Sandtrooper Sithryan Reports:
Sandtrooper Sithryan Reports:"Hey Troopers! I will trade you a Clone Commander AND a Red Royal Guard for a Target exclusive Clone Trooper. Mine are both C-9 or better. Is the Target Clone still available? Let me know, and let me know its condition. I will toss in a DVD of Clone Wars Season 3 also. I burned it from my TIVO straight to DVD, so it looks great. Let me know ASAP! Thanks!"

sithryan@msn.com

Ryan, the Target exclusive Clone Trooper is still available, but not all Targets have them out quite yet. Keep looking because they're bound to show up sometime for you. If you ask one of the store managers to look it up in their system for you, they might be able to hook you up. The DCPI# for the exclusive Clone Trooper is 087-06-1489. If they have them, not all store managers will put them out on the shelves since they're supposed to hold off until May 1st (tomorrow). Good luck with the hunt!

Sandtrooper Mike Reports:
“I have been looking to trade with someone who has an extra CIII Vader. Right now all I have is an extra Lava Vader to trade, but if there is something else you need I might be able to get it. I saw the CIII Vader going for some crazy prices too. I am also looking for Holographic Yoda. I have The Lava Vader and soon I may be able to get a extra Clone Trooper from Target if the Force is with me. So if you're searching for Lava Vader, maybe we can work something out.”

Desert Warfare“Bobafred chiming in from So Cal. Just wanted to give you troopers a super heads up on the Target 5 pack clamshells.... they don't fit! So don't waste the trip. I just don't get it? They had this problem with Lava Vader, rectified it with Articulated Clone, and now dropped the ball hard on this one. (Clearance here they come!) I was able to actually try one on in the store and wow...a major let down for your Bulls Eye. They will damage your card top in a heartbeat. On a brighter note Toys R us is putting out cases with the following figs 3 Clone Commanders, 2 Nemodian Warriors, 2 Wookiee Warriors, 2 Articulated clone trooper, 2 Battle Droids, oh and 1 Clone pilot if your still looking. Mustafar play set in Simi Valley Wal-Mart still no signs any were else! Bobafred On the Hunt signing out!”

ROTS Figs #41-#44 are out!
Hello fellow troopers. I just wanted to let you all know that this afternoon I picked up a few new ROTS action figures at Toys-R-Us of all places. I picked up two of #42 - Neimoidian Warrior, two of #43 - Wookiee Warrior, and one of #44 - Destroyer Droid. If I would of arrived to Toys-R-Us about ten minutes earlier I would of had a few of the #41 - Clone Trooper. There was a guy with a cart who had about ten or so of the Clone Troopers, ten or so of the Wookiee Warriors, two or three of the Destroyer Droid, and about seven of the Neimoidian Warrior. They are $5.99 each at my Toys-R-Us so better head out and stop in. Happy Hunting.

Sandtrooper ray2622 Reports:
"Hey troops, bought an extra Target Clone Trooper today to trade since a number of you have asked looking to trade it since I only want two and have three. If anyone is intrested e-mail me. I'm looking for a Lava Vader or the Clone Commander, red Royal Guard or Clone Pilot. Naturally I'm not asking for all of that, otherwise I'd be out of my mind but if anyone has extra let me know. Also I'm very new to this so let me know how trades work."

The best way to learn trades is to check out our Trades section in the forums to see how other Troopers are doing their trades, and also check out our Trading Rules. Any other questions let me know.

Sandtrooper Jedi Scholar Reports:
"I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who know if there is a collectors' club in Northwest Indiana? If not, I am hereby announcing th formation of one. I am tired of searching high and low in Lake and Porter counties searching for figures I never find. I have a hard time believing that these items simply never come to our "Region," and instead believe that the Scalper Menace lurks nearby. Anyone interested in beginning a club of our own here in NW INdiana, email me at jedischolar8@rebelscum.net. It's time we stood together here in The
Region and helped one another out. Hope to hear from all soon!"

Sandtrooper Timponobi Reports:
"Saw your Atlanta post regarding the Target Ex Clone trooper. This collector is incorrect. I landed two of these unique troopers at the NP Target in Alpharetta, GA this past Monday (4/25). I did relay this to my local collecting site, but found out later that all were gone. Scalper possibly? It is a great figure and very similar to the first ROTS trooper. However, you cannot change out the shoulder pad to an imperial insignia nor does it have an action feature when squeezing the legs. Thought your readers would like to know. Love the site!"

Sandtrooper DarthPharaoh Reports:
"DarthPharaoh reporting in from Atlanta (The Land that Star Wars forgot). Well, though I couldn't make it to CIII (same weekend as my Egyptology convention and being on a chapter board it had to take precedent) I did manage to get a talking Vader from StarWarsShop.com. Thank the Force I can have AOL on during my work hours. It came today and is as cool as advertised. On the collecting front I completed my #1-40 collection by finally getting an AT-TE Gunner. I found one at a Kohl`s in Clifton Park, NY of all places. Locally though I found the Operating Table Vader and Jetpack Clone at a Wal-Mart in Suwanee, Ga. Was actually getting other stuff and spotted them on the pegs as I walked by the Star Wars aisle so I grabbed em. As for the Target Clone Trooper, I've called all seven Targets between my work and home and none have received it yet and one toy manager didn't even know what it was. Typical for this area. Guess I'm waiting til the 8th. Hope everyone can be as patient as I have and not have to go the scalper route to get what they want. I could use one more Gunner though. If anyone has one to trade I have anything you might need in return of #1-40 except for Palpatine #35. Happy hunting and death to all scalpers!!!"

