Sandtrooper Bobafred Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Demolition Expert, Columbus,OH“Bobafred chiming in from the Valley in So. Cal. Just wanted to give all the Troops a big what up! I know right about now every one seems to be gearing down for 4/2/05 weekend madness. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up on the Target $1.00 off coupon, I contacted Target Visa at 1-888-755-5856 inquiring about such a promo...had them take care of the leg work for me...as it turns out they referred me back to my local Target's as I confirmed with my local Manager's that on 4/2/05 only! Will all stores hold this coupon in hand for those who never received one? I am one of many Visa cardholders who will never receive it. So Troopers to make a long story short, hit them digits, and holler at your locals, to assure they don't drop the ball as they have already. I picked up all Episode III 12-inch and I must say that General Grievous and Palpatine are the chase after all exclusives. Wal-Mart has the best price at $18.86, while Target comes in at $19.99, and K-B's at 24.99. The 12-inch Anakin/Vader comes in at $48.86, but seems to be getting passed on already. Wishing you all the best on your hunt...Bobafred signing out!”

Sandtrooper Kevin Reports:
S.C.A.L.P. Ranger“Check out CNN.com for an article the amount of money uncle George has made. Also for any one finding figures early and not able to buy them. First ask to speak to the District Manager. It is bad business to pack the floor only to say ?sorry?. If that fails...hide them. Try lifting up the base deck in another isle. You could also try to take them to another area, say furniture and put them in a drawer. While I don't condone this type of behavior under normal circumstances, like when I am looking for something. When retailers do this it is only fair. Coming from a retailer myself. Good luck this weekend. If any one is in the Burlington, NJ area Saturday, I'll be the one with the red hair and the limp. I broke two toes last Thursday. So if you see me limping and getting run over please grab a Deluxe Vader and me a #11 Vader. That's all I want. And I'll grab some stuff for you.”

Exclusive Interview with Author Matt Stover
Matt StoverMatt Stover, who happens to be the author of the "Revenge of the Sith" novel (to be released on April 2nd), sat down in an exclusive interview with the folks at The Official Site, and talked about several different topics relating to the final movie in the Star Wars saga. Some of the topics discussed were tying together the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy, whether or not he wrote the book in conjunction with the final script to ROTS, and what he talked about with the big man himself, George Lucas. The Men Behind the Magic at Celebration III
CIIIILM Visual Effects guru's that bring to life the visual effects of Revenge of the Sith will be on hand in Indy to answer some questions and to show some of their own images from behind the scenes. Roger Guyett and John Knoll are very well known to Star Wars fans. Knoll earned Academy Award nominations for Episodes I and II, as well as for his ground-breaking work on Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Guyett's breakthroughs are visual effects wizardry in the films Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. For his visual effects work on Azkaban Guyett earned an Academy Award Nomination. He has been with ILM since 1994 and has worked on Casper, Dragonheart, and countless others. Make sure all of you "Tech Geeks," myself included, check these two out at CIII. Read the official announcement here.

My Thoughts: By the looks of it, it seems that the whole gang that works under Mr.Lucas will be on hand for autographs, demonstrations, parties, and everything else under the Tatooine Suns. Makes you think if the man himself "Darth Flanel" will make an appearence as well. How cool would that be!

Star Wars Wind Up Walkers: A Ride Into the Illicit
Wind Up Walkers - StormtrooperFor the collecting toy community, bootlegging is easily associated to almost anything illegitimately involved in the manufacturing of a non licensed toy. As such, the number of toy lines and characters that have been bootlegged is incredible.

On the Guide you are about to see, I suspend judgment and present without romanticizing the obviously illegal practice of intellectual property theft, Bootleg Wind Up Walkers as simple pieces of Star Wars memorabilia offered without a license. Without any discriminatory intentions, this is pure documentation for a special brand of hard-core fanatics and a special kind of merchandise, which in this case, sports a very peculiar style. Enjoy!

BBTS Shipping Policy Update: We've decided to cease using the USPS Parcel Select program after monitoring delivery times - the delivery times were not up to our expectations and our main concern is a satisfactory delivery time for all customers. Due to ever increasing shipping expenses and multiple rate increases from UPS over the past few years, we need to raise our flat rate shipping to $6.99 per order. All orders placed using the $6.99 rate will ship by either UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Packages will on average arrive in 2 - 4 business days after we ship. This is an attractive delivery time for a reasonable shipping fee that is still one of the lowest in the industry. (All pre-orders placed in the past at the $4.99 & $5.99 rates will be honored at the $4.99 & $5.99 rate.)

