 Troopers as you may know online there has been several reveals on what to expect at this years Star Wars Weekends but now there’s even more information on some merchandise that we will be able to get our hands on very soon. Star Wars Weekends will start from (May 18-June 10). We'll be able to purchase things like Disney exclusive open and limited-edition pins, boxed pin sets and a framed pin set, Darth Vader's chest t-shirt with detachable cape, 3 new figures: Donald Duck as Darth Maul as well as a few other cool items. This year's logo will be based on Donald as the menacing Sith Lord Darth Maul, created by Tyler Dumas and Casey Jones from Disney Design Group. This logo is made in celebration of Episode I in 3-D.  After an incredible three day weekend at C2E2, it took me a little longer than I would have liked to get my report completed. After dealing with a tiny bout of the dreaded "Con-flu", I have battled back to bring you the details of our weekend mission. We managed to spread our message, plant the seeds of future collectors, and help a little girl in need who greatly needs our help!  We have completed our mission at C2E2 this weekend and I'm pleased to report we've donated $1560 to the Baby Leah fund as a result of our efforts. I'd like to thank Brians Toys, Jett's Toy Hutt, Sideshow Collectibles, Gentle Giant, Dave Dorman, Hasbro, LEGO, Mimoco, and forum member James Stewart who donated the Matt Busch print to our raffle.  It was quite a long day for me as Droid Hunting always makes for a complete breakfast! After that it was back to the Battle Station for another day of outstanding ticket sales in our "Dewback Attack" charity raffle. Our new two day total is now $1151.00 and we still have another day to take a crack at adding to that tomorrow! I'd like to give big thanks and praise to Steve Szyndrowski & Ashley McClintok for their dedication to our mission this weekend, there's no doubt we could have achieved that number without their service!  We have returned from our first day of action at the third Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. C2E2 is growing by leaps and bounds every single year and I was amazed by the crowd lined up out the door at one o'clock this afternoon. We had an outstanding day of donations to our "Dewback Attack" raffle we're conducting to benefit Baby Leah. I am very pleased to report we raked in $400 and we still have two days left. Thanks again to our sponsors and affiliates for making the Battle Station happen, and bigger thanks to our friends of the Midwest Garrison for being such outstanding support this afternoon!  Say it isn't so Troopers but we've received some very good intel that Hasbro is doing the best it can to rectify their distribution issues. It would be a great thing to see cases of these hit in large numbers and we can only hope they've heard our plea simply to buy their products. We've assemebled a new photo gallery that you can use for your "hit list" that has several figures from waves 3, 4 and 5. The good news is the much delayed wave 4 is finally coming and we have a chance to get some of the harder figures from the past like Wedge Antilles, Gammorean Guard, Barriss Offee and ARC Trooper Commander (Fordo).  Our S.C.A.L.P. Intelligence Troopers have just passed along several images of the upcoming M.T.T. (Multi Troop Transport) that was unveiled at Toy Fair last February. We now have photos of the offical packaging but I must say I'm a little confused as to why Obi-Wan Kenobi is included with the vehicle?  The team at Gentle Giant has showered us with a ton of new products this month. The three new items are Star Wars new items that are Star Wars include the Battle Droid mini-bust, Death Trooper statue and the Red Snaggletooth 12-inch Kenner figure.  The tough economy has finally caused my local Kmart store in Zion, IL to close and I was truly saddened to see this happen. I've plucked countless figures out of this location as a small boy and even in the modern era of collecting. Needless to say I took advantage of the liquidating of everything in the store and found a way to keep a piece of Kmart in my Star Wars collection forever! For a mere $183 I ended my Star Wars hoarders impersonation and now have room to grow my collection further! It's safe to say it's now grown to collecting "rooms" to the dismay of Mrs. Spice.  For those of us who love the Sideshow Collectibles 1:1 line, they have announced the first in accessories and we can only hope this will lead to a 1:1 scale Jabba the Hutt someday! For now we're going to have to be content with Jabba's Hookah that will be going on sale next month on April 20th!