What's in Store for Hyperspace Members?
HyperspaceWe all know that Revenge of the Sith will be the last Star Wars movie to ever come out, but that doesn't mean Star Wars will be ending anytime soon. Lucasfilm will be busy working on two TV series (one animated and the other will be live-action), so there will be lots to look forward to in the next several years. There's also a slight chance for a Celebration IV convention in 2007 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. Hyperspace has been providing its members all sorts of exclusive content for ROTS and Celebration III, and the "exclusive content" will continue on. So what exactly is in store for Hyperspace members? You can check out all the details about Hyperspace membership here.

Sandtrooper ray2622 Reports:
"Hey Troops, many of you have e-mailed me regarding the numbers on the Target super-articulated Clone Trooper. The SKU number is 087061489, and I'm happy to help you with it. The only thing that continually saddens me are the scalpers, just out of curiosity I went to eBay and checked in on how much they were going for. Some of these people had cases of them and selling each figure for $89.99. It's sad and unfortunate for our hobby to be ruined by these people, because it really does take some of the fun out. The Celebration III Darth Vader is a good example of this. Scalpers bought cases when they went on sale at StarWarsShop.com and people like me who have lives couldn't have the oppurtunity to purchase such a great item. Also, does anyone know if Target will ever get the Lava Vader in or are they completely sold out? And before I forget I bought my Target Clone Troopers at the Prince Georges Target in West Hyattsville, Maryland. For those of you who wanted to know, they are apparently one of the few Targets that still have plenty."

“Hothchad checking in from Minnesota. Hit a number of Target, Wal-Mart, and Toys-R-Us stores today. Here is what I found: Target: found some figures 32-40 minus #38, seen Palpatine with the red saber. Have not seen any of the exclusive Target Clone Troopers yet. Wal-Mart: found the same stuff as Target. Toys-R-Us: found nothing new at the store I went to. I'm still in need of a CIII Vader and have a Lava Vader to trade, if any fellow Troopers can help me out let me know. Until next time.”

George Lucas Unmasked!
George Lucas Unmasked! The online version of Wired Magazine has written up an article about the true master of the Force... George Lucas. In the article they go into the mind of Lucas, where Lucas actually admits that even he's a fan of Star Wars. He was quoted at saying, "I like Star Wars, but I certainly never expected it would take over my life." Read the full story here.

Major CIII Update: Take no Prisoners!
Sandtrooper Dennis seeks out George LucasWe are continuing to add to our Celebration III section. Today we feature a report from the George Lucas appearance on Saturday from Sandtrooper Dennis. Short but sweet, he was one of the millions that made sure they got to the first appearance of George since 1998! We also have added my journal and a few photos from Sunday as well. It was quite an event and we have received a large amount of positive feedback on the Sandtrooper T-shirt. I'd like to personally thank Steve Sanchez of Hotinks.com for the design, truly an amazing talent along with our own Emperor Crypt who has taken the last year off to dedicate himself full time there. I was able to distribute them all over Celebration to fans across the world. Speaking of which, make sure to check out the coverage at SWNZ from our S.C.A.L.P. Foreign Legion member Matt Glascow. You thought it was rough making this thing, try attending CIII from outside the U.S.! Stay tuned to Sandtroopers.com as we continue to update our Celebration III section. United We Find.

Desert Warfare“Bobafred Chiming in from So Cal. Just wanted to let you troops know that the Target super articulated Clone Trooper has been shooting out the door (or back doors) at a majority of the Targets in the S.F.V. I had a very helpful guest service rep pull inventory at all the stores that carries them, and it looks like 36 pieces per store is there allotment for those who have not broke the on shelf street date of May 8th. The most interesting thing is that other stores only had 2, 7, 8, 13, etc. foul play? Or supplemental income? So stay on it Troops! I have an extra Target exclusive articulated Clone, or Lava Vader, Unleashed Vader, Cantina scenes 1 or 2, for a still in need of CIII Vader. Give me a holler so we can work it out.”

Sandtrooper Mike Reports:
“I went to my local Target and found #35 Palpatine with red saber. There was two and I have read that people where looking for this one with the red saber. I bought both red saber ones, one to trade for either a blue saber Palpatine with blue saber or Polis Massan. I cannot find a Polis anywhere around here it is like it goes on the shelve and sells out right away. But I would rather have a Blue saber Palpatine. I will trade for either one, but prefer the other Palpatine. Also have a lot of clone commanders and clone pilots if anyone is looking for them I pick them up for trade.”