Master Replicas: Darth Vader - A New Hope - F/X Saber. This very popular F/X saber is back in stock for $113.99. It comes with a display stand and full size saber blade. Many other Master Replicas items are in stock and all the new Star Wars items are available for pre-order as well.

Lord of the Rings: Two new gift packs have just arrived. The Pelennor Fields set includes the Mumakil Rider and Morannon Orc figures which are only available in this set. The Lothlorien Gift Pack has also arrived and contains the Haldir and Celeborn figures that are only available in this giftset.

Spiderman: A nice variety of new Spiderman items has arrived. Highlights include the Spider-Man Classic Villains set. Here is a chance to pick up all the short-packed chase figures from previous Classic waves at a fraction of the price. The set of 5 figures includes one each of: Green Goblin, Ultimate Rhino, Ultimate Lizard, Tail-Strike Scorpion, and Carnage. These sold for $15 to $25 each in the past and are now available for $9.99 to $10.99 each or $49.99 for the set of 5! The very popular Sinister Six boxed set is back in stock for $44.99. Spider-Man Classic Wave 12 sets of 6 are in stock for $64.99 and these other new items have also arrived: Stunt System Expansion Sets, Web Power Gloves & Mask, Motorized Webble Shooter, Floor Crawling Spider-Man and More!

WWE Classic Superstars: We've received Jakks WWE Classic Superstar figures from Series 3, 4, and 5. These waves contain tons of 80's and 90's wrestlers including: King Kong Bundy, Jake the Snake Roberts, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, Hacksaw Jum Duggan, Jimmy Superfly Snuka, The Million Dollar Man and More!

“Hey Troopers, I realize the big day is right around the corner but if you are out hunting you might want to look in a few places you might normally wouldn't. Today I found the new 12-inch Clone Trooper at Suncoast at Harlem Irving Plaza in Norridge. I snapped a front and back shot for S.C.A.L.P. Verivication. Hope any and all fellow Troopers will join some of the Midwest Garrison members at the Toys R Us store in Niles, Il this Friday night! Hope to see some of you there. March has been an exiting month at Cloud City. We are still in the process of developing the new website based on ASP.NET technology. We are also preparing for our journey to Star Wars Celebration 3 in Indianapolis, Indiana April 21-24, where we will be setting up a very large showcase of Star Wars toys from 1977-Present, all of which will be available for sale. Cloud City has just added over 150 new AFA graded products to the website. We also have several hundred ebay auctions posted right now. They include many true rarities such as an original double-telescoping Ben Kenobi with original card and bubble, an unproduced Admiral Screed, several rare displays, and many high grade items from Star Wars, G.I. Joe, and Transformers. We also plan to add about 200 additional AFA-graded products next week, as well as about 100 ungraded carded figures, boxed vehicles and playsets. We have also just acquired approx. 150 sealed G.I. Joe vehicles from 1987-1990 which we have submitted to AFA for grading. We are working hard to purchase several other Transformers and G.I. Joe collections with early 80's sealed products. Please check back often.

Coming Soon: A complete selection of Episode 3 merchandise will also go on sale this Saturday. Please check back at that time to purchase the full line of Revenge of the Sith toys for great prices. Our new website should be finished shortly and we promise the changes will be fantastic. Sandtrooper Darth25 Reports:
“Darth25 here from Central Wisconsin. I am in total agreement with Sand trooper Dan of the Northwood?s of Wisconsin. I recommend placing a blockade around the Kmart store in Wausau. The Wal-Mart stores in Point and Rapids should also be boycotted due to clerks who know nothing of Star Wars. Yesterday all 32 of the Episode III figures were on the store shelves at the Stevens Point store. Knowing that I would be buzzed at the checkout if I tried to purchase them, I flagged down a worker in the toy department and asked if these figures could be purchased today. He said sure, on I proceeded to load my cart with all 32. When I went to checkout, all scanned up as not for sale. The clerk calls back to toys and the same person from toys that I had just talked to, comes up, takes all of the figures back and says someone else must have put these out by mistake. Talk about morons on your team. On three other occasions in the past week I have called the store in Wisconsin Rapids to ask about the upcoming April 2nd release date and at what time the merchandise would be out for sale and also if they would have any of the Early Bird Coupons. I have been told the merchandise would be out at midnight, 5am and 7am, respectfully, and that no stores in our area would have the Early Bird Coupons. Which means I too will be at Target to spend my money.”

