Sandtrooper Sithryan Reports:
Sandtrooper Sithryan Reports:"Hey Troopers! I will trade you a Clone Commander AND a Red Royal Guard for a Target exclusive Clone Trooper. Mine are both C-9 or better. Is the Target Clone still available? Let me know, and let me know its condition. I will toss in a DVD of Clone Wars Season 3 also. I burned it from my TIVO straight to DVD, so it looks great. Let me know ASAP! Thanks!"

sithryan@msn.com

Ryan, the Target exclusive Clone Trooper is still available, but not all Targets have them out quite yet. Keep looking because they're bound to show up sometime for you. If you ask one of the store managers to look it up in their system for you, they might be able to hook you up. The DCPI# for the exclusive Clone Trooper is 087-06-1489. If they have them, not all store managers will put them out on the shelves since they're supposed to hold off until May 1st (tomorrow). Good luck with the hunt!

Sandtrooper Mike Reports:
“I have been looking to trade with someone who has an extra CIII Vader. Right now all I have is an extra Lava Vader to trade, but if there is something else you need I might be able to get it. I saw the CIII Vader going for some crazy prices too. I am also looking for Holographic Yoda. I have The Lava Vader and soon I may be able to get a extra Clone Trooper from Target if the Force is with me. So if you're searching for Lava Vader, maybe we can work something out.”

Desert Warfare“Bobafred chiming in from So Cal. Just wanted to give you troopers a super heads up on the Target 5 pack clamshells.... they don't fit! So don't waste the trip. I just don't get it? They had this problem with Lava Vader, rectified it with Articulated Clone, and now dropped the ball hard on this one. (Clearance here they come!) I was able to actually try one on in the store and wow...a major let down for your Bulls Eye. They will damage your card top in a heartbeat. On a brighter note Toys R us is putting out cases with the following figs 3 Clone Commanders, 2 Nemodian Warriors, 2 Wookiee Warriors, 2 Articulated clone trooper, 2 Battle Droids, oh and 1 Clone pilot if your still looking. Mustafar play set in Simi Valley Wal-Mart still no signs any were else! Bobafred On the Hunt signing out!”

ROTS Figs #41-#44 are out!
Hello fellow troopers. I just wanted to let you all know that this afternoon I picked up a few new ROTS action figures at Toys-R-Us of all places. I picked up two of #42 - Neimoidian Warrior, two of #43 - Wookiee Warrior, and one of #44 - Destroyer Droid. If I would of arrived to Toys-R-Us about ten minutes earlier I would of had a few of the #41 - Clone Trooper. There was a guy with a cart who had about ten or so of the Clone Troopers, ten or so of the Wookiee Warriors, two or three of the Destroyer Droid, and about seven of the Neimoidian Warrior. They are $5.99 each at my Toys-R-Us so better head out and stop in. Happy Hunting.

Sandtrooper ray2622 Reports:
"Hey troops, bought an extra Target Clone Trooper today to trade since a number of you have asked looking to trade it since I only want two and have three. If anyone is intrested e-mail me. I'm looking for a Lava Vader or the Clone Commander, red Royal Guard or Clone Pilot. Naturally I'm not asking for all of that, otherwise I'd be out of my mind but if anyone has extra let me know. Also I'm very new to this so let me know how trades work."

The best way to learn trades is to check out our Trades section in the forums to see how other Troopers are doing their trades, and also check out our Trading Rules. Any other questions let me know.

Sandtrooper Jedi Scholar Reports:
"I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who know if there is a collectors' club in Northwest Indiana? If not, I am hereby announcing th formation of one. I am tired of searching high and low in Lake and Porter counties searching for figures I never find. I have a hard time believing that these items simply never come to our "Region," and instead believe that the Scalper Menace lurks nearby. Anyone interested in beginning a club of our own here in NW INdiana, email me at jedischolar8@rebelscum.net. It's time we stood together here in The
Region and helped one another out. Hope to hear from all soon!"

Sandtrooper Timponobi Reports:
"Saw your Atlanta post regarding the Target Ex Clone trooper. This collector is incorrect. I landed two of these unique troopers at the NP Target in Alpharetta, GA this past Monday (4/25). I did relay this to my local collecting site, but found out later that all were gone. Scalper possibly? It is a great figure and very similar to the first ROTS trooper. However, you cannot change out the shoulder pad to an imperial insignia nor does it have an action feature when squeezing the legs. Thought your readers would like to know. Love the site!"

Sandtrooper DarthPharaoh Reports:
"DarthPharaoh reporting in from Atlanta (The Land that Star Wars forgot). Well, though I couldn't make it to CIII (same weekend as my Egyptology convention and being on a chapter board it had to take precedent) I did manage to get a talking Vader from StarWarsShop.com. Thank the Force I can have AOL on during my work hours. It came today and is as cool as advertised. On the collecting front I completed my #1-40 collection by finally getting an AT-TE Gunner. I found one at a Kohl`s in Clifton Park, NY of all places. Locally though I found the Operating Table Vader and Jetpack Clone at a Wal-Mart in Suwanee, Ga. Was actually getting other stuff and spotted them on the pegs as I walked by the Star Wars aisle so I grabbed em. As for the Target Clone Trooper, I've called all seven Targets between my work and home and none have received it yet and one toy manager didn't even know what it was. Typical for this area. Guess I'm waiting til the 8th. Hope everyone can be as patient as I have and not have to go the scalper route to get what they want. I could use one more Gunner though. If anyone has one to trade I have anything you might need in return of #1-40 except for Palpatine #35. Happy hunting and death to all scalpers!!!"

What's in Store for Hyperspace Members?
HyperspaceWe all know that Revenge of the Sith will be the last Star Wars movie to ever come out, but that doesn't mean Star Wars will be ending anytime soon. Lucasfilm will be busy working on two TV series (one animated and the other will be live-action), so there will be lots to look forward to in the next several years. There's also a slight chance for a Celebration IV convention in 2007 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. Hyperspace has been providing its members all sorts of exclusive content for ROTS and Celebration III, and the "exclusive content" will continue on. So what exactly is in store for Hyperspace members? You can check out all the details about Hyperspace membership here.

Sandtrooper ray2622 Reports:
"Hey Troops, many of you have e-mailed me regarding the numbers on the Target super-articulated Clone Trooper. The SKU number is 087061489, and I'm happy to help you with it. The only thing that continually saddens me are the scalpers, just out of curiosity I went to eBay and checked in on how much they were going for. Some of these people had cases of them and selling each figure for $89.99. It's sad and unfortunate for our hobby to be ruined by these people, because it really does take some of the fun out. The Celebration III Darth Vader is a good example of this. Scalpers bought cases when they went on sale at StarWarsShop.com and people like me who have lives couldn't have the oppurtunity to purchase such a great item. Also, does anyone know if Target will ever get the Lava Vader in or are they completely sold out? And before I forget I bought my Target Clone Troopers at the Prince Georges Target in West Hyattsville, Maryland. For those of you who wanted to know, they are apparently one of the few Targets that still have plenty."

“Hothchad checking in from Minnesota. Hit a number of Target, Wal-Mart, and Toys-R-Us stores today. Here is what I found: Target: found some figures 32-40 minus #38, seen Palpatine with the red saber. Have not seen any of the exclusive Target Clone Troopers yet. Wal-Mart: found the same stuff as Target. Toys-R-Us: found nothing new at the store I went to. I'm still in need of a CIII Vader and have a Lava Vader to trade, if any fellow Troopers can help me out let me know. Until next time.”

George Lucas Unmasked!
George Lucas Unmasked! The online version of Wired Magazine has written up an article about the true master of the Force... George Lucas. In the article they go into the mind of Lucas, where Lucas actually admits that even he's a fan of Star Wars. He was quoted at saying, "I like Star Wars, but I certainly never expected it would take over my life." Read the full story here.

Major CIII Update: Take no Prisoners!
Sandtrooper Dennis seeks out George LucasWe are continuing to add to our Celebration III section. Today we feature a report from the George Lucas appearance on Saturday from Sandtrooper Dennis. Short but sweet, he was one of the millions that made sure they got to the first appearance of George since 1998! We also have added my journal and a few photos from Sunday as well. It was quite an event and we have received a large amount of positive feedback on the Sandtrooper T-shirt. I'd like to personally thank Steve Sanchez of Hotinks.com for the design, truly an amazing talent along with our own Emperor Crypt who has taken the last year off to dedicate himself full time there. I was able to distribute them all over Celebration to fans across the world. Speaking of which, make sure to check out the coverage at SWNZ from our S.C.A.L.P. Foreign Legion member Matt Glascow. You thought it was rough making this thing, try attending CIII from outside the U.S.! Stay tuned to Sandtroopers.com as we continue to update our Celebration III section. United We Find.

Desert Warfare“Bobafred Chiming in from So Cal. Just wanted to let you troops know that the Target super articulated Clone Trooper has been shooting out the door (or back doors) at a majority of the Targets in the S.F.V. I had a very helpful guest service rep pull inventory at all the stores that carries them, and it looks like 36 pieces per store is there allotment for those who have not broke the on shelf street date of May 8th. The most interesting thing is that other stores only had 2, 7, 8, 13, etc. foul play? Or supplemental income? So stay on it Troops! I have an extra Target exclusive articulated Clone, or Lava Vader, Unleashed Vader, Cantina scenes 1 or 2, for a still in need of CIII Vader. Give me a holler so we can work it out.”

Sandtrooper Mike Reports:
“I went to my local Target and found #35 Palpatine with red saber. There was two and I have read that people where looking for this one with the red saber. I bought both red saber ones, one to trade for either a blue saber Palpatine with blue saber or Polis Massan. I cannot find a Polis anywhere around here it is like it goes on the shelve and sells out right away. But I would rather have a Blue saber Palpatine. I will trade for either one, but prefer the other Palpatine. Also have a lot of clone commanders and clone pilots if anyone is looking for them I pick them up for trade.”