Two TV Shows Coming Soon
George LucasWell, I think just about everyone here knows that there will be two TV shows coming out in a year or so, one being the animated Clone Wars micro-series (to be 30 minutes in length) and a live-action TV series. What some Troopers might not know is that the live-action TV series will take place between Episodes III and IV. Lucas said, "We're probably not going to start that for about a year. Like on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, we want to write all the stories for the entire first season all at once. I'm going to get it started and hire the showrunners and all of that, then I'll probably step away." Just the thought of Lucas continuing the Star Wars saga is so incredibly exciting to all Star Wars fans, but I hope it's as good as all the films have been. Read more about this here.

Episode III TV Guides Available Tomorrow!
Episode III Tv GuideAvailable in most stores tomorrow (4/28) will be five different TV Guides to commemorate the upcoming movie, Revenge of the Sith. What's cool about these are that they're animated, meaning the image on the covers change when you look at them from different angles. The five that are coming out include the following: Anakin Skywalker (holding his lightsaber changes to the hooded Anakin then to Darth Vader), Padme Amidala (changes to her daughter Princess Leia), Animated Wookiee Battle (on their home planet of Kashyyyk), Chancellor Palpatine (transforming into to the shrouded Emperor) and the epic duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin on Mustafar. "Hello Troops! Been a while since I wrote in. I have not done much in the way of collecting in the last two years. With the forth coming of Episode III I am getting excited. I have decided to go after a few of the figures. I did find an extra Clone Commander today, and I would like to make a trade with a fellow trooper. What I am looking for is a AT-TE driver. What I have to offer is the following (I will trade one for one): Clone Pilot (#34), Clone Commander (#33), Clone Trooper (#6), and the cloaked version General Grevious (#36). So if you want to trade, let me know which figure you would like to have and send me an email. MTFBWY!"

Sandtrooper Bobafett 277 Reports:
“Word up Troopers! BobaFett277 here coming down from an all weekend super buzz of Star Wars at CIII with JediSpirit, and wow was it crazy! We were actually turned away Saturday because we didn't know if we were going for sure until after it was to late to preorder, so Saturday morning we show up and are told we cant get badges to get in because the damn fire Marshall wont let anymore people in because the building is at its 90,000 maximum capacity! This was first thing in the morning and we are told to come back later and try in the afternoon, which we did and once again were turned away. (Not even Jedi mind tricks worked) So, after a 4 hour drive from St. Louis, a hotel room, 2 trips to the convention center from the hotel which costs 10 bucks each time for parking, not to mention a very long walk in quite cold weather and a very, very long wait, there we stood outside the convention center. DENIED. The Dark Side was strong, and we were two very unhappy troopers. We did manage to make the most of it and instead spent our Saturday night in an adult establishment with some very "friendly" local Hoosier girls. Sunday the Dark Side had been lifted and we actually got in and scored the C3 Vader, but a lot of other items were sold out. We did score the popular Sandtroopers.com shirt and met Darth Spice, which was cool. The exhibition hall was the only thing we got to really check out because the lines were beyond comprehension. A person could actually lose his mind waiting in some of these lines. There was a sign at one point to get into the store that said 7-hour wait from here. Wow. Overall, it was cool and I'm glad I was there. I did manage to score an extra CIII Vader that I would like to trade for a Lava Vader. Drop me a line if interested. I saw a recent post by my old buddy Britt and wanted to give him a shout out! A great trooper and cool dude. Also a shout out for Vaughn. He's an old school trooper that I wish I could've met at CIII.”

“This is for all troopers looking for the new Target exclusive Clone Trooper! All Targets have them and most of them ARE waiting till May 8th to put them out. So do what I did and ask them to go in the back and pull them out for you they will do this. The employee brought me out 2 of them today (even though I only asked for one but what the heck I bought them both anyway). This way when they officially come out you wont have to wait and either deal with the crowds or the fact that their sold out. It worked for me, maybe it will work for you too.”

Sandtrooper Jedi Dom Reports:
Sandtrooper Jedi Dom Reports:"Just had to put in my two cents about CIII. It was awesome! Met a lot of cool people and acquired a toy or two (or more). One of the best parts was meeting folks from Sandtroopers.com. Spice, you have a terrific family! Now, how can we get your wife to explain this insane hobby to my wife. Anyway, as the memory of the lines fades, the joy of being at the all-time greatest Star Wars gathering ever grows. If you couldn't make it, enjoy the pics that have been posted. Toy news: found the exclusive KB 14" Chewie at Gurnee Mills on the way home. That's all."

Day 4: Turn out the Lights, the Party's Over!
If I may be so bold as to borrow a quote from the great Reverend Slick. Hey Troopers I have a very small amount of Sandtrooper T-Shirts that were set aside for particular Troopers who didn't make it to CIII. If anyone is interested please drop me a line. They were a smash hit at CIII and my only regret is funds were not there to make thousands more. Gerald Home, Zack and Jesse Jensen and many more actually requested them to my disbelief. I guess a highlight was running into Steve Sansweet and him accepting my gift, truly memorable and good times. Drop me an email if you feel you are a hardcore S.C.A.L.P. who will not be left behind. I'd post Sundays events but stay tuned to tomorrow. I need some reality and a little non Star Wars time. Until tomorrow, same Trooper time, same Trooper channel. Update: The shirts are as of now gone, we are in discussion to produce another run to make sure we leave no Troop behind.