“Hey, just thought I would warn all of you who have pre-order or pending orders with Toyglobe.com- be careful! I had 2 separate pre-orders each for approximately 135.00. They charged my card which was no problem, but when I was able to pick the items up locally before they were removed, I canceled the orders. I even offered to pay a restock charge. It has been over 2 weeks now, no refund, no return emails, nothing! Just wanted to send out this warning that you may have a tough time getting refund if you are entitled to one. The weird thing is he sent some of my items, I don't get it? Anyways, sorry for the vent but I thought I?d give you fellow Troops a heads up.”

    Several Celebration III Updates
Celebration IIIWe are three weeks away from four days of nothing but Star Wars in Indianapolis. The official Celebration III site has announced more events that have been recently added to the table. Please check the links below for the official releases.

Celebration at Celebration III is SOLD OUT!
The masquerade party (if you want to dress up) will be hosted by Jay Laga'aia and he will take part with the crowd to vote on the best costume. The Mt. San Jacinto College Menifee Jazz Ensemble of California will open up the event and will also play our favorite Star Wars Themes. A Punk/Hard Rock band from my area of Massachusetts, Springfield to be exact, will also take the stage to rock the cantina. Pallet will be on hand for those who would like a little moshing on Tatooine.

    Fan Film Awards
Lucasfilm and AtomFilms have announced the 16 finalists for this year's Fan Film Awards. You can checkout all 16 of the submitted films here, and make sure you vote because every vote counts! Voting will end on April 5th, so hurry and pick the winner. The awards ceremony will be held on April 22nd and will be hosted by Warrick Davis.

    Two More MCs Announced
Tom Berg and Doug Steves take the stage once again at CIII. Both appeared at CII and were a blast for all. Tom Berg is a traffic reporter and morning show sidekick for WRTV Channel 6 and WZPL-FM (99.5) in Indianapolis. His easy-going and talkative manner, coupled with his profound love of all things Star Wars, make him an ideal host for the CIII stages. Doug Steves has worked for Wizards of the Coast, and he was often called upon to host many Gen Con gaming conventions With his growing knowledge of Star Wars material, it seems natural to blend these abilities together. He will be the main host for the Behind-the-Scenes stage, and will spend some time in the 500 Ballroom as well.

    Sandtrooper Dom Reports:
One of SoCal's Finest!“Hello fellow troopers. Just wanted to know if anyone had answers to a couple of the questions I am about to ask. It appears that there may be some confusion about certain exclusives and their release dates.

First, be aware that the Holographic Yoda will not be released during Midnight Madness. It will not be released until April 10. The only exclusive that will be released at Midnight will be the Wal-Mart exclusive gift pack. Target will have the Lava Vader the morning of April 2nd. My question is, does anyone know which figures will be released on April 2nd? For AOTC, they released the 1st 27 figures, with a few deluxe figs, a few vehicles, etc. Specifically, how many, or which of the individual 3 ? figures will be released?

Second, I am unable to make a trip out to Celebration III. Being in Southern California, it is just a bit too far. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to pick me up an exclusive Vader figure? I know this may be much to ask, however I will make this vow: If there is anyone who would be willing to send me one (I will pay cost and shipping of course), I will gladly reciprocate by picking up whatever exclusive figure that will be released at the Comic Con in San Diego this summer (to pay cost plus shipping of course). I am sure Darth Spice will vouch for me on this one. I know how hard it is for people to fly across country to pick up a figure that costs $10, but hey, there has to be someone who might be interested. Please send me an email. Good luck this weekend!”

    Twice bitten, NEVER going back!
A couple weeks ago I reported that our local K-Mart in the Wausau WI area had all the new ROTS figures and Deluxe sets hanging on the pegs, and I was left hanging at the register when I tried to check out. Since then all the stuff has been removed from the shelfs and pegs until today.

I stopped by the same K-Mart with my wife to look for some new G.I. Joes and low and behold I see a bunch of new ROTS stuff. This time there were no figures at all but they did have all the new 12 inch figures (including Ultimate Villain Anakin), Palm Talkers, and Lightsabers. I grabbed a 12 inch Grevious and threw it in the cart just to see what would happen at checkout. Well I got the shaft again! I knew it was a long shot but I was curious to see if the Employees at my local K-Mart were complete morons. They are! After having all the ROTS merchandise in the back room after the first screw up why would they put even more out on the floor?