Two TV Shows Coming Soon
George LucasWell, I think just about everyone here knows that there will be two TV shows coming out in a year or so, one being the animated Clone Wars micro-series (to be 30 minutes in length) and a live-action TV series. What some Troopers might not know is that the live-action TV series will take place between Episodes III and IV. Lucas said, "We're probably not going to start that for about a year. Like on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, we want to write all the stories for the entire first season all at once. I'm going to get it started and hire the showrunners and all of that, then I'll probably step away." Just the thought of Lucas continuing the Star Wars saga is so incredibly exciting to all Star Wars fans, but I hope it's as good as all the films have been. Read more about this here.

Episode III TV Guides Available Tomorrow!
Episode III Tv GuideAvailable in most stores tomorrow (4/28) will be five different TV Guides to commemorate the upcoming movie, Revenge of the Sith. What's cool about these are that they're animated, meaning the image on the covers change when you look at them from different angles. The five that are coming out include the following: Anakin Skywalker (holding his lightsaber changes to the hooded Anakin then to Darth Vader), Padme Amidala (changes to her daughter Princess Leia), Animated Wookiee Battle (on their home planet of Kashyyyk), Chancellor Palpatine (transforming into to the shrouded Emperor) and the epic duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin on Mustafar. "Hello Troops! Been a while since I wrote in. I have not done much in the way of collecting in the last two years. With the forth coming of Episode III I am getting excited. I have decided to go after a few of the figures. I did find an extra Clone Commander today, and I would like to make a trade with a fellow trooper. What I am looking for is a AT-TE driver. What I have to offer is the following (I will trade one for one): Clone Pilot (#34), Clone Commander (#33), Clone Trooper (#6), and the cloaked version General Grevious (#36). So if you want to trade, let me know which figure you would like to have and send me an email. MTFBWY!"

Sandtrooper Bobafett 277 Reports:
“Word up Troopers! BobaFett277 here coming down from an all weekend super buzz of Star Wars at CIII with JediSpirit, and wow was it crazy! We were actually turned away Saturday because we didn't know if we were going for sure until after it was to late to preorder, so Saturday morning we show up and are told we cant get badges to get in because the damn fire Marshall wont let anymore people in because the building is at its 90,000 maximum capacity! This was first thing in the morning and we are told to come back later and try in the afternoon, which we did and once again were turned away. (Not even Jedi mind tricks worked) So, after a 4 hour drive from St. Louis, a hotel room, 2 trips to the convention center from the hotel which costs 10 bucks each time for parking, not to mention a very long walk in quite cold weather and a very, very long wait, there we stood outside the convention center. DENIED. The Dark Side was strong, and we were two very unhappy troopers. We did manage to make the most of it and instead spent our Saturday night in an adult establishment with some very "friendly" local Hoosier girls. Sunday the Dark Side had been lifted and we actually got in and scored the C3 Vader, but a lot of other items were sold out. We did score the popular Sandtroopers.com shirt and met Darth Spice, which was cool. The exhibition hall was the only thing we got to really check out because the lines were beyond comprehension. A person could actually lose his mind waiting in some of these lines. There was a sign at one point to get into the store that said 7-hour wait from here. Wow. Overall, it was cool and I'm glad I was there. I did manage to score an extra CIII Vader that I would like to trade for a Lava Vader. Drop me a line if interested. I saw a recent post by my old buddy Britt and wanted to give him a shout out! A great trooper and cool dude. Also a shout out for Vaughn. He's an old school trooper that I wish I could've met at CIII.”

“This is for all troopers looking for the new Target exclusive Clone Trooper! All Targets have them and most of them ARE waiting till May 8th to put them out. So do what I did and ask them to go in the back and pull them out for you they will do this. The employee brought me out 2 of them today (even though I only asked for one but what the heck I bought them both anyway). This way when they officially come out you wont have to wait and either deal with the crowds or the fact that their sold out. It worked for me, maybe it will work for you too.”

Sandtrooper Jedi Dom Reports:
Sandtrooper Jedi Dom Reports:"Just had to put in my two cents about CIII. It was awesome! Met a lot of cool people and acquired a toy or two (or more). One of the best parts was meeting folks from Sandtroopers.com. Spice, you have a terrific family! Now, how can we get your wife to explain this insane hobby to my wife. Anyway, as the memory of the lines fades, the joy of being at the all-time greatest Star Wars gathering ever grows. If you couldn't make it, enjoy the pics that have been posted. Toy news: found the exclusive KB 14" Chewie at Gurnee Mills on the way home. That's all."

Day 4: Turn out the Lights, the Party's Over!
If I may be so bold as to borrow a quote from the great Reverend Slick. Hey Troopers I have a very small amount of Sandtrooper T-Shirts that were set aside for particular Troopers who didn't make it to CIII. If anyone is interested please drop me a line. They were a smash hit at CIII and my only regret is funds were not there to make thousands more. Gerald Home, Zack and Jesse Jensen and many more actually requested them to my disbelief. I guess a highlight was running into Steve Sansweet and him accepting my gift, truly memorable and good times. Drop me an email if you feel you are a hardcore S.C.A.L.P. who will not be left behind. I'd post Sundays events but stay tuned to tomorrow. I need some reality and a little non Star Wars time. Until tomorrow, same Trooper time, same Trooper channel. Update: The shirts are as of now gone, we are in discussion to produce another run to make sure we leave no Troop behind.

Sandtrooper Darkjedi29 Reports:
"Hey troopers! Just got back from C3 with all kinds of signed figures, let me tell you, Temura Morrison is the greatest celebrity of them all! He was so friendly and outgoing, not what I expected, all the female Jedi were HOT (Shaak Ti, Barris, Luminara, and Mara Jade were looking so good)! Anyway, I need help! Where can I get star cases for the ROTS figures? Normal cases don't seem to fit, any help is appreciated! I got my C3 Vader figure but I didn't have to wait in line for it, one of the smaller vendors had one for 25.00 so I snagged it! I didn't think others were allowed to sell it but I wasn't waiting. Also got some FX sabers, ordered my Vader supreme costume (which looked awesome!!!). Anyway, for those of you who couldn't make it, you missed a great convention, it was worth the wait! Any help on the star cases is appreciated. Thanks!"

Sandtroopette Donna Reports:
Sandtrooper Donna SoCal Reports:"Hey Troops, Donna from So Cal here. Spent a couple of days in Vegas while all you lucky troopers are in Indy for C3. Did some hunting but came up empty in finding that elusive AT-TE Gunner for me to complete the first 40 figs. I did, however, find the new Mustafar Playset at Wal-mart and the newest wave of Galactic Heros (Kit Fisto, Mace, etc) at Target. I also stopped by the M&M store on the strip, to see if they had any Mpire items for sale. They had only one T-shirt (Dare to go to the Dark Side) but I also found a Revenge of the Sith Stock Car by Action. Back in So Cal, I found the new 5-pack Star Cases and the second wave of Micro Sets (AT-AT & Snowspeeder, X-wing & Vader's Tie, Shuttle & Slave I) at Target. The Micro Sets wouldn't ring up at the register but the associate manually entered them in. If you are still looking for the Ho! lo Yoda, try looking on the pegs at TRU. I found a whole case hanging on the pegs. Lastly, Kohls has lowered their prices on figs to $5.99. I purchased a couple of figs there last week for $6.99 but was able to get a price adjustment refund. Happy Hunting to all!"

Sandtrooper Jeffred5 Reports:
"Hey Troopers! I just got back from CIII and wanted to check in a little. I'm sorry to say I spent Thursday in line from 9:30am until 7:30pm in line for my CIII Vader. It's a great figure but I'm being checked for mental problems for waiting in line ten hours for two SW action figures. Day 2 was a lot better for me. One thing I saw at Hasbro was the Target exclusive Clone Trooper (which I hadn't heard of before). If you don't find one just yet don't worry, the official word from Hasbro is that it won't be out until May 5th, with the new game and the soundtrack and other stuff. I also did well on the way home to Detroit. I stopped at every Wal-Mart and Target I saw along I-69 and got an AT-RT (Target $19.95) a bit expensive for a small toy, but pretty cool. I also found the exploding General Grievous and #35 Palpatine (Blue Saber). Does anyone know yet if the red or the blue #35 Palpatine is more rare? I thought the blue was a mistake and therefore rare, but Hasbro does show it in their display at CIII so it's no mistake. MTFBWY!"

jlj1971@sbcglobal.net

Jeff, the red saber Palpatine (#35) does seem to be the more rare of the two versions. I have yet to see this figure in any store in the Chicagoland area, but then again I'm going up against an army of Star Wars collectors by me. If you're in need of the red saber variation, you might want to post that and your other wants in our Classifieds or Trades section of the forums.

Sandtrooper Hothchad Reports:
"Hothchad from Minnesota. Went out today looking for anything new and found some new deluxe figures at Wal-Mart. I found Yoda on Can-Cell, Clone Trooper with jetpack, Darth Vader with operating table, and also the Vulture Droid. I passed on the Vulture Droid. Other than that nothing new at the Targets and Wal-Marts I stopped at, but I'm not complaining on what I did find. Until next time."

chadbarb@sherbtel.net

Chad, what color were the Vulture Droids at your Wal-Mart? Were they blue or brown? I only ask because at Celebration III they were brown, but Hasbro had them colored blue on their website. Only wondering if we're dealing with a variation to that deluxe set. Thanks!

Sandtrooper Britt Reports:
"Old school in the house! I've been away for awhile again with back problems, but the new toys and movie have got me stoked. Nice to see a picture of old Vaughn from the photos from CIII. Anyway, glad to post again. Just got back from NYC and the TRU there was so killer. They had a full size LEGO Darth Vader and Chewie. I picked up the last wave there also. I was very upset at the amount of figures just thrown into bins there. They were all ruined and some nice figs were in there. Picked up my holo Yoda after getting #33-#40. They had tons of everything, but searching through five bins of figs got real old. Had a few red saber Palpatine and just a few of the last wave, but everything else was loaded... all ships, Force Battlers, 12" figures, etc. Alright folks, I'm trying to compile a list of my older stuff amn I'm planning on getting rid of a lot due to space and paying for my reakin' back. When it's done I'll post it here first. I'll give all a chance before the evil ebay has to be used. MTFBWY!"