Sandtrooper Darkjedi29 Reports:
"Hey troopers! Just got back from C3 with all kinds of signed figures, let me tell you, Temura Morrison is the greatest celebrity of them all! He was so friendly and outgoing, not what I expected, all the female Jedi were HOT (Shaak Ti, Barris, Luminara, and Mara Jade were looking so good)! Anyway, I need help! Where can I get star cases for the ROTS figures? Normal cases don't seem to fit, any help is appreciated! I got my C3 Vader figure but I didn't have to wait in line for it, one of the smaller vendors had one for 25.00 so I snagged it! I didn't think others were allowed to sell it but I wasn't waiting. Also got some FX sabers, ordered my Vader supreme costume (which looked awesome!!!). Anyway, for those of you who couldn't make it, you missed a great convention, it was worth the wait! Any help on the star cases is appreciated. Thanks!"

Sandtroopette Donna Reports:
Sandtrooper Donna SoCal Reports:"Hey Troops, Donna from So Cal here. Spent a couple of days in Vegas while all you lucky troopers are in Indy for C3. Did some hunting but came up empty in finding that elusive AT-TE Gunner for me to complete the first 40 figs. I did, however, find the new Mustafar Playset at Wal-mart and the newest wave of Galactic Heros (Kit Fisto, Mace, etc) at Target. I also stopped by the M&M store on the strip, to see if they had any Mpire items for sale. They had only one T-shirt (Dare to go to the Dark Side) but I also found a Revenge of the Sith Stock Car by Action. Back in So Cal, I found the new 5-pack Star Cases and the second wave of Micro Sets (AT-AT & Snowspeeder, X-wing & Vader's Tie, Shuttle & Slave I) at Target. The Micro Sets wouldn't ring up at the register but the associate manually entered them in. If you are still looking for the Ho! lo Yoda, try looking on the pegs at TRU. I found a whole case hanging on the pegs. Lastly, Kohls has lowered their prices on figs to $5.99. I purchased a couple of figs there last week for $6.99 but was able to get a price adjustment refund. Happy Hunting to all!"

Sandtrooper Jeffred5 Reports:
"Hey Troopers! I just got back from CIII and wanted to check in a little. I'm sorry to say I spent Thursday in line from 9:30am until 7:30pm in line for my CIII Vader. It's a great figure but I'm being checked for mental problems for waiting in line ten hours for two SW action figures. Day 2 was a lot better for me. One thing I saw at Hasbro was the Target exclusive Clone Trooper (which I hadn't heard of before). If you don't find one just yet don't worry, the official word from Hasbro is that it won't be out until May 5th, with the new game and the soundtrack and other stuff. I also did well on the way home to Detroit. I stopped at every Wal-Mart and Target I saw along I-69 and got an AT-RT (Target $19.95) a bit expensive for a small toy, but pretty cool. I also found the exploding General Grievous and #35 Palpatine (Blue Saber). Does anyone know yet if the red or the blue #35 Palpatine is more rare? I thought the blue was a mistake and therefore rare, but Hasbro does show it in their display at CIII so it's no mistake. MTFBWY!"

jlj1971@sbcglobal.net

Jeff, the red saber Palpatine (#35) does seem to be the more rare of the two versions. I have yet to see this figure in any store in the Chicagoland area, but then again I'm going up against an army of Star Wars collectors by me. If you're in need of the red saber variation, you might want to post that and your other wants in our Classifieds or Trades section of the forums.

Sandtrooper Hothchad Reports:
"Hothchad from Minnesota. Went out today looking for anything new and found some new deluxe figures at Wal-Mart. I found Yoda on Can-Cell, Clone Trooper with jetpack, Darth Vader with operating table, and also the Vulture Droid. I passed on the Vulture Droid. Other than that nothing new at the Targets and Wal-Marts I stopped at, but I'm not complaining on what I did find. Until next time."

chadbarb@sherbtel.net

Chad, what color were the Vulture Droids at your Wal-Mart? Were they blue or brown? I only ask because at Celebration III they were brown, but Hasbro had them colored blue on their website. Only wondering if we're dealing with a variation to that deluxe set. Thanks!

Sandtrooper Britt Reports:
"Old school in the house! I've been away for awhile again with back problems, but the new toys and movie have got me stoked. Nice to see a picture of old Vaughn from the photos from CIII. Anyway, glad to post again. Just got back from NYC and the TRU there was so killer. They had a full size LEGO Darth Vader and Chewie. I picked up the last wave there also. I was very upset at the amount of figures just thrown into bins there. They were all ruined and some nice figs were in there. Picked up my holo Yoda after getting #33-#40. They had tons of everything, but searching through five bins of figs got real old. Had a few red saber Palpatine and just a few of the last wave, but everything else was loaded... all ships, Force Battlers, 12" figures, etc. Alright folks, I'm trying to compile a list of my older stuff amn I'm planning on getting rid of a lot due to space and paying for my reakin' back. When it's done I'll post it here first. I'll give all a chance before the evil ebay has to be used. MTFBWY!"