I've had it with this K-Mart and I don't plan on spending a dime on ROTS toys in that store. I'm asking everybody in the vicinity to boy cot this K-Mart and we'll let them sit on all that merchandise for years to come. Now that would make a Sandtrooper happy!

On a happier note, it's finaly starting to warm up here in the Northwoods of Wisconsin just in time for the best toy release of the new Millenium. Revenge Of The Sith! And i'm doing my shopping at TARGET. Good luck in your neck of the woods!

    Think You Know It All?
Star Wars LEGOThe online version of Entertainment Weekly has three "Pop Culture" quizzes based on the Star Wars universe to test your knowledge of The Force. First you're asked five questions about Episodes IV-VI, then five questions about Episodes I-II, and then five more questions about spin-off television shows. There were a couple questions that you'll probably get incorrect, but overall the questions are not that difficult. It's great trivia to use with your friends who think they know everything there is to know about Star Wars. Take the three quizzes here, and read more Star Wars news on their site.

LEGO Star Wars Designer Diary #3
Star Wars LEGOGamespot.com has just released their LEGO Star Wars Designer Diary #3, which happens to be titled "Feel the Force." Jonathan Smith, Development Director for the game, reveals more of the quirky development process behind the endearing action platformer. He mentions, "We decide up front to go for a third-person perspective on the player characters to make the most of our planned character variety." He also mentions, "Focusing on our goals for 'a world full of rewards and surprises,' though, as well as the ability to 'play out movie scenes in your own way,' we do develop quite specifically the idea of 'free play,' which goes on to become one of our key original features and the source of our major technical challenges." One other great thing that was mentioned was the ability to drive LEGO vehicles! This looks like it will be a great Star Wars video game for all to play, even those who are not very much attracted to the world of LEGO. All-in-all it's a pretty cool little touch to the site, but what would be even better is if they had the toys out on shelves and pegs right now! Until then Troopers, United We Find!

    Sandtrooper Rogue Jedi TJ Reports:
Guy Smiley!“I am in need of help from one of the many Troops. I very much want a Target Exclusive Lava Vader, my dilemma is that I do not have a Target store near me and fear I may miss out on this one. If any of the Troops get lucky and can pick up an extra one please keep me in mind. I will throw in a couple extra bucks for the Troopers time. I just wish #1 that they would make enough for everyone to have one, and #2 I had a Target store near me.”

    Happy Easter
Hey Troopers, from the entire Staff of Sandtroopers.com to all of you and your entire families we wish you a very Happy Easter. For me Easter is one of my favorite Holidays due to the fact that over 27 years ago was the first morning I received my first Star Wars figures. My brother and I got Luke, Darth Vader, R2-D2 and C-3P0. Although I swindled him out of the Dark Lord and the Professor in the early months that followed, I could have never imagined my love for Star Wars could last all these years and decades later. I understand this isn't the reason we celebrate Easter, but some fond memories I'd like to share with you, again Happy Easter!

    Sandtrooper Mike Reports:
“Hey Troopers, I have been working at a fever pitch to try to construct my Clone Trooper Armor for Celebration III. It's one of those things that is a lot of work but when completed you feel so good. I snapped a front and couple of shots from the sides for your viewing pleasure. I'm glad I have a Darth Vader & Stormtrooper costume to fall back on in case I can't finish the armor! On the toy front the only thing I found this week was the Saga Trivial Pursuit Friday morning at the Miejers in Arlington Heights, IL!”

Impressive, most impressive. From one Darth to another Mike! That is the slickest helmet I have ever seen, great work!

    Two New Collections Added!
Jeff's CollectionWe have just finished adding two new collections to our Collections page. First up is Jeff Grant's collection. It appears that Jeff likes to keeps his figures in the cards, and you can tell that he's displayed them quite nicely. Two items that jump right out at you are the Interactive R2-D2 and the Star Wars: A New Hope poster.

Peter's CollectionNext up we have Peter's collection! Peter focuses much of his collecting attention toward large figures (12-inch) and ships, but he obviously collects other items. Two great pieces in his collection are the 12-inch vintage Darth Vader and Boba Fett figures, which look great displayed in his collection.

Check out everyone else's collections here. If you would like us to host pictures of your collections simply send us an email, and we'd be happy to make your own page for your collection.