Celebration III, Day 3: Pictures from Darth Spice
Sandtroopers showing off their new threads.Day 3 is now over, meaning there's only one more day to Celebration III. Darth Spice has transmitted to me several new digital photos and a great report, and in the report he mentions that he met up with many loyal Sandtroopers. I really wish I could have been there to meet everyone in person, but it will have to happen at another time. I still can't get over how sweet those T-shirts look on you guys! Impressive... MOST impressive! Check out all the photos and read Darth Spice's report here.

"I just wanted to say thaks for all the great phots from C3. I wish I could have attended the Celebration, but due to work schedules and other things I could not. The pictures of the fans in costumes are awesome and the pictures of the new items coming out out awesome. The only bright side is that one of my internet friends is attending and I will receive a C3 Vader, but keep up the good work and thanks again."

"Greetings troops! I found LOTS of toys last night late at Wal-Mart but due to a paycheck fiasco with my employer, didn't have the cash for them. It seems that Wal-Mart is the place to hit, as they had new figures at three local Wal-Marts yesterday in Idaho, as well as other parts of the country. I DO have an extra Red Royal Guard I'd like to trade for an AT-TE Driver with removable helmet. My Red guard is C-9 or better. Any takers??? Let me know! I will include a bonus dvd with the trade. Email me with any questions."

Celebration III, Day 2: Jimsjedi Has Exciting News!
The Official LetterFrom Jimsjedi: "Today I was sitting in for none other than Christine Hewett (Cantina Tonnika Twin Sister). Last summer Spice met up with her and had a great interview and once I introduced myself from the site, she lit up, and said how much she really liked Spice and the rest of the site. 10 minutes into my shift she was pulled away for 20 minutes. The following is a Sandtroopers.Com Exclusive Announcement direct from Christine herself. When she came back she was very happy, she told me that she had just met up with the Hasbro reps to finally talk about releasing her character as a figure."

Sandtrooper Avenging Knight Reports:
"After the end of a near fruitless toy run this morning, after only having found a red saber Palpatine at Wal-Mart, I was checking the last of my three local Targets when low and behold I found the exclusive Target Clone Trooper. It is a super articulated figure, however it rings up at a somewhat high price of $12.99. I guess that's the going rate for a Target figure in it's own clamshell case. The packaging has nothing on it to indicate whether it is limited in production or not. Happy hunting everybody."

Two Different Colored Vulture Droids?
Brown Vulture DroidAfter creating that second photo gallery for Darth Spice, I noticed something about one of the Hasbro toys in his photos. If you look closely at the Vulture Droid that should be out in stores now, you'll notice in this photo that the color of it is the typical brown/bronze color from previous Star Wars movies. However, in the pictures that have been presented to us by Hasbro, you'll notice the color of these are the new light/dark blue that represents the Separatist Army. Are there going to be two different colored versions of these? Which one is going to be the variation here? Just thought I would share thought with all of our loyal Troopers.

Day 1 Complete: Can I play with Madness?
Hey Troops, it's been complete and total line. Jimsjedi summed things up pretty good, it's like Great America with no 2 minute thrill in three hours, only another line. The greatest thing has been the fans. The costumes have been incredible and everyone seems to be very courteous and understanding of the situation. It is sad because people who paid for admission and had badges mailed to them could have possibly been in line at 3:30 p.m. when the show opened at 1 o'clock p.m.! I started the day by trying to nail down the Gentle Giant Sandtrooper bust. With that accomplished I took disregard for the Vader and pursued photo opportunities to help bring some of the action for those of you who could not attend for whatever reason. I spend the afternoon with my padawans and toured the various exhibit halls. Some great notes from the previous photos were the Lucasfilm prop room, completely breath taking to be so close to something we all love so much. It has been nice to spend time and meet so many of the Troopers. Meeting former General Vaughn Whisker, Trooper Bill Varner, Trooper Ray Candelaria and so many others, truly amazing and special. Makes you remember the guys who used to make this place so special. I look forward to finding the legions of legacy Troopers who are still walking around, or in the line I'm not! It was nice to see many of the friendly faces in the autograph room. Gerald Home, Christine Hewitt, Sean Crawford and so many others, so very kind and happy to pose for photos for all of you. I will do some more work in there tomorrow, but Indy is running short on air it's so crowded down here. I apologize for not reporting much sooner, madness it is Troopers, like none I've ever seen. I will try to check back in tomorrow and after I return I will continue to update our CIII section. Its one hell of a party, but for those of you at home who are thinking you are missing something, you are. There is also much more aggravation you'd be glad you are not seeing. I will forward dustrho a few images I snapped after the first 100 but look for more shots, Snipe and Boussh will be reporting on opening ceremonies and much, much more!

Sandtrooper Moxy Reports:
Have just returned to the UK from New York. TRU in Times Square had loads of the 12" Emperor and Clone Trooper, however only got General Grievous at the third attempt, and then they only had three, so I felt very lucky. Is Target the only store doing 12" Shaak Ti and Barriss Offee? I tried the Manhatten Mall but no joy. Was really after these two, as they look superb, however I will be returning next month so any information is much appreciated. The UK selection is dire, no 12" ones yet and very pricey for the smaller ones."

Sandtrooper The Devils Ewok Reports:
The Devils Ewok"Well fellow Troopers, here in Minnesota it's hit and miss, I hit scalpers with my car, and no one misses them. Ok, enough about my other hobby, on to the stores:

Toys 'R Us: Did anyone not go to Midnight Madness? If you didn't hit TRU, because everything that was left over from Midnight Madness is still there (not counting Holo Yoda).

Target: Was actually suprised to see a TON of Aayla's, Luminara's and Ki-Adi's there, otherwise nothing new.

Wal-Mart: The store most love to hate treated me right the other night around midnight. An AT-TE Gunner, Polis Massian and Vader's Medical Droid sat on the shelf. Off to the side? Pallets, now usually I open cases myself, but there was actually an employee working the section that night (gasp!). I asked and he opened a case. BINGO! Clone Commanders, Clone Pilot, Red Saber Palpatine, Grievous #3 etc. I grabbed two Clone Commanders (one for me and one for a friend), the AT-TE Gunner and Red Sabe Plapatine. I left the rest (including the extremly dissapointing Clone Pilot, ugh, what an ugly figure).

Hit your Wal-Marts late Troopers, and hit your scalpers often, hard and repeatedly!"

"Just a heads up to anyone in SE Massachusetts that, like me, missed out on the Toys 'R Us Yoda. I randomly stoped by the TRU in Swansea to see if they any figs I needed... none. But to my surprise had five of those little guys hang'n around the store. There of course is still the "pre-deal" price of $9.99, but if ya missed him like I did, just pop by and go to the regular figure section because I put the rest since I had zero cash on me in the middle of the figure bin. Gotta hold'em out from the scalpers! Also, anyone know whats the deal with the Wal-Mart at Swansea Mall? I mean it's the only place I've been to that doesn't have a Star Wars section. Just the old peg setting with three figs hang'n. It's been like this for a long while now, at this point its kinda freaking me out. Keep scout'n Troops!"

Thanks for helping the fight against scalpers! It's great that you placed those extra Holographic Yodas away like that, so other true Star Wars collectors can have the chance at acquiring them, instead of seeing those go up on eBay. United We Find!

Sandtrooper dustrho Reporting In:
Well, it was the first time since April 2nd that I was able to do a toy run, since my wife and I gave birth to our new son, Lucas. Thankfully it was a fairly successful mission for me. I first stopped at Toys 'R Us by the Fox Valley Mall, and they only had figures #1-32, so there wasn't anything out of those that I was in need of. However, I did find a single 12" General Grievous that I quickly snatched up before anyone else could steal it away from me. That made me a happy camper. There wasn't anything else there that was new, but they did have SEVERAL of the ARC-170 Starfighters, which surprised me since I didn't see a single one of them when I was there for Midnight Madness. And just before I left the store I walked over toward the little kids area to see if I could find myself a Darth Tater figure, since I hadn't seen these in any store in my area. Must have been my lucky day, because there were about ten of these bad boys sitting on the shelves. I picked up two of them, one for me and one for my son.

I then tried Kohl's by Fox Valley Mall, and they didn't have diddly squat of Star Wars stuff there. What a wasted trip that was, but luckily it was in the immediate area so at least I didn't go completely out of my way.

I also stopped at Best Buy to check out the exclusive Darth Sidious lightsaber from Master Replicas, and they had about seven of them in stock. One of them had the shrink wrap off, so I was able to see it up close and I wasn't all that impressed with it. It was one of the gold ones and boy are these things small (obviously I don't collect these, well at least not yet anyway). I decided to pass on this, because I didn't want to end up with the gold one.

I then stopped at Target there and they had the usual figures #1-32, but nothing from #33-40. They had all the Target exclusive figure/cup sets there, and I was pretty impressed with the look of that General Grievous figure... not bad at all. They had lots of the General Grievous guards, but nothing in the area of army-building (which is something I focus most of my attention toward).

Lastly I stopped at Meijers across the street, and they didn't have much of anything there. They had a few deluxe figures and a handful of basic figures, but that was about it.

It actually felt pretty good going out on a toy hunt, something I really haven't done in quite some time. Luckily I came home with my 12" General Grievous and a couple Darth Taters.

Good luck everyone and United We Find!

Sandtrooper Starfox Reports:
Starfox Has All the Luck!"Hello from Central Texas! Things have been kinda slow since 4/2 when the first 32 figures hit and pieces of others have shown up now and then. Today at our brand new Super Wal-Mart in Harker Heights, I saw my first #40 + figures and I almost overlooked them. I picked up the #41 SA Clone Trooper, at first glance, I thought he was #6, they look very similar in the packaging. Also there was the Neimodian Warrior, Destroyer Droid and a red sabered Palpy figure... only one of each, someone must have beat me to the others! They also have tons of Deluxe figures, Beast figures and ARC-170... you name it they pretty much have it.

At Target, I saw the 12" PEZ dispensers, they are BIG, but my wife told me NO! So I left them there for the younger generation. Odd though, the candy itself looked normal size, I wonder if if shoots out a whole pack ata time or one peice??? Target also had the MicroMachine type packs as well as the first 32 figures all marked now at $5.24 to compete with Wal-Mart.