Celebration III, Day 3: Pictures from Darth Spice
Sandtroopers showing off their new threads.Day 3 is now over, meaning there's only one more day to Celebration III. Darth Spice has transmitted to me several new digital photos and a great report, and in the report he mentions that he met up with many loyal Sandtroopers. I really wish I could have been there to meet everyone in person, but it will have to happen at another time. I still can't get over how sweet those T-shirts look on you guys! Impressive... MOST impressive! Check out all the photos and read Darth Spice's report here.

"I just wanted to say thaks for all the great phots from C3. I wish I could have attended the Celebration, but due to work schedules and other things I could not. The pictures of the fans in costumes are awesome and the pictures of the new items coming out out awesome. The only bright side is that one of my internet friends is attending and I will receive a C3 Vader, but keep up the good work and thanks again."

"Greetings troops! I found LOTS of toys last night late at Wal-Mart but due to a paycheck fiasco with my employer, didn't have the cash for them. It seems that Wal-Mart is the place to hit, as they had new figures at three local Wal-Marts yesterday in Idaho, as well as other parts of the country. I DO have an extra Red Royal Guard I'd like to trade for an AT-TE Driver with removable helmet. My Red guard is C-9 or better. Any takers??? Let me know! I will include a bonus dvd with the trade. Email me with any questions."

Celebration III, Day 2: Jimsjedi Has Exciting News!
The Official LetterFrom Jimsjedi: "Today I was sitting in for none other than Christine Hewett (Cantina Tonnika Twin Sister). Last summer Spice met up with her and had a great interview and once I introduced myself from the site, she lit up, and said how much she really liked Spice and the rest of the site. 10 minutes into my shift she was pulled away for 20 minutes. The following is a Sandtroopers.Com Exclusive Announcement direct from Christine herself. When she came back she was very happy, she told me that she had just met up with the Hasbro reps to finally talk about releasing her character as a figure."

Sandtrooper Avenging Knight Reports:
"After the end of a near fruitless toy run this morning, after only having found a red saber Palpatine at Wal-Mart, I was checking the last of my three local Targets when low and behold I found the exclusive Target Clone Trooper. It is a super articulated figure, however it rings up at a somewhat high price of $12.99. I guess that's the going rate for a Target figure in it's own clamshell case. The packaging has nothing on it to indicate whether it is limited in production or not. Happy hunting everybody."

Two Different Colored Vulture Droids?
Brown Vulture DroidAfter creating that second photo gallery for Darth Spice, I noticed something about one of the Hasbro toys in his photos. If you look closely at the Vulture Droid that should be out in stores now, you'll notice in this photo that the color of it is the typical brown/bronze color from previous Star Wars movies. However, in the pictures that have been presented to us by Hasbro, you'll notice the color of these are the new light/dark blue that represents the Separatist Army. Are there going to be two different colored versions of these? Which one is going to be the variation here? Just thought I would share thought with all of our loyal Troopers.

Day 1 Complete: Can I play with Madness?
Hey Troops, it's been complete and total line. Jimsjedi summed things up pretty good, it's like Great America with no 2 minute thrill in three hours, only another line. The greatest thing has been the fans. The costumes have been incredible and everyone seems to be very courteous and understanding of the situation. It is sad because people who paid for admission and had badges mailed to them could have possibly been in line at 3:30 p.m. when the show opened at 1 o'clock p.m.! I started the day by trying to nail down the Gentle Giant Sandtrooper bust. With that accomplished I took disregard for the Vader and pursued photo opportunities to help bring some of the action for those of you who could not attend for whatever reason. I spend the afternoon with my padawans and toured the various exhibit halls. Some great notes from the previous photos were the Lucasfilm prop room, completely breath taking to be so close to something we all love so much. It has been nice to spend time and meet so many of the Troopers. Meeting former General Vaughn Whisker, Trooper Bill Varner, Trooper Ray Candelaria and so many others, truly amazing and special. Makes you remember the guys who used to make this place so special. I look forward to finding the legions of legacy Troopers who are still walking around, or in the line I'm not! It was nice to see many of the friendly faces in the autograph room. Gerald Home, Christine Hewitt, Sean Crawford and so many others, so very kind and happy to pose for photos for all of you. I will do some more work in there tomorrow, but Indy is running short on air it's so crowded down here. I apologize for not reporting much sooner, madness it is Troopers, like none I've ever seen. I will try to check back in tomorrow and after I return I will continue to update our CIII section. Its one hell of a party, but for those of you at home who are thinking you are missing something, you are. There is also much more aggravation you'd be glad you are not seeing. I will forward dustrho a few images I snapped after the first 100 but look for more shots, Snipe and Boussh will be reporting on opening ceremonies and much, much more!

Sandtrooper Moxy Reports:
Have just returned to the UK from New York. TRU in Times Square had loads of the 12" Emperor and Clone Trooper, however only got General Grievous at the third attempt, and then they only had three, so I felt very lucky. Is Target the only store doing 12" Shaak Ti and Barriss Offee? I tried the Manhatten Mall but no joy. Was really after these two, as they look superb, however I will be returning next month so any information is much appreciated. The UK selection is dire, no 12" ones yet and very pricey for the smaller ones."

