozer to find the rarest in rare. No matter which figure in your sights, forget about how many were cranked out of the Kenner Factory, you will indeed find it. So grab yourself a chair and you may even find a great story to make your trip even more interesting. There are some really amazing listings; you could finish chapters of collecting with a touch of a button. Married men add in divorce fees to the Buy it Now and shipping. Remember neither endorses nor authenticates any of the items featured here. Good luck to you Troopers in your searches. Kick A$% and take Names!

    Sandtrooper Jedi Hawk Reports:
Texas S.C.A.L.P. Border Patrol“Well Troops it has been a long time since I reported in. So here goes. Things are going well here in the middle of TX. My only complaint is that there so much product available that my wallet is hurting. I have been fortunate enough to find all basic figures #1-40 with ease. Leaving many of the #33-40 on pegs around town. Even found the variations of Palatine (Blue Saber) and Anakin (Dooku saber). Also have been able to pick up all of the Deluxe variations and also Wave 2 of the Deluxe figures. I have been able to get all of the exclusives also. And this morning I actually picked up the new Target Clone. Man $13 for that guy is kind of steep, but nice to have found him. Really so far there has not been anything that was difficult to find. Not that everything is in abundance, but inventory has been kind. Only thing that have not popped up around here are the 12" Jedi gals. And the ROTS Gunship has not been around since 4-2.

Target - Best place to get later figs. Also Deluxe wave 2. Only place I have seen figs #33 and above. Inventory moves at a fairly steady rate. They did not really over do it on 4-2, so the stock is not completely stale. No large scale ships since 4-2. Some mid sized and small. No 12" left now. Best price on 12" Vader/Anakin.

Wal-Mart #1 & 2 - Both are overflowing with figs #1-#32. Have a broad selection of all products, but all are way overstocked. Hopefully it will clear soon once the movie opens. Did manage to see Deluxe wave 2 at one Wal-Mart. Some ARC-170 Fighters and lots of mid-sized and small vehicles. Still quite a few 12" figs.

TRU - Overloaded w/ basic figs #1-32. Have not seen much new stock here at all. Have tons (I means TONS) of ARC Fighters. Lots of Mid-sized and small vehicles. Selection is very redundant and product is not moving. Not sure what to expect from them. Seems like 4-2 was all they had. And even then they were not the best selection or price. They still have lots of everything and a broad selection of products.”

Sandtrooper Simdog Giving "Thanks" to Boba Binks
"Earlier this year, I contacted Binks and asked him if he would be able to get a C3 Vader for me. I had no way of making it to the Celebration and I truly wanted the figure. Sandtrooper Aantmann Reports:
"Southwest Virginia: We seem to be seeing the same trend as everyone else, lots of old stuff except a few fresh cases with #33-36. Our Target put out a fresh case today and what was left when I arrived was 4 Clone Troopers, 4 Clone Pilots, 2 Exploding Grievous, and 2 RED saber Palpatines. Haven't seen a blue one since the first week figs came out. They also had a slew of new deluxe wave, including Vulture Droid, Yoda on bug, and beef jerky Vader. Haven't seen the exclusive Clone Trooper yet, but I asked at the service desk (with DPCI) and they didn't have it in the system yet (i.e. not there or none left)."

Sandtrooper General Vaughn Reports: Fire Hotter than Jimi!
“Hey Troops, it's been a while. Just wanted to check in after being inspired by Darth Spice's fire at C3. I was proudly wearing my ST t-shirt at C3 on Thursday - saw lots of troops out there proudly sporting theirs too. I had a great time at the Con with the guys from the PA Star Wars Collectors Society. You may have seen our booth in the Fan Club area. Great to meet Spice and Jimsjedi while waiting in the line for the GG bust on Thursday.

I check the site from time to time and it's great to see so many old school Troopers posting - Britt, Brandon, Bill V., Dark Steve, etc. It's also great to see so many former Troopers joining the site as staff including Jimsjedi, Julian, and Starfox. I'm proud to see that the site is in such good and capable hands. Keep fighting the good fight! All the best, General Vaughn.”