K-Mart has the Palm Talkers still and a few of the first 32 figures and the new AskMe/Story Telling Yoda... but all priced too high there. I skipped KB, nothing new really that no one else has, but more expensive... no wonder they keep closing stores!

SunCoast in the Mall has a few items, GG mini-busts and the ROTS Republic Gunship (only place I've seen theis bad boy)!

UPDATED: Supplemental report coming in from starfox in Killeen, TX. Big news, I have not seen this posted anywhere yet, but my local Wal-Mart put out today some of the newer deluxe figures for $9.96 each, to include: Darth Vader: Operating Table (sweet!), Yoda on Bug, Clone Trooper w/flying jetpack & Vulture droids! The down side, all the bubbles were partially crushed, so I left them all there! That's all... stay tuned for news from the gang at C3... starfox signing off...

Happy Trails: Operation Sandstorm Phase I
With mere hours until opening ceremonies for the greatest celebration in the history of Star Wars many of us are making last minute double checks over our Dewbacks and making sure our backpacks are loaded for the long trip. I'm not your normal Commander, I don't wait for the ground forces to arrive, I go in first with the rest of the commando team. It will be with great pleasure to meet up with some fellow staff members as well as the Troops, whether it is a seasoned veteran or a new recruit. At Celebration II I had only began my tour of duty with Sandtroopers.com. Much has changed since then and over the years weve covered some ground but nothing as quite as big as this. Hopefully everyone will have patience with one another and realize its one big line. Enjoy yourself and extend your hand to your collecting brother. Our S.C.A.L.P. Weapons Supplier will remain behind and help bring the show to those of you who cant make the event. Once again hope to meet the thousands of you who make this place so special year round. Stay tuned to our Celebration III Section from Wednesday until Sunday; well be on patrol for the entire event. If you are looking for us we should be around the Federation Toys Booth #132. If not someone there should know how to contact one of us. United We Find Troops!

Sandtrooper Dom Reports:
Anyone have a 12-inch Plo Koon?“Hey Troops, I'm all geared up for Thursday. Just wanted to drop a note before I saddle up the old dewback and head south to Indy. On the recent tips about the 12-inch Shaak-Tis and Offees appearing at Targets, I decided to try the Oshkosh Target in East Central Wisconsin. None were there, but I did find the three ROTS figs with glasses. I picked up the Gen. Grievous with glass. And here's the big news: they had all four giant Pez dispensers. These things are a lot cooler than I had thought. They stand at tall at 12 inches and at $19.99; theyre a lot cheaper than any I've seen on the web. That's all for now. CU@CIII!”

Sandtrooper Jimsjedi Reporting: Two Days and Counting!
"Get ready; the ultimate Star Wars Fan Fest-CIII is almost here. I cant wait to be in an environment that is 100% dedicated to Star Wars. This will be my first Celebration event. I have been to many Expos and Toy Shows, but nothing as huge as this. A couple of reminders: make sure you bring with you, money, money and more money. Cash, credit cards, travelers checks and personal checks will be accepted everywhere. For those of us with the digital equipment, make sure you bring your batteries, charger, extra memory cards, as well as all the connections/accessories for that laptop PC. This will be a chance of a lifetime to experience this, along with your many friends/family from Sandtroopers, as well as meeting fans from all over the world. There have been MANY announcements from the official Celebration III site over the last couple of months as to what will be going on at this event. Read more about this here."

The Outlander Club At Celebration 3 :
Hi Troops! I just wanted to let everybody know that I was invited by the great Star Wars diorama builder Frank D'Iorio (aka NiubNiub) to Celebration 3 to unleash my latest diorama creation to the public, The Coruscant Outlander Club. This is by far my largest creation being four feet wide by five feet deep. It was built in six sections that all piece together to form the entire club built to acomadate 3 inch figures. Our very own David Marks (aka Y-WingJager) raced against the clock to provide over 60 custom figures and vehicles to populate this monster diorama. You're the man Dave! You really did an OUTSTANDING job.

I will not be there for the opening day on Thursday, but if all goes well It should be all set up for Friday's opening and a Saturday showing. I hope to meet a lot of you diorama builders out there to share stories and maybe a few tips. Maybe I'll even be able to inspire a few people to start building dioramas of there own.

Have a safe trip if your going to the show, and I hope to see you there. Like Fred Sanford would say.."This is the big one Lizabeth!".

London to Host a 6-Movie Marathon
BBC News has recently reported that London's Leicester Square will be showing all six Star Wars films as an all-day marathon, to celebrate the release of the final film to the Star Wars saga, Revenge of the Sith. You'll be able to spot many Stormtroopers patrolling the area so that all is well that day, and in the background the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing Star Wars music for free. Tickets for this even will go on sale on April 25, and are expected to be priced at 50. Read the full article Here.

Sandtroopette Donna Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Costal Defender“Hey Troops, Donna from So Cal here. Just got back from spending the week in Sacramento. Did some hunting there but no luck in my quest for figs #33-#40. Then by hunting back in So Cal the last two days, my luck changed. Taking everybody's tip about Kohls, I went to two local ones and found the Clone Commander, Grievous, and Palpatine with the red saber. Then I went by TRU and found the Clone Pilot, Vader's Droid, Polis, Mas Amedda, and Palpatine with blue saber. No sign of the Tank Gunner. Went by Target and found the 12" Shaak Ti and Barriss Offee. KB had the new Chewie exclusive and also the battle arena sets. Lastly, the AT-RT with Driver is showing up, I think, in their own case. I found 5 at both Target and TRU. But beware, it seems Target has them priced at $19.99 like the mid size vehicle where as TRU is priced at $14.99 which! I think is the correct price like the BARC Speeder. Happy Hunting to all and wishing all who are going to C3 loads of fun since I am not able to.

Sandtrooper Jedimaster Eric Reports:
“Hello Troops, There is not to much to mention here in Niagara Falls, NY now that the hype from the 4/2 release is over. So far I have been able to get all of the figures minus 37-40. I know they will be easier to find in the coming weeks. However, due to a recent car accident I was injured in, I am no longer able to attend CIII and was hoping that someone out there could help a fellow trooper out. I need the exclusive talking Vader figure. I will pay, trade, whatever I can.”

Sandtrooper Jedimaster-C Reports:
Are they still making these?“I went to Target this morning. We have 2 of them and one had the 12-inch Shaak Ta and Baris Offee. Both looked good but I don't fool with the 12-inch figures. Cool nonetheless. They also had one ARC-170 if anyone in the Huntsville area is looking for one. I also ran into this pretty hilarious Star Wars Spoof, maybe some of the other Troopers will think it was as funny as I did. Good luck to you guys at CIII. Take care.”

Three New Trailers at StarWars.com!
Obi-Wan holding his own against General Grievous! The Official Site has just released three additional trailers for the upcoming Revenge of the Sith film, which will be out in theaters in exactly one month from today. The three trailers are the following: "Jedi Action 1," "Jedi Action 2" and "Unite." These are approximately thirty seconds in length, but you will see quite a bit of new footage that we haven't seen yet. In "Unite" you will have the opportunity of hearing General Grievous speak for the very first time, and I was kind of shocked that it wasn't the same voice used from the animated Clone Wars micro-series. Watch at your own risk, because some scenes show some spoiler related material.

And to all you Sandtroopers attending Celebration III, May The Force Be With You All! I unfortunately had to cancel, but will make it up at San Diego Comic con. Sandtrooper Carella Reports:
“Finally nailed down the last of the first forty (Chopper Droid). Still need a Palpatine with red Lightsaber. If someone has an extra I have lots to trade. Let me know. Most of the stores in Tucson have 1-33 and the usual assortment of mid-sized vehicles, games, puzzles, Lego, etc. Trading cards and pins are the only new things on the shelves since April 1st. How cool is Darth Vader corn flakes and Death Star M&Ms? Also, I could really use a CIII Vader that talk (I can't go to CIII cause I already booked for San Diego) so if any one has an extra to trade let me know. Peace and good hunting.”

Sandtrooper Hoth Chad Reports:
“Hoth Chad from Minnesota checking in. I hit a lot of stores this weekend and this is what I found or didn't find. Wal-Mart and Toys R Us had nothing new or worth speaking of. Target had nothing new, except some remaining 33-36 figures. At Kohls I found figures 35-40, except 38. It seems that Kohls has the #35 Palpatine with the red saber. That is the only place I have found them. If you happen to have a Media Play by you they have the Battle Arenas there. I found the Palpatine vs. Mace and the Dooku vs. Skywalker, they are also $2 cheaper then they were at Toys R Us. If any troopers can get an extra C3 Vader, I'm looking for one to trade a Lava Vader for. Hope one of you can help me out. Thanks in advance.”

I'd like to go into full details about this new trailer, but I don't want to reveal any possible spoilers since there are a couple clips that are a bit revealing. One of SoCal's Finest!“With advice from many, I hit up my local Kohl's in Temecula, Ca yesterday and to my surprise I found a large display with mostly 1-32 figures, but tucked away within the display was 5 of the 33-40 figures. Two of them were a little banged up, but the other 3 were just fine. I left an extra Polis Massan and a clone pilot that were in pretty bad shape. Go to Kohl's everyone. Otherwise not much else anywhere. Question: Is there really a ROTS red battle Droid? A report called out a red Battle Droid was found. Is this a hoax, or is this legit? Lastly, does anyone have an extra Pablo Jill of the Post OTC waves? I realized I do not have him and only need him to be up to date. If there is anyone out there, I may have something you need. Celebration IIIAt CIII we will all have the chance to hear+see Hayden Christensen, but won't have the chance to actually meet him. The chosen one will be in Italy working production on the up-coming movie "Decameron" Instead, he will be on the line with a live interview, question and answer session hosted by Jay Laga'aia. We will get to hear what is was like for him to actually put on the Vader costume as well as what is next in line for him as far as movie roles. Check the official site for the official word. Maybe we can get lucky and actually have Natalie Portman-(Padme') show up at the event itself. I will make sure to bring my bib with me then, got to have something in place to catch the drool.