Sandtrooper The Devils Ewok Reports:
The Devils Ewok"Well fellow Troopers, here in Minnesota it's hit and miss, I hit scalpers with my car, and no one misses them. Ok, enough about my other hobby, on to the stores:

Toys 'R Us: Did anyone not go to Midnight Madness? If you didn't hit TRU, because everything that was left over from Midnight Madness is still there (not counting Holo Yoda).

Target: Was actually suprised to see a TON of Aayla's, Luminara's and Ki-Adi's there, otherwise nothing new.

Wal-Mart: The store most love to hate treated me right the other night around midnight. An AT-TE Gunner, Polis Massian and Vader's Medical Droid sat on the shelf. Off to the side? Pallets, now usually I open cases myself, but there was actually an employee working the section that night (gasp!). I asked and he opened a case. BINGO! Clone Commanders, Clone Pilot, Red Saber Palpatine, Grievous #3 etc. I grabbed two Clone Commanders (one for me and one for a friend), the AT-TE Gunner and Red Sabe Plapatine. I left the rest (including the extremly dissapointing Clone Pilot, ugh, what an ugly figure).

Hit your Wal-Marts late Troopers, and hit your scalpers often, hard and repeatedly!"

"Just a heads up to anyone in SE Massachusetts that, like me, missed out on the Toys 'R Us Yoda. I randomly stoped by the TRU in Swansea to see if they any figs I needed... none. But to my surprise had five of those little guys hang'n around the store. There of course is still the "pre-deal" price of $9.99, but if ya missed him like I did, just pop by and go to the regular figure section because I put the rest since I had zero cash on me in the middle of the figure bin. Gotta hold'em out from the scalpers! Also, anyone know whats the deal with the Wal-Mart at Swansea Mall? I mean it's the only place I've been to that doesn't have a Star Wars section. Just the old peg setting with three figs hang'n. It's been like this for a long while now, at this point its kinda freaking me out. Keep scout'n Troops!"

Thanks for helping the fight against scalpers! It's great that you placed those extra Holographic Yodas away like that, so other true Star Wars collectors can have the chance at acquiring them, instead of seeing those go up on eBay. United We Find!

Sandtrooper dustrho Reporting In:
Well, it was the first time since April 2nd that I was able to do a toy run, since my wife and I gave birth to our new son, Lucas. Thankfully it was a fairly successful mission for me. I first stopped at Toys 'R Us by the Fox Valley Mall, and they only had figures #1-32, so there wasn't anything out of those that I was in need of. However, I did find a single 12" General Grievous that I quickly snatched up before anyone else could steal it away from me. That made me a happy camper. There wasn't anything else there that was new, but they did have SEVERAL of the ARC-170 Starfighters, which surprised me since I didn't see a single one of them when I was there for Midnight Madness. And just before I left the store I walked over toward the little kids area to see if I could find myself a Darth Tater figure, since I hadn't seen these in any store in my area. Must have been my lucky day, because there were about ten of these bad boys sitting on the shelves. I picked up two of them, one for me and one for my son.

I then tried Kohl's by Fox Valley Mall, and they didn't have diddly squat of Star Wars stuff there. What a wasted trip that was, but luckily it was in the immediate area so at least I didn't go completely out of my way.

I also stopped at Best Buy to check out the exclusive Darth Sidious lightsaber from Master Replicas, and they had about seven of them in stock. One of them had the shrink wrap off, so I was able to see it up close and I wasn't all that impressed with it. It was one of the gold ones and boy are these things small (obviously I don't collect these, well at least not yet anyway). I decided to pass on this, because I didn't want to end up with the gold one.

I then stopped at Target there and they had the usual figures #1-32, but nothing from #33-40. They had all the Target exclusive figure/cup sets there, and I was pretty impressed with the look of that General Grievous figure... not bad at all. They had lots of the General Grievous guards, but nothing in the area of army-building (which is something I focus most of my attention toward).

Lastly I stopped at Meijers across the street, and they didn't have much of anything there. They had a few deluxe figures and a handful of basic figures, but that was about it.

It actually felt pretty good going out on a toy hunt, something I really haven't done in quite some time. Luckily I came home with my 12" General Grievous and a couple Darth Taters.

Good luck everyone and United We Find!

Sandtrooper Starfox Reports:
Starfox Has All the Luck!"Hello from Central Texas! Things have been kinda slow since 4/2 when the first 32 figures hit and pieces of others have shown up now and then. Today at our brand new Super Wal-Mart in Harker Heights, I saw my first #40 + figures and I almost overlooked them. I picked up the #41 SA Clone Trooper, at first glance, I thought he was #6, they look very similar in the packaging. Also there was the Neimodian Warrior, Destroyer Droid and a red sabered Palpy figure... only one of each, someone must have beat me to the others! They also have tons of Deluxe figures, Beast figures and ARC-170... you name it they pretty much have it.