    Sandtrooper ray2622 Reports:
"Hey Troops, just got back from Target and picked up the last two Clone Commanders and last Clone Pilot they had. So those of you who offered trades the only ones I'm still looking for are the AT-TE Guner and the Red Royal Guard. Overall my Target has been very good to me, so far I've bought two Target exclusive super-articulated Clone Troopers, two Clone Commanders, one Clone Pilot and one Blue Royal Guard. I do have a third Target Clone Trooper that I am saving for a trade, I am revising what I want in exhange due to me finding the Clone Commander and Pilot. I want either a Red Royal Guard or a AT-TE Gunner. This will satisfy what I want out of the collection until more figures come out."

    Sandtrooper Kevin Reports:
“No rebuild Vaders yet, or I missed them. However at the Wal-Mart in Marlton, Good ole South Jersey were Clone Commanders, pilots, and early bird kits a plenty. Also got my CIII Vader from SW shop. I have to say it is a nice set.”

    Sandtrooper Darth Nasty Reports:
“Does any Trooper out there have an extra Polis Massan? I work all night and then come before the stores open and no one in Northern CT has had one. Well I can't say that, I did see one at KB and when I went in another collector got it. I knew he was a collector when I met him at Target the Day the new figures came out. He told me he was also looking for that and the AT-TE gunner, Vader Droid and Mas Amedda. I found those three after he and I spoke. But I also needed them. He told me about Kohls and some of the local supermarkets that had figures. Just got the 4 new deluxe figures at Target, but there is nothing really new in any stores around here. So if anyone has an extra Polis Massan, I would trade or even pay for it. I have never had this much problem finding one figure to complete what is out now. So now I can't wait to see how hard it is going to be to get 41 and up. Plus I just started to write stuff on this great site and so many of you awesome Star Wars Collectors have help me with other stuff I have been looking for and just wanted to say thank you. Too many to list, but thanks again.”

    Sandtrooper UpUp DownDown Reports:
“I was one of the lucky few that managed to snag a couple of C III Vaders from At the same time I was unfortunate in picking up a Lava Vader, however, earlier today I met up with a local Sandtrooper and accomplish a trade. NO BS just straight up trade and creating a friendship. Big shout out goes to Boba Fred for the C III Vader - Lava Vader trade. He also gave me a heads up over the phone when he spotted some items at a nearby Kmart that was on my list. I just want to give hope to all Sandtroopers/SW Collectors out there. Although scalpers are having a field day with all the ROTS stuff and especially the exclusives, there is still a ray of light with all the shameful abuse that's happening on Ebay. Thumbs up to, its creator, and all its members. United We Find.”

"You know how they say exercise is its own reward? Well, I got a reward but not in the sense the philosophers were thinking. I decided today to take a 5 mile hike up to my Wal-Mart and boy was there a reward: All of the new ROTS Deluxe figures were there including the Clone Jet Jockeys, Yoda and his steed, the Droid Fighter and Rebuild Darth Vader. Well, needless to say I was doing some weightlifting on the walk back home."

"Hey Troops! Check out trade list in the forums. I have C3 Vaders & Target Clone Troopers, ROTS Clone Pilots, AT-TE Gunner, Clone Commanders (for trades only!), and much more. Lets help each other out. Down with all the eBay scalpers! I have not seen anything new here at Wal-Mart or K-Mart in Ashtabula, Ohio, since April 2nd. Last week I was on vacation, Bill V. & I Drove all over N.E.O. and PA. to find nothing new but Clones at Targets."