Sandtrooper Hoth Chad Reports:
“I found the Wal-Mart carrying case at one of my local Wal-Marts on Sunday and they had about 12 of them. Most of the Target and Wal-Mart stores got in the 33-36 figures. Kohls had 37-39 figures. Did not see any of the AT-TE figures. They are there if you want to pay the $7 price with price stickers on the back. Also I have a Lava Vader I'm looking to trade for a Celebration 3 Vader. Let me know if any troopers can help me out.”

Sandtrooper Giancarlo Reports:
“Hi Troopers, I haven't sent a post since AOTC or even before, but I've been here since day one with my fellow trooper George Collazo. Anyway, I haven't read anywhere on the net about this and was curious. I opened my ARC-170 Fighter, because let's face it good vehicles are meant to be opened. It is awesome but I noticed that at the back it has something that resembles a clamp that seems to go into something else (like a C-shaped thing with a small plastic square in the middle). Does anyone know if it attaches to something else, like that cool flying trooper that should be out soon?”

Sandtrooper Jon Reports:
“Hey troopers, I need your help! I need a mint Mara Jade figure from the Expanded Universe line. I will buy, pay paypal or send but I need it for C3! With all the retail constipation I decided it was time to go back and fill up some holes. Can anyone help a fellow out? Does anyone have any news on the Palpatine red/blue saber variant? Is the red one harder to get at this point? I bought a red variant for 15.99-but I also have the blue one-just curious so if I find another red one I can snatch it up for someone-thanks! The force is with us.... always! Thanks and United We Find!”

Sandtrooper Ghost of Qui-Gon Reports:
“Ghost of QG from Kansas City here. Been awhile since I've done an area report, so here goes. Targets are pretty slim for new figures right now, but I did find the new 12" Shaak Ti and Barriss Offee today. I was surprised at how good they looked. Not bad Hasbro. Wal-Mart's in the area got in the Clone Commander's and Pilot's waves last week, along with a few scatterings of the AT-TE gunner. TRU's are nothing but fields of MM figures. Did pick up an extra Holo Yoda for a friend. Kohl's has been hot! Tons of Clones of all types with a sprinkle of Gunner's. $6.99 does hurt the wallet after awhile, though. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys C3 (bring me my stuff Rob!) and I wanna send a shot out to all the cool guys in the Sandtroopers.com forums (even you WedgeWannaBe and daytrip903) Great place to talk Star Wars in an environment free of the petty arguments that have plagued other forums. I encourage everyone! to sign up. Peace out and kick scalper a$$!”

Sandtrooper J Loud Reports: The Ball being Dropped!
“Hey Troopers, I was simply shocked my dopey TRU had them hanging on the pegs (Holo Yoda). I actually witnessed a no job having scalp snag 15 of them. Yes, I spoke to him and tried to provoke him in a calm but persistent manner and I couldn't get him to snap. I wanted one off word and I think he would have been eating some Holo Yoda. Nice how the Poughkeepsie, NY Toys R Us just let him walk out with 15 of these exclusives, what tools. Anyway, I got mine but now that's 15 less for other collectors in the area. This tool also told me he was able to get 10 more Lava Vaders the following Tuesday as Target at the Galleria Mall in Poughkeepsie friggin put a case on the pegs!! What happened to have enough for collectors on Sat? I'm done, take care. I feel much better now!”

Sandtrooper Jedimaster-C Reports:
Are they still making these?“I went to TRU on Sunday to look at a few things. I know, the Holo Yoda was being sold that day. I tell ya this guy was going be sold faster a jackrabbit on a date. They didn't have anything I wanted to buy to get him. I said screw it and took him up the register and he rang up $9.99. He is a very nice figure. I took back the 2 Early bird sets to Wal-Mart and got my money back to make up for buying the Holo Yoda. I wasn't too happy with the figures that you will receive with that. Hope you Troopers had an easy time with Holographic Yoda. If my store could have just had another ARC-170!”

Sandtrooper Kevin Reports: With his very own Holographic Hassle
S.C.A.L.P. Demolition Expert, Columbus,OH“Upon the visit to my Toys R Us store here in Columbus, Ohio on Morse road I grabbed two of the $14.99 ships with figure to make my $25.00 purchases and got in line. Was the next to get a Yoda the last one and they opened a second check out line and the manager took my Yoda and gave it to the first person in the new lane - so I left my items at the store and walked out after a discussion with her. They only got one box of them, they did have some at another location so I went there and was able to get it - that store had 5 boxes of them - the Sawmill location. Was able to find figures 33- 40 except 38 and 39 at Kroger of all places today. So check out your local Kroger stores if you have one in your area and you might get lucky. If any one going to the Celebration 3 can pick me up the exclusive talking Vader I would appreciate it - can trade a Target Vader for it or would buy it plus shipping etc, I heard you could also get a case for it as well. Mother is still looking for somewhere where she can find Star Wars earrings. Also, For those of you going to Celebration 3 I ran across this web address that might be helpful it shows alot of the merchandise for sale at the Celebration 3 store.”

Area Report: Holographic Hassle and a Needle in a S.C.A.L.P. Stack
Doesn't play well with Others!Hey Troopers, after being reminded by Jedimaster-C today was the day to acquire the Holographic Yoda. It was a shame none of the three I ordered from Amazon.com came in a condition worth speaking about. All were returned the day after I received crushed cards with no bubble or air wrap. I decided to continue to fill my collection and get the figure free vs. buying it outright. I settled for an ARC-170 Fighter to satisfy the $25.00 purchase. After going through the pegs of what is now know as the latest in pegwarmers. It mostly consisted of Collection 1 minus the Clone Trooper. I did see the 12-inch Anakin but I think Im going to wait that one out. Red Guard, Blue Guard keep in mind Troops, they made plenty to go around. Dont be sucked in by the rare and hard to find. How many figures from the other two releases were hard to find? I remember just a few at the tail end. They had the Holographic Yoda available and were doing 1 per customer, and you could only get it at the service desk. So I guess you could say they were doing it right! I also took a tip from Sandtrooper Jetfire and scoped out the Kohls store in Gurnee, IL. There I managed to snag Mas Amedda #40, so if your looking for figures 33-40 Id hit Kohls if you have them nearby. With less than two weeks until the greatest Woodstock of Star Wars let us unite and help each other fill the gaps. Leave no Troop behind!

One of SoCal's Finest!“Had lots of luck today with the Holographic Yoda. As a matter of fact I have a few extra. I also have an extra holographic Emperor, a ROTS blue Royal Guard, as well as Silver Sandtroopers and Silver Vader. I am hoping others are in need of these and would be willing to make a few trades. I am in need of the red royal guard, and pretty much all figures greater than #33. Email me if you have any offers. By the way, has anyone seen the AT-RT? Does this even exist? Will it be a part of a later wave? If anyone knows, drop me a line.”

Got Ink? - Show Off Yours at CIII
There are so many people in all different countries that have gotten their favorite Star Wars moments or characters captured in that favorite scene and transfered it to a Tattoo. I have been deciding myself for the last year on what I really want, but can never make up my mind. But, at CIII you will be able to show off that ink (if it's in a safe spot) for display as well as in competition. On Sunday April 24th in the Fan Fair section, Shane Turgeon will be heading this area dedicated to Star Wars Tattoo's. Feel free to check out his site for many cool pictures of Tattoos from all over the world. Maybe I will get the Death Star put right on my big, white head. I am bald and it would stand out in a crowd!

Sandtrooper Jedimaster-C Reports:
Are they still making these?“Hey all, Jedimaster-C here with some news. I was at Wal-Mart this morning before I went to work and saw 3 cases of figures on a pallet. The cases contained 24 figures. One of the cases was opened so I looked into inside and to my surprise 2 Red guards stare at me. I grabbed 2 of them. I want to so I can open. These guys are the best Royal Guards that Hasbro ever made. The only problem is they don't have force pikes. They have these large laser rifles. They fit in the cockpit of the shuttle nicely. If you still need the Red guards they are out there. The case only had 2 of them, which sucks.”

Sandtrooper Darth Sgt. K Reports:
“I have been lucky enough to spot several hard to get figures of late, Clone Commander, Clone Pilot, red imperial guard and blue imperial guard at my local Wal-Mart's in southern CA (Vista, San Marcos, San Diego and Oceanside (Carlsbad as some think of it) respectfully. I was wondering if there is a Trooper out there willing to help a Marine (Camp Pendleton) who has received much help in the past from Troopers with getting his hands on the elusive but not impossible figures 37 through 40. (Believe my thoughts tell me only Wal-Mart's had 33-40 figures!) I am not looking to buy so to speak, but willing to listen to options as to a good price or trade I can arrange. I will be working at a local TRU after the summer, part time so I will really try to get the down low on the new things until I deploy again in the coming fiscal year. I will keep you all posted, as this is my main website to find out what is going down. Thanks for your help and support!”

Sandtrooper Avenging Knight Reports:
“I stopped into the Ontario Toys R Us this evening after work as I sometimes do and was perusing the pegs for anything new when to my surprise, there, hanging on the lower left peg of the display was a single Holographic Yoda. I grabbed it and was thinking to myself how lucky I was when I turned the corner of the aisle where the regular Star Wars stuff is kept and saw 6 cases of Holographic Yoda sitting amongst the nights inventory. One case was already opened and appeared to be rifled through. The cards on most of the figures were bent and in pretty bad shape. While I was standing around waiting to see if anything else would be brought out, one of the employees saw the cases and took them into the back. When I took my Yoda up to pay the girl told me I was lucky because they had made a mistake and shouldn't have brought those out until Sunday, though I was still able to buy mine. I guess on Sunday there will be plenty of them but some of them were pretty beat up.”

Updates at Hasbro.com!
The Early Bird doesn't get VOTCHey Troopers, the info coming back on the Wal-Mart Early Bird Kit is very encouraging. Sandtrooper Dan now owes me five bucks due to the fact there are some new sculpts that will be packaged with the mail-in and not leftover VOTC as my good friend suspected! The Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia are both an all-new design, for more on this great news visit the official site. I would also check out Commander Bacara and Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar photos they just posted. They're are certainly a hot item! I would definitely run the binoculars over them once or twice.