At Target, I saw the 12" PEZ dispensers, they are BIG, but my wife told me NO! So I left them there for the younger generation. Odd though, the candy itself looked normal size, I wonder if if shoots out a whole pack ata time or one peice??? Target also had the MicroMachine type packs as well as the first 32 figures all marked now at $5.24 to compete with Wal-Mart.

K-Mart has the Palm Talkers still and a few of the first 32 figures and the new AskMe/Story Telling Yoda... but all priced too high there. I skipped KB, nothing new really that no one else has, but more expensive... no wonder they keep closing stores!

SunCoast in the Mall has a few items, GG mini-busts and the ROTS Republic Gunship (only place I've seen theis bad boy)!

UPDATED: Supplemental report coming in from starfox in Killeen, TX. Big news, I have not seen this posted anywhere yet, but my local Wal-Mart put out today some of the newer deluxe figures for $9.96 each, to include: Darth Vader: Operating Table (sweet!), Yoda on Bug, Clone Trooper w/flying jetpack & Vulture droids! The down side, all the bubbles were partially crushed, so I left them all there! That's all... stay tuned for news from the gang at C3... starfox signing off...

Happy Trails: Operation Sandstorm Phase I
With mere hours until opening ceremonies for the greatest celebration in the history of Star Wars many of us are making last minute double checks over our Dewbacks and making sure our backpacks are loaded for the long trip. I'm not your normal Commander, I don't wait for the ground forces to arrive, I go in first with the rest of the commando team. It will be with great pleasure to meet up with some fellow staff members as well as the Troops, whether it is a seasoned veteran or a new recruit. At Celebration II I had only began my tour of duty with Sandtroopers.com. Much has changed since then and over the years weve covered some ground but nothing as quite as big as this. Hopefully everyone will have patience with one another and realize its one big line. Enjoy yourself and extend your hand to your collecting brother. Our S.C.A.L.P. Weapons Supplier will remain behind and help bring the show to those of you who cant make the event. Once again hope to meet the thousands of you who make this place so special year round. Stay tuned to our Celebration III Section from Wednesday until Sunday; well be on patrol for the entire event. If you are looking for us we should be around the Federation Toys Booth #132. If not someone there should know how to contact one of us. United We Find Troops!

Sandtrooper Dom Reports:
Anyone have a 12-inch Plo Koon?“Hey Troops, I'm all geared up for Thursday. Just wanted to drop a note before I saddle up the old dewback and head south to Indy. On the recent tips about the 12-inch Shaak-Tis and Offees appearing at Targets, I decided to try the Oshkosh Target in East Central Wisconsin. None were there, but I did find the three ROTS figs with glasses. I picked up the Gen. Grievous with glass. And here's the big news: they had all four giant Pez dispensers. These things are a lot cooler than I had thought. They stand at tall at 12 inches and at $19.99; theyre a lot cheaper than any I've seen on the web. That's all for now. CU@CIII!”

Sandtrooper Jimsjedi Reporting: Two Days and Counting!
"Get ready; the ultimate Star Wars Fan Fest-CIII is almost here. I cant wait to be in an environment that is 100% dedicated to Star Wars. This will be my first Celebration event. I have been to many Expos and Toy Shows, but nothing as huge as this. A couple of reminders: make sure you bring with you, money, money and more money. Cash, credit cards, travelers checks and personal checks will be accepted everywhere. For those of us with the digital equipment, make sure you bring your batteries, charger, extra memory cards, as well as all the connections/accessories for that laptop PC. This will be a chance of a lifetime to experience this, along with your many friends/family from Sandtroopers, as well as meeting fans from all over the world. There have been MANY announcements from the official Celebration III site over the last couple of months as to what will be going on at this event. Read more about this here."

The Outlander Club At Celebration 3 :
Hi Troops! I just wanted to let everybody know that I was invited by the great Star Wars diorama builder Frank D'Iorio (aka NiubNiub) to Celebration 3 to unleash my latest diorama creation to the public, The Coruscant Outlander Club. This is by far my largest creation being four feet wide by five feet deep. It was built in six sections that all piece together to form the entire club built to acomadate 3 inch figures. Our very own David Marks (aka Y-WingJager) raced against the clock to provide over 60 custom figures and vehicles to populate this monster diorama. You're the man Dave! You really did an OUTSTANDING job.

I will not be there for the opening day on Thursday, but if all goes well It should be all set up for Friday's opening and a Saturday showing. I hope to meet a lot of you diorama builders out there to share stories and maybe a few tips. Maybe I'll even be able to inspire a few people to start building dioramas of there own.

Have a safe trip if your going to the show, and I hope to see you there. Like Fred Sanford would say.."This is the big one Lizabeth!".

Sandtroopette Donna Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Costal Defender“Hey Troops, Donna from So Cal here. Just got back from spending the week in Sacramento. Did some hunting there but no luck in my quest for figs #33-#40. Then by hunting back in So Cal the last two days, my luck changed. Taking everybody's tip about Kohls, I went to two local ones and found the Clone Commander, Grievous, and Palpatine with the red saber. Then I went by TRU and found the Clone Pilot, Vader's Droid, Polis, Mas Amedda, and Palpatine with blue saber. No sign of the Tank Gunner. Went by Target and found the 12" Shaak Ti and Barriss Offee. KB had the new Chewie exclusive and also the battle arena sets. Lastly, the AT-RT with Driver is showing up, I think, in their own case. I found 5 at both Target and TRU. But beware, it seems Target has them priced at $19.99 like the mid size vehicle where as TRU is priced at $14.99 which! I think is the correct price like the BARC Speeder. Happy Hunting to all and wishing all who are going to C3 loads of fun since I am not able to.