    Sandtrooper Patrick Reports:
“I Love this site! People after my own desires, trading for the love of collecting instead of money. I actually saw someone on Ebay selling regular admission tickets to see Episode III at Midnight near my house for $30, when it cost me $8.50. Anyway, I hope to be a regular here on Sandtroopers. I am looking for a couple of things. I am looking for a Blue Saber Palpatine #35, and an Episode I Queen Amidala with Ascension Gun. I know she's a rare one, but it is the only one I need to complete my Episode I collection. I have various POTF2, POTJ, and OTC for trade if necessary. If anyone has either of these items and are willing to trade or sell them, let me know what you may be looking for and I'll see what I have. Thanks ahead of time for your time!”

    Sandtrooper BobaFett277 Reports:
“What's up Troopers! I just wanted to tell everyone a cool little story about the Sandtrooper Bunker and Federation Toys. JediSpirit and myself were standing there buying the really cool Sandtrooper shirt and checking out all the figures and stuff, when I noticed a young boy about 10 or so checking out all the stuff and in particular a 12 inch figure of some kind and I hear the Federation Toys guy tell the kid, "Merry Christmas kid, take it, it's yours." I thought that was pretty cool, and I'm sure the kid thought it was even cooler. There were good times had by all who attended C3. Also, I am in need of the new Target exclusive Clone Trooper. If anyone can help me out, please let me know.”

“Hello fellow troopers, I'll make this simple I don't get on here and say much but I read the news everyday. I'm in need of just one CIII Vader I couldn't make to the celebration this year and the scalpers beat me to getting one from the star wars shop, just look at ebay for proof on that I would like to get one by buying one outright or trade for one but the only thing I have to trade is a Target exclusive Clone Trooper please help this fellow trooper out and I will be truly in your debt.”

    Sandtrooper Scalperhunter1 Reports:
"Greetings fellow Troopers, Scalperhunter1 here. Today marks one week post Celebration III. My psychiatrist refuses to prescribe the needed medication for my P.C.D.D. (post CIII depression disorder). This was my first Star Wars convention and definitely will not be my last. While standing in the year long waiting line for the CIII store I had the pleasure of meeting Darth Spice. We spent an hour or so discussing the various aspects of collecting and his website. I have now become a regular viewer. If you are in need of a CIII Vader I have one available to trade. I would like to trade for a Lava Vader, but I always keep my options open. Stay strong in the force."

Glad to hear that you've spoken with Darth Spice, and we're even happier that you stopped by to check us out. We hope you enjoy your stay here, and make sure you check out our forums for all the latest discussion regarding Star Wars.

“Hope all is well with you Troopers. Thank much for the totally cool Sandtroopers shirt. Perhaps the best value at Celebration III. It rocks! Just wanted to give ya a little heads up on what's out there in the NW Illinois burbs. I found the new deluxe figures at the Rosemont & Niles Target. Also, I was late to the party at the Niles TRU, they had the figures from # 33 to 40, by the time I got there all that was left was Vader's droid, Mas Amedda, and Polis Massan. Looks as if the "newer" stuff is finally breaking through. Take care man!”

    Sandtrooper SoCal Dom Reports:
One of SoCal's Finest!“Well, I must say that a lot of troopers have been helping me out lately. I would like to recognize fellow trooper BobaFred for an awesome hookup of some 33-40 figures including the blue saber Palpatine. Hope to see you at ComicCon! Also, Trooper Peter Nadel for the Pablo Jill find. I appreciate it. Lastly, trooper Steve Hart for the true altruistic gesture of a Celebration III Vader at cost. Your Holo Leia is waiting for you! These guys should be viewed as the epitome of what this site is all about. The few troopers that I am working with now, don't worry, you will get your props when we have finished our trades! Anyways, as a gesture, I wanted to let everyone know that I have 2 extra Exploding Grievous #36 and 2 extra Clone Pilots #34. I will sell them @ cost ($6.99 plus tax) and shipping for the first people who request it. Or, I would be willing to trade 2 of them for one of the new deluxe figures (I only need Yoda on the Can-cell or the flying clone) or any one-for-one of the newest 41 through whatever figures are out there past 44. Email me with your offers. Peace out!”