If anyone is interested I'd like to trade it for AT-TE Gunner, Clone Pilot, or Clone Commander (I need 2 of each so I'm willing to trade and buy). Take care troops the figs are out there! Sandtrooper Darth Pharaoh Reports:
“Darth Pharaoh here, and Ive just finished listening to the ROTS audio book on CD.I dont get a lot of reading time with 2 kids and a wife so I did the next best thing. To start, this is abridged from the novel and even more so (to my understanding) where it comes to some of the nearly pure action sequences. Such as the battle of Kashyyyk. Its not even on the CD version. Nor are many other scenes we already know about. However this is reasonable considering they cant realistically make the audio version as long as it would need to be. And frankly, its nice to not know absolutely everything Ill be seeing in the theatre on May 19th. With that in mind, it is actually quite good. The reader is a man named John Davis, with a very pleasant voice he keeps your attention without droning on in some monotone rehashing. In fact he even throws in accents (his Obi-Wan is actually quite good) and can ramp up some good emotion when appropriate without going over the top. The only thing he really was allowed to do that can grate, is a not so impressive attempt at an imitation of Yoda`s voice. He may have been better off talking normal. There are also just enough sound effects and music thrown in as well. It adds a nice touch that really helps to visualize what youre listening too. All in all its well worth the on sale price of less than $20. If you can get it for that its a nice buy.”

Sandtrooper Aantmantooine Reports:
Southwest Virginia: I swung by the ole Wal-Mart late Monday night, just after the 16 hours of the Force to find that they had put out 29-40 figs (first sign of them here), and I got all but 33-36 (i.e. coolest of the cool ones). I imagine they came from cases delivered earlier in the week and kept back in the storeroom until the merchandise was brought inside from the tent extravaganza. They put out another case tonight and I was able to pick up a Palpatine #35 with Blue Saberhmm, picture on back has Red saberhmm, crummy scalpers on ebay say red saber is so cool its worth more.hmm. Anyway, you make the call. Just wanted everyone to know to be on the look out if you prefer a different color, or both! For some odd reason I decided to give K-Mart a try. They had a small assortment of the first wave at $6.99 a piece. Interestingly, I was able to pick up a Super-Deformed Darth Vader, which I hadnt heard much (anything) about prior to seeing it. They also had the other three in the assortment, C-3P0, R2, and Chewy. There is a cutout on the bottom of the packaging to make the sound effects work, and they were $9.99 each. Also had Lego and a re-release of a Vader Talking Bank.”

Sandtroopette Donna Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Costal Defender“Hey Troops, Donna from So Cal with my madness report. Arrived at Wal-Mart at 11:15 p.m. to only find that there was nobody waiting in line outside where the tent was set up. Asked an employee who was leaving the store if this Wal-Mart was having midnight madness and she said no. Apparently, the list on the website was incorrect in stating that this store was participating. Luckily, there was a TRU close by that I knew was holding midnight madness so I headed there next. Arriving at TRU around 11:25 p.m., I was about the 50th person in line. This store only had 10 Holographic Yoda's and the first 10 people already got the tickets. The manager at this store was very orderly. He only allowed 10 people in at a time so nobody got trampled and only allowed each person a limit of 2 of the same figure so everybody had a chance to get everything they stocked. I finally entered the store around 12:40 p.m. and spent a half hour shopping. I must say the manager did a very good job. No pushing and knocking people over at all. A very enjoyable experience.” For the rest of the report and amazing trade offer click here.

Sandtrooper Bill Reports: CreatureCantina.com celebrates Four Years!
CC.comThis week marks CreatureCantina.com's fourth anniversary! That's four years of lambasting our hobby, our community, the Saga, its actors, its characters, and of course its creator. Of course it's all been in good fun... mostly. As the CC.com staff marches on towards another year of irreverent humor, they've posted a massive update this week to celebrate this special occasion. On top of the most scathing Star Wars comedy on the web, they're rewarding their readers with the chance to win a valuable prize! They're raffling off a one-of-a-kind piece of Cable Original artwork. It's an ink drawing of Walrusman a.k.a. Ponda Baba. Each Cable Original piece is hand drawn on high-quality 9" x 12" bristol board, and each character is only drawn once then retired. For details on how to enter this free drawing, please visit the CreatureCantina.com Web Site. Go for the contest... stay for the content! The CC.com staff has gone all-out this week, and they intend to have you on the floor with humor!

Death Star Diorama Still Needs Your Help!
We are now at two weeks and counting until the start of Celebration III. That is why I am again reminding everyone that we still need your help. We still need many figures to populate the Death Star dioramas. If you will please again read what Frank D. (niubniub) and I have to ask of you, you will see we are still in dire need. If you can help out some fellow troopers to make this the best diorama scene ever please do so. We cannot do this without the generosity of fellow troopers like you. Thank you with all of your generosity and we will see you at Celebration III.

Celebration III Updates
Celebration IIIWe are just shy of two weeks away from four days of nothing but Star Wars in Indianapolis. The official Celebration III site has announced more events that have been recently added to the table. Please check the links below for the official releases.

More Behind the Magic at CIII
We all know that George Lucas will be on hand at CIII, but we all have the chance to meet the talent that reports to him, and brings his ideas to life. From concept artists to designers you will have a chance to meet and talk to the folks that work their tails off making our favorite Star Wars movies. Some of the talent that will be on hand will be: Ryan Church (Concept Design Supervisor), Iain McCaig (Concept Artist), Robert E. Barnes (Concept Artist), Dan Gregoire (Previsualization/Effects Supervisor), and many others that will share what it takes to create the magic that is added to these films. Other departments that will also be on hand will be the "Visual Effect Team," "Various Arts Teams" as well as the "Lighting Team" that will talk about the focus on creative "mood" lighting and how it is essential and believable on screen (cue Barry White music here - just kidding).

Romper Room at CIII
Not all the fun will be taken by the adults in attendance at CIII. There will also be an area set up for the kids to have a great time as well. Friday through Sunday the Star Wars Kids Room will be set up in Room #102 for families to go and spend some quality time enjoying various craft projects. There will be a lot for the little ones to do such as coloring, story sessions, droid building classes, drawing classes, and other events to cater to the kids. Please check out the official announcement for the complete time listings for each day. Plus, they will offer free face painting, but for KIDS only (Sorry Dan and Spice, you will have to get someone else to paint your faces as Darth Maul).

Two More Midnight Madness Reports from the Staff
Midnight MadnessWe have added two more reports from this past weekend's Midnight Madness event. First up is a report from Dave Demel (starfox), who happened to score not only Target's exclusive Lava Vader figure but also the Toys 'R Us Holographic Yoda. He was also able to hook me up with one of each, thanks to his wonderful wife for helping out in that mission! Then we have a report from Rob Amid (WedgeWannaBe), who was able to do his Star Wars shopping in style, by wearing his TIE Fighter Pilot outfit. You can tell in some of the photos that he's having a great time. We hope you enjoy their reports and all of the other staff members' reports as well.

New Video Clips from the ROTS Video Game
ROTS Video GameLucasArts has just released seven new video clips of the upcoming game, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. In the video clips you get to see Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi kick some major butt against Super Battle Droids and even Count Dooku, while they're onboard one of the Trade Federation Cruisers. Coming to a Cell Phone Near You...
Star Wars: Puzzle BlasterGamespot.com has just written up a preview for an upcoming Star Wars game called "Puzzle Blaster." You might not have already heard of this game, and that's because it's not going to be out for Xbox, PS2 or Gamecube... it will be released for compatible Cingulair cell phones! The concept of the game, developed by THQ Wireless, is to shoot Star Wars characters' heads out of a movable cannon at the bottom of the screen to create groups of like icons, eliminating them before they crush you. There are eleven characters in all, such as R2-D2, General Grievous, Chewbacca and more. In single-player mode you have a few different games you can play, but supposedly the major selling point of this game is playing its multiplayer mode. Read the full preview and see screenshots of the game here.

Want to Listen to Some Music from ROTS?
Grievous Speaks to Lord SideousThe Official Site now has a preview track from the Revenge of the Sith soundtrack that you can listen to. I can sum up my reaction toward this preview track in one single word... "Wow!" The song, titled "Grievous Speaks to Lord Sideous," gives you a taste of what is yet to come for the ROTS soundtrack. John Williams has done another great job by using his muscial abilities to the fullest, and by only hearing one minute of music you're pulled deep into the movie. You do have to be a Hyperspace member to listen to this, but if you're not a Hyperspace member yet you might want to reconsider joining the club. If it weren't for the talents of John Williams and his outstanding orchestra, Star Wars films would probably not be as good as they really are. The soundtrack CD will be released on Tuesday (5/3), and will include an exclusive collector's DVD, "Star Wars: A Musical Journey." For more information about this release. Read more about this here.

Chat with Matt Stover Online 4/6
Matt StoverMatt Stover, author of the "Revenge of the Sith" novel, will be online this Wednesday (4/6) for an exclusive chat with Hyperspace members starting at 1:00pm (EST). There will be a lot to discuss regarding ROTS, so if you want to avoid spoilers then you don't want to participate in this online chat. But then again, if you're already a Hyperspace member I'm sure it's safe to say that you're very much into spoiler material. Read more about this here.

Sandtrooper Dom Reports:
Anyone have a 12-inch Plo Koon?“Troops, I'm posting this for the second time so obviously I'm desperate. I have a 4-day child's badge for Celebration III that I want to sell. There must be some trooper out there who wants to make some young Padawan happy by surprising him or her with a trip to the biggest Star Wars party ever! I will seriously consider any offers. I accept trades. Take advantage of me. I'll be sure you get it in time for C3. Listening to any reasonable or unreasonable offers.”

Sandtrooper Darth Pharaoh Reports:
“Darth Pharaoh here in the land of (almost) no Star Wars, Atlanta, GA! This weekend was of course a Target, Wal-Mart mandated exception to the no Star Wars rule. Friday night I arrived at my local TRU at 11:40 pm and was about 15th in line, there were about 20 by midnight. Naturally the ones there were vultures and by the time I got to the little Star Wars nook most of the best was gone. I did get the BARC speeder and a few figures there but naturally there were no Holographic Yoda figures in the store. Back on the 10th I guess!” For the rest of the report click here.