Section Update: POTC Collection - Mission Accomplished!
Hey Troops, Sandwatch Action Figure Reviews have been updated. In the calm before the storm I have completed the review of the Post-OTC collection. Some of the rehashes were linked to the OTC releases due to the fact my mind didn't change about the figures in such a short amount of time. Some of these figures will be lucky to waste space in our 2005 images section. Although I do think it's rather low-class to kick out the same figure with different inserts and very subtle card changes. Do you agree? If so why don't you step inside and find out why Sandwatch Action Figure review is the most brutally honest review online. Feel free to offer your own feedback about the VOTC collection. Until then enter if you dare!

“For those in the South East London area - Woolworths in Addiscombe (current home town of Dave Prowse) are now selling Wave 2 ROTS figures. They had all 12 of them available today at ?5.99 each. Happy shopping Londoners! Just an observation, it looks like all Royal Guard figures in the UK are the Red ones (so far I've seen 3-4) and it's the blue cloaked Royal Guard which could most likely be the hard one to find over here.”

    Clone Wars: The End?
Clone Trooper CommanderThis past Monday was the first of five nights this week where we would be entertained by Genndy Tartakovsky's animated Star Wars micro-series known as Clone Wars. Each evening most of us spent twelve minutes with our eyes glued to our TV sets, watching the Jedi and Republic Army fighting against the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Anakin and his smoking arm!Sadly, tonight was the final chapter of this cartoon series, but it ended in a great way because it leads right up to where Episode III begins (in the film). If you missed tonight's episode and you're a Hyperspace member you can view it here. If you did get a chance to see it stop over in our forums and share your feedback with the rest of the Troops here.

On a final note, when you sit back and think about what the future looks like for Star Wars fans, it could be a TV show just like this cartoon micro-series that keeps us all wanting more and more Star Wars. I would be ecstatic if George Lucas asked Tartakovsky to make a weekly 30-minute animated Star Wars show for TV, because these 25 chapters have impressd the hell out of me. So, if you're reading this Mr. Lucas, please bring Tartakovsky's talent back for more Star Wars action.

Pepsi and 7-Eleven Team Up for ROTS
Yoda on the cover of a Diet Pepsi box.Pepsi-Cola North America and 7-Eleven, Inc. have joined forces in an effort to make a lot of money off of the upcoming movie, Revenge of the Sith. Cases of Diet Pepsi will have Yoda plastered on them, and will be running an instant-win sweepstakes where you can win one of ten $100,000 grand prizes by playing three different ways: online, by phone, or by text messaging. Also, Yoda and Chewbacca will be in a TV commercial, where Yoda will use the Force to get himself a Pepsi, but of course there will be a bit of humor in the commercial to make it more interesting to watch. And lastly, 7-Eleven will have a special slurpee called "Darth Dew," which is basically Mountain Dew Pitch Black (last summer's popular limited-edition soda that combines Mountain Dew and black grape flavor) and will come in four different Episode III collectible 3-D cups with lids shaped like the head of Darth Vader. Sandtrooper Jimsjedi Reporting: Beat the System
JimsjediMore new figures at Wal-Mart, and this time I was able to purchase them. Thanks goes out to my Star Wars collecting buddy BosskMR (who still needs to join the forums). At the Westborough, MA location there were stocked pegs with all of the new figures, but to beat the system I brought up a preview figure, not to a checkout, but to the self checkout that various stores now have. I simply scanned the preview figure eight times, and was able to purchse them. I know there is only 1 week left, but to get a jump on these is better than nothing. The others I was able to purchase were Count Dooku, Mace, Greivious, Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Yoda, Emperor Palpatine. Hope others can learn from this as well. Good luck!

    Sandtrooper Dom Reports: Got Padawan?
Anyone have a 12-inch Plo Koon?“Troopers, Help me out and we all walk away happy. Here's the situation: I purchased a 4-day child's badge for my daughter to attend CIII with me. Unfortunately, she didn't inform me of the dates of a play in which she will be performing. The dates are, you guessed it, April 21 - April 24. Needless to say, she won't be using the badge. So, if you wanted to bring a son or daughter with you to CIII, but didn't purchase a badge, here's your opportunity. The badge cost me $40.00, but maybe we could work something out. C'mon, troops, you're my only hope. P.S. I'm fairly certain that Darth Spice will vouch for my reputation.”

Desert Rat War Journal: Operation Numbskull
What the f@*$ ???What is the best way for retailers that don't know a "jack's rear end" about Star Wars merchandise not to create anymore mess and avoid early product spills? Well, the answer is simple: Take ALL Star Wars product back to the stock room ... and I mean ALL!

