 The creativity of Star Wars fans will continue to reach no limit as the San Diego Tripoli Rocket Association has built and launched a 23-foot long model of an X-Wing Fighter! There were over 40 men and 2500 hours put into the construction but how would this seven thousand dollar model hold up on the first flight?  It's bombs away once again as our Sandwatch guides are having Hasbro for dinner after eating Gentle Giant for breakfast. We can thank the bullseye for giving us the TIE Bomber for a third time. It has been quite a while since the TIE Bomber has been in stores but this may be the most appealing to the collector of today seeing as its the smallest most compact package design yet. Without a big window to damage we're guessing this new Bomber will not fly around very long! Thanks again to Boba Binks for laying down the cover fire all day long! |

The AT-RT Assault Squad is a blessing for those of us who slipped up and only bought one or two during the original RotS release. We can thank Target for giving us two AT-RT's and three Clone Troopers to add to our armies. The Battlepacks continue to get bigger and better. Even with a new paint scheme it's pretty easy to see the AT-RT Assualt Squad is well worth your money. |

 The Master Blaster of foamcore and plaster is back from the "abyss" and on the attack with another incredible Star Wars diorama. One of my greatest friends I've ever met on this long road has once again assembled another massive work that will inspire us all to hit up the hobby section on our next toy run. After a much neeed break from team Sandtroopers this summer, Dan has put together Ben's House from the self-imposed exile shown in A New Hope. The Clone Attack & Hunt for Grievous packs were already picked up. Sears at the Gurnee Mills mall has the Kmart exclusive tins in stock but hardly any Star Wars figures while Kohl's had one 4-LOM & the rest of the figures were from Wave 4 as well as Saga Legends.  The Folks over at the Force.net are reporting that during the Hasbro Fall 2007 Analyst Event this morning, they announced the much-anticipated "Star Wars" Clone Wars animated TV series would have a theatrical launch next year on August 8 and then on TV throughout the fall. When asked Lucasfilm to comment on this news, they replied that "It's one of the many things being discussed but we have no decisions yet.  Not too long ago in a galaxy far, far away, the characters of Family Guy were part of a new Star Wars experience as they were in Family Guy Presents: Blue Harvest. If you haven't seen this before, it's a parody of Star Wars: A New Hope, and an absolutely hilarious one at that.  Here’s an idea I have had for some time, but needed the curved bar sections for. Carefully cut the cardboard bar out of the Cantina Diorama and replace it with the plastic bar.  Darth Revan, Darth Malak and Pre-Cyborg General Grievous are three of the coolest looking figures Hasbro has produced in a long time. When I first saw pictures of these, I knew I just had to have them. Sadly, these are three figures I haven't found yet, and I'm curious to know if other troopers are having just as hard of a time finding them as I'm having. I am really wanting to add these to my collection, and I'm hoping to find them soon without having to pay too much money for them. They play the Star Wars Theme music, here is a movie of the carbon nanotube tuning into the John William's Classic. There is no doubt the Jawas were a great choice, you can immediatley see the difference between the two. Yes, they are different colors and for some reason the one with the blaster is glossy and the other is flat. Which is more than reason enough to add these little scavengers to your collections!  For those of us who happen to love Star Wars and has an Xbox 360 or Sony Playstation 3, it's probably safe to say that you already own both of the Star Wars LEGO games by LucasArts. I have both and haven't yet completed them 100%, but maybe I should hold off on those and pick up the new Star Wars LEGO game titled LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. There will be several new features in the game that aren't in the previous two, and if you have an Xbox 360 there's supposed to be several new achievements as well. I'm curious to know how many troopers here are planning on picking this up, so let us know if you're getting it or not. If you already own these games, why would you purchase this then? |