Sandtrooper Jimsjedi Reporting: Extra Money Back
JimsjediHere is some information that should be useful to a lot of Troopers out there...

Target Stores
I hope everyone had fun this weekend going store to store and hopefully finding everything you were looking for. If you stopped at Target and either had a coupon or not now would be a good time to go there to get more figures. I took my lunch hour to check out more stores and at my Target in Milford, MA I noticed that all SW figures were now just $5.00. I called this store and the Millbury,MA one and both said they would honor this price and give me the balance back from Saturday if I still had the receipt. So make sure you didn't throw these away. I am not sure if this sale is at all Targets but it wouldn't hurt to check.

K-Mart
At the Milford K-Mart they have all of their SW figs at 2 for $11.00. They pretty much had everything that all of the other stores had, but the only difference I saw was that they had all of the re-hashed Super Deformed figs. If you had a hard time finding thses before you have another chance to pick them up.

Poll: Did You Find Figures #33-40?
Midnight MadnessI can certainly tell you one thing that I didnt find a single one of these basic action figures ranging from #33-40. I spoke to a local collector who mentioned that he found every single one of them, and if I remember correctly I think he said he had found them all at Meijers. What figures were expected to be released on April 2nd? Was it only supposed to be #1-32 or #1-40? There were reports from all over the country that people either found them or they didnt find any of them, so Im curious to know how these were released that night. Whatever the case, were running a poll over in the forums asking this very question, so please stop in there and cast your vote. Be sure to reply to the thread, and let us know what store you found them in. If you didnt find these figures (like me), Im sure there will be many fellow Troopers here who could give us all a helping hand. United We Find!

Share Pics of Your New Toys With Us
Midnight MadnessI think it would be safe to say that a great majority of us went out Friday night for the grand Midnight Madness event, and if you did we would like to see what you purchased. Did you only buy the basic figures? Did you buy everything you saw that had been labeled Star Wars? Did you go out on Saturday and Sunday to continue your shopping spree? Whatever the case, send us your pictures and well be glad to post them up on our website for you.

A Couple Celebration III Updates
Celebration IIIWe are three weeks away from four days of nothing but Star Wars in Indianapolis. The official Celebration III site has announced more events that have been recently added to the table. Please check the links below for the official releases.

Padawan Training at CIII
Are your kids driving you crazy? Is the darkside ready to take them over? Well help is here if they will be with you at CIII. At various times everyday they will have the chance to learn the ways of the force at the Jedi Training Academy. A jedi master will guide them through lightsaber techniques, as well as a way a jedi defends himself at all times. Make sure they use this talent for good and not evil. Thank god my kids will be home because I know in time they would use this power against me. Enjoy.

ROTS Magic Makers
The backbone of the Star Wars creation team will be on hand for Q&A at CIII to discuss the behind the scenes actions of ILM and the fun that goes into working on various films. Lorne Peterson, Danny Wagner, and Don Bies will walk you through what it takes from the imagination process to the actual models used in films today. All 3 individuals have had the chance to work on other movies such as Van Hellsing, Peter Pan, Men in Black, E.T. and countless others. If you are into visual effects/modeling in films make sure you don't miss this.

Someone Hates Star Wars!?
I know there are a lot of people out there who don't like Star Wars, but I haven't read too many publicized opinions where people basically say "Star Wars sucks." Well, George Poague, a report for the theleafchronicle.com, has shared with the world his thoughts and opinions about Star Wars and the upcoming Revenge of the Sith. It's obvious that he doesn't care too much for Star Wars, and he's not afraid of expressing himself. Yes, he is writing for their Opinion section, but when you write opinions like that you're bound to get bombarded by lots of hate mail. So, with that said, everyone here should send this dope an email, and give him our opinions about his recent news article. Read the full article here.

Sandtrooper Devils Ewok Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Psycho Ward we're trying to figure out if he's staff or a patient!“Well Troops Devils Ewok here with a report on Midnight Madness TRU Blaine, MN. My wife and friend and I got there at 2:30pm expecting a large crowd. No one else joined the line until 10 p.m. (Wussies!) By Midnight there were about 50-75 people in line. I went in, grabbed my 12-inch Grievous, Unleashed Grievous and 5 3 ? figures (would have had more but I'm on a darn budget!)Had a ticket for Holo Yoda but it didn't impress me so I gave my ticket to another collector. A friend got me a Lava Vader so I'm covered on that. On a cool side note I was covering the event for EternalCollector.com and was able to get inside DURING setup and snap some un-pillaged photos. Going hunting again soon.”

Legacy Trooper: Sand Francisco Tim Reports
S.C.A.L.P. Desert Recon“Hey Troopers, It?s been a long, long, even longer, time since I last posted. Now that I am over some of the trials and tribulations of this thing called life I can get back into it. MIDNIGHT MADNESS was exactly that! I went to my not so neighborhood Wal-Mart and waited for an hour only to find out they were not open at midnight, contrary to the web-site. I then raced up to TRU Redwood City and found the remnants of the Star Wars staging area. I was able to grab all the Jedi, BARC, the Boga, and deluxe Palpatine.” For the rest of the report click here.

Sandtrooper Parkay Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Desert Recon“I missed out on both the Holographic Yoda and Lava Vader. My Wal-Mart here is packed with early bird sets. I'll pick up for anyone who can't find one (cash, so you'll have the receipt to go with). But out of curiosity I looked for Lava Vader on ebay and was totally disgusted at the fact that my search came up with over 1000 of them, not to mention the prices they want! Does anyone know if the Target online deal for Lava Vader means they'll be available to order in 4-8wks, or was it a pre-sell and they won't ship until 4-8wks?”

Sandtrooper Sean V. Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Foreign Legion“As a fellow Canadian I too went over the border to one of the Wal-Mart?s for midnight madness. All I can say it was free for all and the first for me. Because the isle was so narrow there was no way every body could get in. While the first in line went for the figures I went for the big stuff on the bottom shelf. There was way more figures than vehicles and I was able to get one gunship of two that they put out. The next morning was target where my goal was to find the Arc-170, which I did which they only, had two of two! I was the second to grab it after an 11 year-old with his mother and brother on a recon mission. She had them trained well. Anyway they all the stores had the first 32 and that's into yeah I also got a Lava Vader and my non collecting friend got one as well I figured I was there so I might as well get one.”

Sandtrooper SoCal Rod Reports:
“S.C.A.L.P Operative SouthernCali reporting here. Boy, I had a fun weekend. Hit Wal-Mart Friday night, Saturday morning to see none other than Trooper SouthernCali Dom waiting anxiously in line. At 11:30 we were about 5th and 6th in line respectively. Half the fun throughout the night was talking to Dom and some of the other collectors rummaging through the aisles. Between all of us all the figures were there, but no one got all 40 (okay, 41 with the red and blue guard). Figures #32, the Red Guard, and the 12-inch figures turned out to be the real challenge as only a few cases of these were accounted for. The real Trooper of the night and the total money spent grand champion was the lady and her family that left with two carts and over $500 worth of stuff. Pretty good haul.” For the rest of the report click here.

Sandtrooper Cpl. Hritz Reports:
“Hey, hey, Troops, It?s good to leave a post here after the loooong dry spell in NW Indiana, looks like everyone is happy scoring the latest loot, I made the rounds yesterday and scored the same stuff everyone else did. I was going to pass on a few figures like Yoda, Vader, Obi-wan, cause they pretty much look the same with every release, but I couldn't help myself, they are pretty cool. I had a nice surprise when I got to work this past Wednesday; I went over to my toolbox and there were two big boxes, the Code3 Republic Gunship has landed. This ship is bada$%. Hey, I didn't get any welding done, or accomplish anything, I was distracted all day long, that box was just screaming open me, open me! When I got home and opened it up and put it in the display case, all I can say is, Impressive, most impressive. OK I rambled enough, see you all at CIII. Semper Fi Troops!”

Sandtrooper Jon Reports: Lava Vader at Target.com
“Hey Troopers! I have two things to report about! One, Target Online now has the Lava Darth Vader icon on their website for $12.99, and will be available in 4-8 weeks so check it out! Secondly, there are three new teaser trailers for ROTS, the one marked "Tragedy" is awesome, it shows Anakin confronting Padme, warning her not to turn against him like the Jedi did. Just go to Starwars.com, because they all are awesome! Reporting in on all ROTS finds yesterday. My local Wal-Mart had all figures minus the Clone Commander and exploding Greivous. They also had all vehicles, including ARC-170 Fighter... they had everything! I got off work at 7am and went right to Wal-Mart, and got everything I didn't have already. On another note, unfortunatley Toyglobe.com has not found it reasonable to refund my $200 they owe me, even after countless emails, too bad because I could use the money to pay my credit card bill now! I can't wait until 5/19/2005! May the force be with us!”

Sandtrooper Chew69acca Reports:
“I have been to Target and was lucky to pick up a Lava Vader and a bunch of figures and vehicles. I spoke to a lot of other collectors and everybody was mad that the Wal-Mart around here, which did not have the early bird promotion here. So I was wondering if anybody out there had one for trade or sell that could do that for me I would appreciate it. If you could purchase it with cash and remember to save the receipt to mail to me with the kit. I read on Galactic Hunter you need the receipt to claim the figures. Great plan to curtail scalping. Let me know thank you. Also looking for 30 through 40 figures have only saw 1 through 29 here so far in North CT. So if anyone has a Early Bird from Wal-Mart for sell or trade let me know thank you.”

Sandtrooper Onebigk Reports: By any Mom's Necessary!
S.C.A.L.P. Demolition Expert, Columbus,OHDay1 Recon: Even with temps in the low 30?s and snow - at Meijer on Cleveland Ave found all basic figures 1-24 they matched Wal-Mart $5.24 price, 12 in figures for 16.88 - only me and one other guy were looking through them, most other people were at Wal-Mart stores here in town. At the Wal-Mart on Morse road I found 25-28 and the Early Bird Kit, the tent events was kind of lame - the dark side of the M and M ?s were rather tasty. Target on Polaris Parkway found 29-32, was able to get two of the Lava Vader thanks to mother who just happened to be with me and they gave her a ticket for one - and she used it - go mom, maybe be willing to trade for say a CIII Vader. No midnight madness here in Columbus. Toys R Us - also no Holographic Yoda, they said next week but they did have a giant display in the front of the store was awesome. Going back out tomorrow and see if I can find anything else.”