This is exactly what is going on at most retailers in my area, and according to reports coming in, it seems it is happening in many areas of the country.

It isn't anymore the I-think-you're-stupid answer we were getting when trying to purchase ROTS on the pegs: "Sir, Star Wars cannot be bought because it has been recalled" Now, in an attempt to avoid collectors claiming to buy early product and avoid further hassle, retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target have gone to an extreme and have made the entire Star Wars area totally disappear.

    Sandtrooper Jedi Master Pavo Reports:
“I today bought 8 wave 2 ROTS figures from a Woolworth Store in Streatham (South East London). I saw the cases in a cage of toys to be displayed, asked whether I could buy them and was told I could. I still thought that I would be prevented from doing so at the checkout, but no, they scanned through and I grinned all the way back home! These figures are quality! Lots were left there, but when I sent my wife to another Woolworth branch later in the day to try and buy some wave 1 figures, they refused to let her buy them and said she could only do so from April 2nd. I had bought the rest of wave 2 on ebay already. I wasn't passing up an opportunity! Also, bought tickets for two showings of ROTS in London's Leicester Square on the opening day. Man, what a start to our Easter break. It will be a day long remembered!”

Clone Wars, Chapter 23: Action Galore!
Last night?s episode of Clone Wars, Chapter 23, was one of the best Clone Wars episodes yet! It was filled with some of the best fighting scenes, from Mace Windu doing his E. Honda punching technique (from the old-time video game Street Fighter) on a bunch of Super Battle Droids, to Yoda riding his horse-like creature into a huge flock of Super Battle Droids with his lightsaber blazing, and Saesee Tiin leading a swarm of ARC-170 Fighters up into a space battle above Coruscant. Yes, there was the scene with Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi on the planet Nelvaan that was kind of slow, but overall this was an episode I had to watch several times because it was that good. If you?re a Hyperspace member and you happened to miss this episode you can view it here.

Star Wars Galaxies: Episode III Rage of the Wookiees Preview
TIE InterceptorGamespot.com has recently written a preview for the expansion pack Rage of the Wookiees, which is an addition to the online game, Star Wars Galaxies. This preview goes into great detail in regards to the new and improved spaceships you will encounter in Rage of the Wookiees. Several Imperial fighters have been modified for improved performance, such as Darth Vader?s TIE Advanced, the TIE Fighter, and the new TIE Interceptor (specifically designed for the Emperor?s Royal Guards and is painted crimson red in color). The Rebellion is sporting new vehicles in the game as well, such as the Z95, X-Wing , ARC-170, and lastly new Jedi Starfighter (as scene in Revenge of the Sith). We even get the chance to see General Grievous? spaceship, the Belbullab-22. For those Troopers out there who already have Star Wars Galaxies, this expansion pack looks like a must-have. This is expected to be released on May 5th, which is two weeks before the release of ROTS.

Several News Stories About Celebration III
Celebration IIISince we've been down for a short while we have had a few news stories relating to Celebration III sitting on the back burner, and here they are...

    Vendors at CIII

Some of the ones listed, and in no order are Brian's Toys, Burger King, Hasbro, Federation Toys Dark Horse, 3-Day Blinds, Gentle Giant Studios, Jakks Pacific, The Topps Company and many others. It seems like your whole one-stop Star Wars shopping center will be available for four days. Next Up for Lucasfilm: Star Wars on TV
Steve SansweetSteve Sansweet, Lucasfilm?s Director of Content Management and Fan Relations, recently told Now Playing Magazine that Lucasfilm is most certainly going to bring the Star Wars universe to television in the not so distant future. Sansweet was quoted by saying the following: "We are looking into all kinds of things for the future. We?re looking for television clearly: animation [and] we are looking into live action television.". Obviously this is great news to all Star Wars fans, because we've been curious to know what will happen after Revenge of the Sith comes out in theaters on May 19th. There were rumors about Star Wars coming to television, but just as I mentioned they were simply rumors and are now truly factual. Read the full story here.

The Dark Side of the Force Flows Through StarWars.com
New Look at StarWars.comThe web developers over at Lucasfilm must have been putting in extra hours at the office, because they have re-designed the look of the Official Site's front page in honor of Revenge of the Sith. The background is primarily black and red in color with Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi dueling with their lightsabers on the fiery lava planet of Mustafar, and in the foreground we have several rotating images of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, General Grievous, and many more. You can now download ROTS desktop wallpaper and AOL Buddy Icons, learn more about the characters and planets in ROTS, go behind the scenes of ROTS, and even view the pictures in the ROTS Gallery. The main chunk of the Star Wars website hasn't changed, but just the front page and pages relating to ROTS. Go to the Official Site to see the new look for yourself, and cast your vote over in our forums if you like the new look or if you hate it.

