Hasbro Q & A Session:
Latest Q&A from HasbroWe are happy to report we've received the latest round of questions from the high command of Hasbro for 2009. How does a new paint job and box justify a $30 price increase on an "exclusive" that just came out in December? Will there be any other types of droids to assemble in 2009 like maybe an R1, R3, 2-1B medical droid or even an Imperial Darktrooper? Are there any plans to produce a small scale ship or figure line to be carded and sold for the one dollar price point similar to that of Hot Wheels and or Matchbox cars? Even though we have most of these answers thanks to Toy Fair, we encourage you to log-in to the forums and check out what they had to say. We missed the deadline and have no set for this round for theJawa.com but make sure to check our our glowing-eyed friends next time. Do you have a question for the Hasbro Q & A Team? Log-in and leave your question in the forums.

Sound off on this hot topic with other Troopers in our forums! Thanks again to Sandtrooper Jedichirp for the heads up and for more check out the

Turbo Tank: This new Turbo Tank is expected to be a huge playset-type vehicle like other recent releases, in scale with the size of the figures. It is designed to carry up to 20 figures, and includes lights, phrases and sounds, along with a launchable Speeder Bike and removable command center. We've got this great new vehicle priced at $119.99, and we're expecting it this April.

Mighty Muggs Wave II: The second wave of 2009 Mighty Muggs includes Obi-Wan Kenobi from A New Hope, as well as Luke Skywalker in Hoth Gear, a Gammorrean Guard and a Scout Trooper. Build-A-Droid: This new wave of build-a-droid includes figures old and new. Titanium: The fifth wave of 2009 Star Wars Titanium includes some old friends as well as new ones. Prince Xizor's Virago, Bossk's Hound's Tooth, Red 4 X-Wing, Baron Fel's TIE Interceptor, Sebulba's Pod Racer, Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter with Hyperspace Ring and more fill this case, and it's priced at $79.99 for the twelve ships. You can also take a look at the singles, priced from $7.99 to $9.99 each.

Boba Fett Kubricks: The hottest bounty hunter in the galaxy is getting his own assortment of Kubricks. This line includes 1 McQuarrie Boba Fett, 1 McQuarrie and Johnston Boba Fett, 1 Holiday Special Boba Fett, a black and white prototype version, a Droids version and a vintage toy version. Sandwatch Guides: Luke with Desert Sport Skiff
Who needs a T-16?Our Sandwatch Guides are taking a look at one of the older deluxe figures from the 1996 Power of the Force collection. We know it wasn't just baseball players on the juice back in the 1990's, as our action figures were bulking up and discovering what many consider to be one of the first Expanded Universe vehicles of the modern era. For more check out our latest blast from the past and stay tuned as we revisit the deluxe line. Thanks again to Boba Binks keeping things locked and loaded.

Sandtrooper Sean Reports:
Hey love the site! I'm kinda new to collecting, I have about 450 items in my collection, mostly new stuff, I've been trying to get off the Hasbro spiral and buying Koto, GG, and Sideshow. just a little about me, I saw your review for the Han sandstorm figure. I think your right there. Of the figures I've gotten in the last year. I was most disappointed with this one. So much so that I pulled the head and scarf and put it on the Dagobah Luke body(from the X-wing set) with a few other stuff to make a custom. Anyway love the site and United We Find!

Thanks for the kind words! We understand our first installment of Sandwatch Live is a bit rough, and we promise to entertain and improve with time!