Sandtrooper SoCal Dom Reports:
One of SoCal's Finest!“Everyone has a story to tell and I just thought I would tell mine. I went to the Hemet, Ca Wal-Mart last night and met up with fellow Trooper So Cali Rod. We waited near the section about 11:30 and watched the clueless employees stock the shelves. I don't know if this was the same everywhere else, but these guys were not even half-way finished when 12:01 rolled around. Anyways, we saw each of the 40 figures released, however, there may have been 2 cases of the lot that had the upper 30's. After watching the figures being placed on the pegs, I noticed 4-6 red guards but no blue ones. I figured the blues were harder to find. Unfortunately, I was able to get the blue and when I looked for the red, they were gone. All in all, not bad: I got the first 32 figures, minus the red guard of course, and Mas Amedda #40. I did get all 3 Unleashed figures, straight from the case, all 4 deluxe figures and the Barc and Boga. I did not see the ARC-170, nor the AT-TE however and they only had 2 cases of 12-inch figures.” For the rest of the report click here.

Sandtrooper Dom Reports: Deep in the Woods of Wisconsin
Anyone have a 12-inch Plo Koon?“Jedi Dom reporting in from East Central Wisconsin: Well, it's been a good day. Went to the local Wal-Mart at midnight and found a couple of honest collectors, some families with young padawans, and a band of scalpers. Wal-Mart had the four preview vehicles, Darth Tater, the Obi with Boga, the new Unleashed wave (which was gone before I left the store), the AT-RT, and the 12-inch including the Ultimate Villain Anakin/Vader. They also had a huge selection of 3.75-inch figures, but I didn't see any clone commanders or red guards. This morning I stopped at Target and got the Lava Vader, the BARC Speeder, and the ARC-170. Then I went to Toys R Us at 9:00 because an employee told me over the phone that they would be opening an hour earlier than usual. As it turns out, another collector, whom I met while standing outside the store, was told the same thing. A manager spotted the five or six of us waiting by the door, came outside, and told us that the store would open at it's usual time, 10:00. We explained what we had been told about the opening time, and that we were all interested in the Holographic Yoda.” For the rest of the report click here.

Sandtrooper Aantmanntooine Reports:
Southwest Virginia: ? Hit Midnight Madness at two different Wal-Mart?s last night and picked up 1-28. I heard rumors of up to 32, but didn?t see any signs. I was lucky enough at Target this morning to get a Lava Vader and one of the two (out of about 15) red Royal Guards. Using the coupon I got in the mail, the nice gal at Target treated the Unleashed Grievous, Lava Vader, and all the cup figures as figure purchases as well and gave me $1.00 off each of those. The cups look nice, but they are repacked quick-draw Clone Trooper, sneak preview Grievous, and slash-attack Obi-Wan (#1). Already sent my Early Bird certificate in. The case is kind of bulky looks sharp standing the certificate on its own. If you cut along the underside of the bottom with an exacto, you can slide it out and still keep it in tact (minus where you cut out the proof of purchase). I am also very interested in trading my Lava Vader for a CIII Vader if someone can pick one up, or working something reasonable out. I have a list of other things I have picked up over the last year I?d be willing to talk about too. Email me if interested.”

Sandtrooper Jeffred5 Reports:
“Hey Troopers, It's been a looong time, but with the big event I had two get out. So, I'm reporting in from the Oakland County MI area. I hate to correct other contributers but, I have found every figure #1-32 (including red and Blue Royal Guards) without too much trouble, by going to Target, Wal-Mart, and TRU. The Only thing I haven't yet acquired is the TRU Holo Yoda, every TRU I go to either says they're all gone, not here yet, or can't be sold until 4/10. I even tried Amazon.com and it said unavailable. I did get the Target Lava Vader and it's pretty cool, but it was $12.99 which I feel is BS. Good luck everyone. MTFBWY”

Sandtrooper Forcehunter Reports: Back from Jacksonville, Fl.!
“Almost the same stuff found as I listed in the TRU Midnight Madness Report however, the Target on San Jose did have the BARC Speeder and the ARC-170, all sold out now. No Droid Tri-Fighters however unlike TRU. There were only 36 Lava Vaders there, but everyone who wanted one got one. There were some Blue Royal Guards. Surprisingly, Tarfful was nowhere to be seen.”

Sandtrooper Rogue Jedi TJ Reports:
Guy Smiley!“Rogue Jedi TJ Reporting in with local store reports and a plea for Help on some items. I am hoping someone can help me with the Lava Vader and Wal-Mart Early Bird, also the 12" General Grievious and Clone Commander. I have a Magna Guard, Emperor Palpatine with lightsaber, Blue Guard and Padme available. Onto the store report, went to my local Wally World around 20 after 12 and found nothing but scalpers and idiotic employees. There was Mr. ?Hey look at me everybody?, you know the guy, the one who gets everything he wants then hangs around showing off everything he has in his cart.” For the rest of the report click here.

Sandtrooper Dennis Reports:
24/7 S.C.A.L.P. Trooper“I went to the midnight sale at TRU (Gurnee, IL). Most of the people there
wanted the following: all the basic figures, any General Grievous figs, Unleashed figs, ARC-170 & 12-inch figs. What people didn't want was the Attacktix, Force Battlers, & lightsabers. I asked one of the checkout guys what was the most someone spent on ROTS stuff tonight & he said around $333.00. A few people were lucky enough to pick up Vader's Medical Droid, Polis Massan, Mas Amedda, Agen Kolar & Clone Commander. I did not see the Clone Pilot, Padme, Shaak Ti, or Mon Mothma there. When the crowd died down, I got to talk with some of collectors. One guy said the Wal-mart (Antioch, Il) had all the figs except Aayla Secura. So he came to Gurnee to pick it up because there were plenty. Another collector started to put stuff back because he realized he didn't need all of it. They also had Batman Begins items but no one cared. That's all for now.”

Unleashed: Series 1 Unleashed figures include General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Anakin & Obi-Wan figures can be positioned together for a nice battle scene. Set of 3 is available for $54.99. We have a pre-order up for Unleashed wave 2 as well.

12-inch Figures: The Ultimate Villain Darth Vader figure is available for $54.99. This set comes with a 12-inch Anakin figure and Darth Vader's armor/helmet/scarred head come as additional parts so you can transition the figure from Anakin to Darth Vader. Grievous, Darth Sidious and Clone Trooper are also available.

Attackix: A new battle-action role playing game system. We have starter sets, boosters, and battle master vehicle figures. This new game looks like it would be a lot of fun, the pieces have to by physically knocked down to be removed from the game and the last piece standing wins!

Basic: We have the first 36 figures in stock now - some in quite limited quantities. The figures are split between Collection 1 and Collection 2, we have more of many of these on the way and further new figures are also on order so if they sell out early please check back in a week or so.

Vehicles: Anakin and Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter, Grievous Wheel Bike, and Droid Tri-Fighter are in stock. Also in stock are the AT-RT, Barc Speeder with Barc Trooper, and Boga with Obi-Wan.

Blasters: Priced at $26.99 - we have 3 different blasters in stock: Clone Trooper Blaster, General Grievous's Blaster, and Chewbacca's Bowcaster.

Sandtrooper Forcehunter Reports:
“Sandtrooper Forcehunter reporting with a vengence from TRU Midnight Madness at Phillips Highway in Jacksonville, Fl. The question to ask is what is not there. Basically, no one should expect to find the Clones other than the regular trooper, Mon Mothma, exploding Grevious, Blue Royal Guard, Medic Droid Mas Ameda etc. Essentially, if you go by the numbers, if you find 26-40, consider it an early find today. I'd did not see the Barc Speeder or the ARC-170, but good luck finding those. The quick hits were: Ultimate Vader (the deluxe Anakin changing into Darth), Grievous Guard, Darth Vader, and Clone Trooper. I'll report back later after a Target recon.”

Star Wars TV Coming Soon!
Channel 4 News out of London, England, recently reported that a Star Wars television show is indeed going to happen, and supposedly Kevin Smith will be heading the project. The show is expected to be a mixture of live action and CGI effects, and may include some cameo appearances from previous Star Wars actors and actresses. April 2nd Will Be Here in Less Than 24 Hours
Anakin's Jedi StarfighterTomorrow is April 2nd, and I think we all know what is so special about that day. No, it's not a major holiday. Yes, it is a Saturday which means you either don't have to work (at least most of us won't have to) or don't have any school to attend. At midnight tonight, across the country, thousands of Star Wars fans and collectors will be rushing to get their hands on new Revenge of the Sith toys. It's what is known as the "Midnight Madness" sale. Stores like Target, Wal-Mart and Toys 'R Us will all be participating in the grand event, and they should all be fully stocked with ROTS toys ready to be sold.

The Wal-Mart "Early Bird Set" was briefly mentioned over at the online edition of the Whittier Daily News (located in Whittier, CA), and they help explain what the deal is with this exclusive set. Staff Writer Candice Choi writes, "Wal-Mart is selling a package of classic action figures reproduced from 1977. To create an authentic feel, shoppers will buy an empty box and send away for four action figures just as shoppers did for the original toys. Only 50,000 are being made available at select locations."

Let us know what you ended up buying, and please share your overall experience and thoughts about Midnight Madness here in our forums. United We Find!

The ROTS Novel Will Be a Major Success
General GrievousThe Associated Press recently wrote up a nice article about the soon-to-be released novel, "Revenge of the Sith," which was published by Del Ray and written by Matt Stover. The writer of the article, Hillel Italie, explains how Del Ray had so much confidence that this hardcover novel would be a major success, that they didn't feel the need to release it first in paperback format (which is supposedly the "norm" in book standards). Stover told the AP, "Look at how much we know already: We know that Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader. We know that the republic falls and becomes the empire. We know that Anakin is horribly burned and can only survive by being encased in the armor that enables him to live as Darth Vader," Stover says." Read the full article here.