PLEASE NOTE: You must have the latest version of Macromedia Flash installed on your computer in order to navigate throughout the main Star Wars front page.

Reactions Toward Chapter 21 of Clone Wars
Anakin Becoming a JediLast night millions of Star Wars fans had their eyes and ears glued to their TVs, waiting to watch the highly anticipated 21st chapter of the animated Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. I didn't watch it live because I wasn't home, but it certainly was recorded by my trusty Tivo box. The second I made it home I turned on my TV, brought up the Tivo menu and started up Chapter 21.

General GrievousRight off the bat you're on board one of the Republic Gunships, this time it resembles an old World War II bomber with that shark's grin on the front of it, and the heroic ARC Troopers are prepping up for a major battle with General Grievous. What is their mission? Their mission is to rescue all the Jedi who haven't already been slaughtered by General Grievous. Several Jedi and a few ARC Troopers died on the battle field, but that wasn't going to put a damper on their rescue mission.

C-3PO Goes Gold! The rest of Chapter 21 seemed a little weak to me, but now that these episodes are twelve minutes long Genndy Tartakovsky and his team of artists don't have to cram so much action in each episode just to make it a successful show. We learn about Anakin's encounter with the tree on what looks to be Dagobah, just as Luke Skywalker had his encounter with the cave in the Empire Srikes Back. We also get to see C-3PO for the very first time in his gold-plated body, but I think Tartakovsky should have made that scene a little serious than what we saw last night. We witnessed Anakin and Padme's love for each other grow stronger, and best of all we saw Anakin become a Jedi Knight of the Republic.

Anakin speaking with Obi-WanIf you happened to miss last night's episode and you're a Hyperspace member you can view it here. If you did get a chance to see it stop over in our forums and share your feedback with the rest of the Troops here. And as a reminder do not forget that Chapter 22 will air tonight at 7:00pm (ET) on the Cartoon Network.

Dewback Patrol: Wizard World Long Beach - Coastal Espionage
Ah Wizard World, that familar old paper smell of comic books in the air. Anyway, RJP and I went to Wizard World LA, located in Long Beach. There we saw various artists, three of which are Star Wars artists. The artists were the things that really stole the show. You can tell they love their work and the fans. There were no Star Wars guest appearances though, probably because of the upcoming C3. We also got a free tour of a WW2 ship out of it, but there really wasn?t too much as far as Show Exclusives are concerned. If you?d like to saddle up and check out what you missed, by all means let?s ride!

    Sandtrooper Mike Reports:
“Hey Troopers, chalk one up for the good guys, I ordered the Ultimate 12-inch Anakin on Friday at Toys R Us.com and it showed up at my door today! I snapped a front and back shot for S.C.A.L.P. verification. I hear they have already yanked the plug and are now holding these until April 2nd with the rest of the world. I see today they have some RotS figures and the ARC-170 listed in stock, maybe these will slip through their fingers too. Good luck Troops.”

Update: All items for RotS are shown as not available.

Sandtrooper Jimsjedi Reports: 30 days and Counting!
Jimsjedi“That?s right only 30 days left until Celebration 3 rolls into Indianapolis for another Star Wars convention. I, along with you have been counting down the days since I ordered my badge, hotel, and airfare back in September. Yesterday marked the first day of spring and here in New England it?s been one rough winter. In my area of Massachusetts we have had over 105 inches of snow this winter season. I am so sick of shoveling it, driving in it, and even looking at it. CIII has been my motivation through this, not to mention the championships of the Red Sox and the Patriots. Sorry, I just had to say it once again.

Now on to CIII. How are you going to spend all of that hard earned money you have been saving up? Are you going to look for all of the older products or just focus on the new stuff? Will you spend it all on 40+ celebrities that will be on hand signing autographs? Or will you drink it all away in the endless party atmosphere of Indianapolis? As you all head to and from Indy, try to capture your experience on what is was like for you, your family or your friends. Were you treated well? Were the lines frustrating? Were you able to get all of the CIII exclusives? Did you miss me buying the first rounds? I along with the other staff members here will be documenting our experiences of this event and would like to view yours as well. So, when you find time on that long car ride, or flight home try to capture what your life was like for the time spent in Indianapolis and send it in to us here. Thanks, and I hope to meet all of the Troops at CIII.”