Sandtrooper Jedimaster Eric Reports:
“Hello Troops, There is not to much to mention here in Niagara Falls, NY now that the hype from the 4/2 release is over. So far I have been able to get all of the figures minus 37-40. I know they will be easier to find in the coming weeks. However, due to a recent car accident I was injured in, I am no longer able to attend CIII and was hoping that someone out there could help a fellow trooper out. I need the exclusive talking Vader figure. I will pay, trade, whatever I can.”

Sandtrooper Jedimaster-C Reports:
Are they still making these?“I went to Target this morning. We have 2 of them and one had the 12-inch Shaak Ta and Baris Offee. Both looked good but I don't fool with the 12-inch figures. Cool nonetheless. They also had one ARC-170 if anyone in the Huntsville area is looking for one. I also ran into this pretty hilarious Star Wars Spoof, maybe some of the other Troopers will think it was as funny as I did. Good luck to you guys at CIII. Take care.”

Three New Trailers at StarWars.com!
Obi-Wan holding his own against General Grievous! The Official Site has just released three additional trailers for the upcoming Revenge of the Sith film, which will be out in theaters in exactly one month from today. The three trailers are the following: "Jedi Action 1," "Jedi Action 2" and "Unite." These are approximately thirty seconds in length, but you will see quite a bit of new footage that we haven't seen yet. In "Unite" you will have the opportunity of hearing General Grievous speak for the very first time, and I was kind of shocked that it wasn't the same voice used from the animated Clone Wars micro-series. Watch at your own risk, because some scenes show some spoiler related material.

Sandtrooper Bobafred Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Demolition Expert, Columbus,OH“Bobafred chiming in from SoCal. I just wanted to let you troops know to stay on Target if in need of 12-inch Shak Ti & Offee, and also the baby chicken walker. Wal-Mart stores seem to receive sporadic shipments of the 33-40 figs if youre still looking. I also would like to give a big shout out to Chicano Dom for the hook up! And to all you Sandtroopers attending Celebration III, May The Force Be With You All! I unfortunately had to cancel, but will make it up at San Diego Comic con. Sandtrooper Carella Reports:
“Finally nailed down the last of the first forty (Chopper Droid). Still need a Palpatine with red Lightsaber. If someone has an extra I have lots to trade. Let me know. Most of the stores in Tucson have 1-33 and the usual assortment of mid-sized vehicles, games, puzzles, Lego, etc. Trading cards and pins are the only new things on the shelves since April 1st. How cool is Darth Vader corn flakes and Death Star M&Ms? Also, I could really use a CIII Vader that talk (I can't go to CIII cause I already booked for San Diego) so if any one has an extra to trade let me know. Peace and good hunting.”

Sandtrooper Darth Soprano Reports:
“Today when I went to pick up my advance tickets for Episode 3, I noticed these cups at the concession stand, they were $3.95 each, they also had one with Obi-Wan and General Grevious, dont know if all theaters are carrying them, but National Amusements Theaters are carrying them Im guessing it is because they carry Pepsi Products, they are made of very durable plastic.”

Sandtrooper Hoth Chad Reports:
“Hoth Chad from Minnesota checking in. I hit a lot of stores this weekend and this is what I found or didn't find. Wal-Mart and Toys R Us had nothing new or worth speaking of. Target had nothing new, except some remaining 33-36 figures. At Kohls I found figures 35-40, except 38. It seems that Kohls has the #35 Palpatine with the red saber. That is the only place I have found them. If you happen to have a Media Play by you they have the Battle Arenas there. I found the Palpatine vs. Mace and the Dooku vs. Skywalker, they are also $2 cheaper then they were at Toys R Us. If any troopers can get an extra C3 Vader, I'm looking for one to trade a Lava Vader for. Hope one of you can help me out. Thanks in advance.”

McGregor Won't Be Signing Anything!
When to Say WhenThe man who played the role of a much younger Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ewan McGregor, has informed Hollywood.com that he will not be signing any autographs on Star Wars memorabilia while working on his "Guys and Dolls" performance in London, England. He explains, "I made a decision a while back, I'm not going to be available to sign Star Wars stuff at the stage door." To read more about this click here.

New Trailer of the EP3 Video Game At StarWars.com!
Yoda about to kick some major butt! The Official Site has just released a new trailer for the upcoming Episode III video game, which is due to be released on May 5th, and you will definitely want to go see it NOW! You do have to be a Hyperspace member in order to see the new trailer, but I'm sure it will soon become available on their website. I'd like to go into full details about this new trailer, but I don't want to reveal any possible spoilers since there are a couple clips that are a bit revealing. All I can say is that this game is going to have as much action as the movie, and it should easily be the best Star Wars video game to date! Enjoy!