New ROTS Deluxe Items at Hasbro!
New ROTS Items at Hasbro!POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING: Hasbro has just released new images of their Revenge of the Sith deluxe lineup, and I was blown away at how cool some of these are. The items that were released today were the following: Yoda on Can-Cell, Darth Vader on Operating Table, Clone Trooper with Winged Jet Backpack, and the Vulture Droid. The best of these has got to be Darth Vader on Operating Table. From the looks of it, you get to be the surgeon by applying the chest place, feet (if you look closely enough he doesn't have any feet), his right gauntlet, and of course his infamous helmet! To see all the incredible images click here, and be sure to talk about these new items over in our forums.

Four weeks and counting, we still need your help.
We are now at four weeks and counting until Celebration III. That is why I am again reminding everyone that we still need your help. Celebration III is just one month away and we still need many figures to populate the Death Star dioramas. If you will please again read what Frank D. (niubniub) and I have to ask of you, you will see we are still in dire need. If you can help out some fellow troopers to make this the best diorama scene ever please do so. We cannot do this without the generosity of fellow troopers like you. Thank you with all of your generosity and we will see you at Celebration III.

    Edible Sith
Today I made a stop into K-Mart and noticed in the grocery side that they stocked lots of editable Sith items. On an end cap I saw the Revenge of the Sith cereal with two box covers. One was Yoda and the other Darth Vader. Above that they had the Lava Berry Burst Pop Tarts with Darth Vader on the box. And on top of that was the Sith Fruit Snacks. All three of theses items are two for $5.00.

In the cereal aisle I saw many different cereal boxes with Star Wars printed on them. Some had Jedi Mind Games, Light-Up Lightsaber Spoon, Free Episode 1 DVD, and more. Also found were Kudos, which have box covers from all six Star Wars movies, Rice Krispies, Pop Tarts, and more. So it looks like the edible Star Wars items are now hitting stores with great Force.

    Republic Commando: Reviewed Again
Republic CommandoRepublic Commando, one of the hottest Star Wars games to ever make it to a gaming console, has been reviewed by another online source, this time by The Electric New Paper. The author of this review, Ian Tan, gave the game a good 8/10 score, but from the tone in his writing you can tell he's not much of a Star Wars fan. That's good though, because we're able to read a very unbiased review of the game. He believes this will be an incredible game for novices, but could be rather boring for advanced gamers. Read the full review here.

    Star Wars DVDs on Sale
Clone Wars, Volume II noticed in the Sunday ads of our Chicago Tribune today that there are a few Star Wars DVDs on sale. The first DVD I noticed that was on sale is the animated Clone Wars, Volume 1 DVD, which will be available this coming Tuesday and will only cost $12.99 at Best Buy. This DVD contains the first twenty chapters, and will also include a sneak peek at Revenge of the Sith.

The Phantom MenaceCircuit City has both The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Cloneson sale for only $11.99. Most of us probably already own TPM and AOTC on DVD, but for those who don't own it already them those are pretty good prices.

    Sandtrooper Stan Reports:
“In response to the story posted earlier, our toy dept. employees are being extremely tight-lipped about those days. Our store has only gotten 6-7 cases of figures in the last year because our store manager is very vocal about not liking Star Wars. We usually have the spaces allotted for the figures but it's just sitting there empty. I usually have to go to other stores in our area to get figures. We are getting 11 pallets of Star Wars toys, some are in already. I've also been able to find out that we'll have someone in a Vader costume on hand both days in the photo area to do pictures with the kids. If it's anything like the Spider-Man promo we had like that, it'll be someone in a pathetic Halloween costume but we can hope I guess.”

    Sandtrooper Larry Reports:
The Pride of Mentor, Ohio!“Hey Troops! My Wife was at our local Wally World last night, and found the first wave of EPIII figures. Of course, being at home, I was excited to here this. Apparently, as she was checking out, the cashier and a manger wouldn't allow her to purchase the new figures. They told my Wife they were recalled, and gave my Wife a hard time when she asked why they would be put out on the store floor. I want to drop a thermal detonator in the middle of the place. The local Mentor Wal-mart is worthless any more. Anyway, here's a list of the figures they had. 2 Anakin, 2 Obi-wan, Yoda, R2, Vader, Chewy, Tarful, and 2 others I cant remember. Good luck troops. They are coming.”
